The funniest thing to me about modern Communists is how "fascism" is their boogeyman despite functionally resulting in the same thing

In Fascism, the corporations overtake the government, becoming a corporatocracy of a merged government and corporations
In Socialism, the government overtakes the corporations, becoming a corporatocracy of a merged government and corporations

They dress up in different ideology and messaging, but ultimately boil down to being the same; absolute power corrupts absolutely and the heads of these types of states become the same people in the end

Maybe, I'm tired. It sounded like you're positing socialism as some sort of positive thing. That's a very bad move to open with and has to be stomped out entirely.
I mean, on paper it sounds amazing but in reality it's not true. And I live in reality. There's absolutely no way that socialism or communism can work for as long as humans have free will. (Basically if you think it actually has a real chance and you support it you're brain dead).

But I was talking about polticial philosophy which requires you to suspend reality for a little bit.

It's the same 'planned market economy' thing that nobody really understands now, but these DSA types want it so bad, but was done over and over in places and led to total collapse. People that think it's a good idea need to be fedpostsed.

That's what happened to China. The CCP has long ditched any talk of class equality and a planned economy in favor for Han nationalism and state overseen corporations. If CCP changed their name and ditched the commie symbols do you think ANTIFA types would be against them?

no I got that. I was just referencing an argument I heard a bunch, back in the 2000s. People used to get on bush for spending the surplus, not realizing it wasnt a surplus and not realizing a lot of the economic success was due to, apparently, Newt.
Also something something, welfare reform is due to Newt.

Honestly we need a good legislator in congress, like him. Im not seeing it. I had respect for Nancy Pelosi, even though I hated her policies, because she could bully and get things done.
another thing Newt did that boosted the GOP was to make every race national. before ticket splitting was a lot more common, but by tying every democrat to the national party you can boost turnout for your side via fearmongering. it was a political masterstroke to breathe life into the party. some will say it led to the crazy partisanship of today but I believe it was just accepting what was already happening anyway.

Fun fact: the libtard in charge of DHS deportation numbers resigned over Trump’s “war on immigrants” today. It is very likely he was deliberately underreporting the stats to demoralize people.

Whiny little Obama holdover bitch. I'll bet he still says shit like "reality has a liberal bias" and wets himself with fear when he sees a tiki torch.

That’s the fake socialist definition of fascism that they created to distance their ideology from the Holocaust. In reality, fascism is just another name for socialism where the government overtakes the corporations; it was not a corporatocracy.

Mussolini described fascism as “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State”. Does that sound like a government ruled by corporations to you?
