Yeah, I couldn't get into The Witcher 3 at all, either. It just does not feel good to play, and I've never cared for high fantasy universes, anyway. I have no clue how it's so immensely popular. Geralt is as autistic as J.C. Denton but lives in a universe where he's considered a God-tier chad, despite carrying around two swords because double your sword = double your coolness, I guess? It's why I never bought RDR2. I played though all the first one and it had a lot of content in it.. but I was pretty meh about it throughout. It's got everything about an open world I would want and I just couldn't give a shit about it.
Same thing with Witcher 3. I tried literally a good 6-10 times of putting the first hour or so into it and ended up turning it off and deleting it again.
And then I tried just riding around on the horse, wandering off and at least enjoying exploring the world, but I guess I'm limited to a tiny chunk of the map until who knows how long and I just wanna treat it more like Breath of the Wild, because lord knows I'm not having fun with the storyline.
I really wish I liked this game. Including soundtracks, an entire comic book, a pretty damn nice 500mb artbook, all kinds of stuff for fans of the games just right there in the folder is great. I love that kinda stuff when I get into a game, but I don't get to enjoy it because I don't enjoy the game, damn it.
