Bit of info on the UMass Lowell situation: the video shows an area technically behind Riverview Suites, along nearby train tracks, and isn't really on campus. There is an active Asian gang that operates in Lowell and around the UMass Lowell campus - like, Asian Asian, not "we don't want to say Middle Eastern" Asian - and frequently robs students at gunpoint. Sometimes they get into fights and flash guns.

TL;DR: it is possible this is a gang-related thing.

I do genuinely think mass shootings are a symptom of our nihilistic cynical end of empire civilization that we're living under and there would be significantly less random acts of mass violence if things weren't so bleak and one bedroom apartments weren't $1500 a month.

The general public has known, very well, the names of certain prominent figures on that list for over 5 years; such as Clinton, Gates, and Andrew, yet nothing has come of it at all.
These people aren't even pariahs that you'd be crucified to daring to associate with, Clinton campaigned for Kamala and nobody cared in the slightest.

What good does a list do for the public? Tainting the jury pool? Fulfilling a step in some fantasy that a list would TOTALLY cause a hecking Luigi 2 to kill them all with ninja swords? The general public hasn't done shit, and isn't going to do shit.

I don't think there's much more that can be done, other than hoping the continuation of the administration that prosecuted Epstein in 2019, is now subpoenaing further to try to prosecute Epstein's clients. It's the only administration that has cared about Epstein, which makes sense given that the other 2 administrations since the first public accusations against Epstein have had Epstein-adjacent individuals as Secretary of State.
Perhaps that's too much to hope for though, as it is so often that Nothing Ever Happens (other than 2019, I suppose), but I think it's a reasonable hope to lean on.

Mass shootings aren't just about being cynical its also a willful engagement of a fantasy over reality. the thing all of these shootings have in common is that the perpetrator uses shooting a bunch of innocent people as a vehicle for a grandiose spergout in the hopes that the temper tantrum will force their fantasy into reality. it never works that way.

That's also how Baby Boomers deal with not being able to get a booth seat at Red Lobster, which is why they don't understand any of this.

If they were victimized, why not announce them now, when the microphones are already in front of you, instead of announcing to announce at some undefined later time?
If they have a list, why not release it years ago, instead when it is barely politically expedient as some sort of weird Hail Mary?
Also, if they have such a list, why would they not release it when the perpetrators are still hypothetically walking free? Doesn't that make them complicit in the abuse?
If such a list exists, what about it are we meant to believe is different from the information we already have?
Are we meant to believe that people who were victimized would have a detailed knowledge of everyone who was involved, even though they would have presumably not been around all forms of the abuse?
If they do release a list, do they have enough to corroborate it, or are they basically just going on their word - and how do they plan to handle the inevitable slander/libel lawsuits?
How much of this is tantamount to some therapist helping them "remember" some "suppressed" memory?

This whole thing feels like a stupid stunt.
