somewhere in my fucked up brain I remeber someone saying not to include direct links to news articles beacuse they have tools to sweep for where they are posted, did i fever dream that? IM happy to include links in the future if im wrong
what you might be thinking of is that if google detects you're copy/pasting entire articles they will dock your search rankings. this is why A&N is the only board that requires to be logged in to see because the amount of copied articles here would make it harder to find search results from other parts of the site. when you paste full articles in other parts of the site you're supposed to put the content between [ private ] tags to prevent people who aren't logged in from seeing the content

putting a link to the article, as well as an archive link, is also good to maintain chain of custody for information[/private]

Lmao. Trump just brought up the post-WW2 treaty with Japan. The rising sun shall shine again.

I was going to talk about that earlier in a post I've made about the anti-jew people how they probably don't realize that we're stuck with them due to all the treaties the WW2 giga boomers made with them after the Bongs made Israel a thing. A lot of our Representatives shouldn't be in office due to how they put Israel above America but they're pretty much joined to our hip.
The only treaty that I see Trump messing with is the Japan treaty so they can build up their own military to stand up against China but that would probably make the Worst Koreans sperg out since they're the Poland of Southeast Asia. All the butthurt is concentrated in Korea.
I don't think Trump has a problem with the Korean War treaty since he probably sees it the same as the Israeli ones.

>Japan announces national draft. At first met with lukewarm response, the number of enlistments skyrocketed once they rebranded it to "Featured S-star gachapon banners"

Please let this happen. I've always thought, of every single world power, the only one that doesn't actively hate us is Japan. Fuck, we launched the sun at them twice. They said "ARIGATO!" and then asked us to teach them industry.
Japan fucking loves us. We should be taking all the money we give to every other shithole that can't figure out how to carve wheels from wood yet and send it all to Japan. Build up their infrastructure even higher. Maybe help them expand a little bit. And then run the world as the Burger-Sushi coalition. Everything that we need all the other shitty countries for we can teach Japan to do, and to do cheaper and of higher quality.
And after all. Who wants to fight against a team of people who are willing to sit inside the bomb to pilot it while they make sashimi, and the other fights for the right to sit on top of it waving a cowboy hat and singing Freebird while we jam it up someone's ass?

The ghost of Abe as a last resort to get Japanese youth to fuck drafts them all into life or death situations and forces them into close proximity mixed gender housing.

I am under no surprises that if you served in the military you could probably get Japan to offer an exclusively rare pokemon or whatever to service members. And it would actually work (in America too).

As far as tariffs, I hope this is the final extension, no more kicking the can. Make them hurt and make them learn. If they're trying to kiss ass now don't return the calls for a week and really fuck them over, it's just funny how Trump accurately called out what Trudeau is doing in order to retain power.

I trust Armenians less than any other ethnicity. SOAD had a few hits, though.
They're a bunch of merchants, for sure, but their intellectuals tend to just assimilate rather than become cultural underminers. The ones from the former Soviet Union are pretty bad. Organized criminal types and good at it. The ones from the Middle East are just another flavor of Middle Eastern Christians, gold-chained rug-merchants who hate muzzies with a passion and resign themselves to having half-breed grandchildren with Whites and Mexicans with the solace that at least they aren't half-black.

If you want to show an example of a tag without using it, you can use the [plain] tag around the text. It also works for those 8) that sneak into text as 8)

edit: Here's the post saying to use [private] tags around articles outside of A&N if anyone needs a reference to what Gary was saying.

Pretty sure the USA did some sabotage to the Japanese industry in the 80's before they crashed because they feared the nips overtaking them.

Its amazing how much Japan has changed post-WWII. From being the one member of the Axis Powers who were even worses then the Nazi's to where they are now is amazing.

They did.
(Fun fact, in the original Blade Runner, Atari is one of the companies that owns most of the world. This is because they were sure that Japanese industry would take over the world. But they had no idea that Atari was actually a completely American company that picked the name because it sounded Japanese. Which at the time, made people more likely to invest and buy from them.) That's why we should invest heavier in them. They went from a barely above agrarian feudal country to literal industrial powerhouse in like, 20 years after we taught them.
With the ingratiation they have established with us, we could be the top two nations for the rest of history. Provided we keep a close eye on them. But of all the nations that we currently call allies, they seem the least likely to stab us in the back the second they get the chance.
