Isn't he the one who does non-union movies? That's probably why.
He tried to open up studios in Napa valley, and the locals wouldn't let him do that, so instead he went for low income housing there as revenge.
He tried to open up a digital media facility in SF and the fuckin democrats sandbagged him, so he abandoned that and went somewhere else.
He developed the digital cinema camera and the studios got together to say he was trying to kill film, then they killed film and everyone uses the camera/post production tech he helped create.

George was always ahead of the curve, and no one was left unpunished who came to his aid, even though he was nominally "on the right side of history".
He, like Roddenberry had to manipulate the executives to retain rights, and then used them to expand instead of just beat a dead horse.
He's the perfect example of a guy who wants to make films realizing that Hollywood is a layer cake of retarded executives, theater kids, art hoe students, and the prideful unions who all get in the way.
The irony is all of his ethos is about democracy, common myth, being a good person, the republic are the good guys, etc...
But in reality he is more like a King. The type of guy that is beset on all sides by pseuds who can't appreciate what he's doing.
It's so fucking funny to see that in the modern age you could see him as this Napoleonic or Trumpian figure.
Best believe when he dies every star wars or indiana jones fan will be immortalizing him as this maverick emperor of cinema while he gets thrown under the bus by browntarded leftists for "having too many white people in the OT" or "appropriating cultures in the prequels" or "racist jar jar".

His biggest problem was he was surrounded by yes man, and had no solid consigliere that could help him where his sensitive blind spots were, and it was exclusively the minutiae stuff like individual scene direction, or script refinement.
He needed a Nicholas Pileggi like Scorsese had. He needed a Neumeier like Verhoeven had.
The original Star Wars is the blueprint for American exceptionalism from the postwar period in the film sense, while the PT is the birth of a new age. All stories about the change in what Hollywood did go through him, like how the history of the 1900s goes through Hitler.
The story of making star wars is reflected in every modern american leader of any class. Hes like Howard Hughes. Whether its people doubting Trump or Musk on everything, while they land rockets on the moon or steal narco-presidents from their beds, there is this type of successful guy that will always be hated or reviled by the jealous and avaricious.
No one believed in him or what he was doing until it happened, and then they immediately went back to doubting afterward. He's a great man of film history, and a mythic hero of it. But people have no attention span for it.
There are so many things that he did that people take for granted or don't know that he did, and it was just because he wanted to make his vision real. The American dream in a nutshell.

I wrote the first film.
With nobody to tell you "No don't do that".

I personally funded two of the three films and had to use my own money to finish the first film.
After seeing it, I don't blame studios for not funding you.

I rewrote the second film almost entirely from scratch because the script was terrible.
How much worse could it have been?! Lmao

I started my own special effects company because the special effects industry in Hollywood was full of foppish morons.
I got nothin. The effects were pretty damn cool. You went overboard with them and the edits don't help that narrative.

This isn't even shocking. Literally any summer camp in the 2000s had a "riflery" activity where they would let kids that age shoot .22s under supervision.

And according to that they're just using Air rifles, i got to shoot actual gunpowder rifles and my uncle let me shoot his handgun on his farm even before that. This was all in a left wing town.

Reddit tier leftists really do have this idea that letting a kid exist in the presence of a gun means you're about to send them to go fight in a fucking war (which in reality only africans do). It's absurd.

What other series of six or more movies has as consistent lore and worldbuilding as OT+PT? The Flash Gordon serials? The original Planet of the Apes series?
Also the PT had another point of redemption in retrospect with how Hayden played Anakin. He got criticized for acting stiffly and talking stilted, but it was an intentional choice, to mimic Vader's cadence--it's the same man behind the mask.

Also was brilliant casting on Lucas' part with Ian McDiarmid, who he could put in old age makeup for ROTJ, then be the perfect age to play Palpatine younger in the Prequels (which Lucas said in the 80s he would do in the 90s).

I agree episodes I and II have a bunch of problems but episode III is just straight up good.

But I grew up with the prequels so my perspective on them is quite warped. I’m like 90% sure that childhood prequel overexposure made me into a lolbert.

I think all the Harry Potter movies were pretty good.

Trump crying about the Nobel will never not be funny.

I still don't understand why he even gives a shit about the Nobel to begin with. These are the same people that actively work against him, and yet he wants acknowledgement from them? It doesn't make sense. I mean, I get that he has an ego the size of fuckin' Jupiter, but holy fuck, dude. Why do you care?

It is a love-hate relationship between the establishment and the outliers, its why you see so many Hollywood rejects Conservatives try to "own" Hollywood by creating slop to "resist" or someshit. Trump continually gets pissed on but deep down wants nothing more to be acknowledges by the ones doing the pissings, as opposed to doing the logical thing and brushing them off

This is also why I didn’t like The Hobbit movies. It feels way too different tonally from The Lord of the Rings to the point it doesn’t even feel like it’s in the same universe
The Hobbit was doomed from the start, when the studio insisted it be made into a trilogy. A single movie would have been infinitely better.

The old money establishment has been shitting on him since the 70's. The man's been a butt of their jokes for 5 decades now. He's looking for respect.

I watched episode I in theaters with the four kids. It is one of those films that is a lot more fun in a theater than at home. I can’t explain it fully but the theater format fits it well. It just loses a lot on a smaller screen.
Honestly, Vance has done a better job aping Trump's demagoguery than anyone else, but the thing is, I don't know if we can trust who he is. Outwardly, he's done a good job learning from Trump, but I suspect inwardly he may just be a neocon waiting his turn to revert the party back to how it was before Trump.

Rubio's the same thing. Rubio's really come into his own under Trump's leadership, but he could easily just being waiting for his chance to in power and revert things back to how they were. I actually think he's a much bigger risk in this regard than Vance.

To be honest I don't really trust any of our guys to keep the status quo, except Hegseth, Miller and Gabbard.
My first choice would be Miller. I’m ok with Vance or Rubio. Rubio could have kicked Trump when he was down and when a lot of people thought he was finished. That being said I’m glad that De Santis outed himself as a fag. I like Rubio a tad more than Vance but only because Cubans are massive hawks especially in Latin America and with communists. I hope they stay working together regardless of who wins the nomination.

I’m not sold on Gabbard being anything more than a vp.
The Star Wars prequels could have been better, but they were imaginative and well filmed. Not a lot of that going around anymore.
Even subpar films from decades ago are better than most modern films. Also I would rather people roll the dice than sit on their hands.
Found Mr. McCulkin’s alt account…
That’s Caesar McCulkin.
Revenge of the Sith is sort of charming in its' own retarded way.

"Somehow, Palpatine has returned." "THEY FLY NOW" and Leia going full Space Mary Poppins was just retarded.
The sequels are an utter embarrassment. Disney is an ip vampire at this point. 0 imagination. 0 creativity. 0 effort. Sad.
Fuck that, Warhammer 40k!
Based.
it is incredibly fun to bait them and see them sperg out, especially since stud is there now and is convinced there's a jewish conspiracy behind kf
Thanks for the brunette tomboy wife by the way. I’ll make sure to upvote all your posts and never miss highlighting @Mr. Racewar1488 posts ever again.
