When I say Clinton sold us out to China, I mean he quite literally took money from China (IIRC it was about $2m in campaign funds) in exchange for doing things that objectively harmed America's global and national interests.

I don't think you really understand how much of our government's legal system is funded by traffic stops. If manual driving were banned, we're facing an entire restructuring and likely shutdown, of a vast portion of the entire justice system.
You say that like it's a bad thing. If what is shutdown and restructured only existed to prosecute, jail and fine DUI's and traffic stops, then the remaining infrastructure of law enforcement should be leaner, more efficient and highly effective without the distractions caused by the rest.
