I was surprised to look this obscure band up and find out they actually were a Chilean band from the '60s, because they reminded me of Nouvelle Vague, a concept band that mostly does covers of New Wave era songs in a bossa nova style, and is a contemporary French band.

This should give you an idea of the general concept:
