B1's main issue are quality/lack of spares and the air force fucking around with fixing that problem. The b52 is just the ugly contractor truck/van of the fleet. It's not perfect but it can be fixed relatively easily, has a ton of space to fuck around with and put new tech like revolving bomb and cruise missile racks. The B1 is almost like a sports car, cool as hell, fast as fuck, and expensive at the mechanic.
