Unpopular opinions about food

Not Mine. My Mom's: She fucking hates Stake and Shake and refuses to buy their shakes. She also despises Checker's "greasy" burgers. Actually, burgers in general. And she hates thick chicken breasts
And if she makes meat, she refuses to eat it. She's also very finicky on her meat: It ALL has to be well done.

She also refused to eat rice and beans due to a woman eating it with her bare hands until pregnant with me.

• Cake is gross (exception: cheesecake)
• Churros are mediocre
• Grapes are the worst common fruit
• Majority of seafood is shit
• Under-ripe bananas taste better than "fully ripe" bananas
• French food is extremely disappointing, most European countries have better cuisine
French new-American is the bomb my man

Enlightened Medium Rare Centrist is the best
That part is a popular opinion, and more or less correct. I make exceptions for tartare and black-and-blue (charring the outside while leaving the inside nearly raw), but only occasionally. Really, though, in general, there's a reason we cook meat and it's to make it easier to absorb the nutrients in it. If you eat it raw you're really not going to metabolize it efficiently. Cook it too much and you burn the nutrients out of it, though.

That said, sometimes I overcook or undercook it and don't mind. Anything in the rare to medium band is at least going to be edible. That said I think you're right that the "it's fucking RAW" band is just as bad as well.

I don't like mangos. I think they taste like dirt.

Also don't like marshmallows. They smell dope but taste awful.

I don't get the sweet and savory thing unless it's a honey baked ham, And I don't even eat pork like that.

Last thing. I don't understand why people get so grossed out when they find out their favorite fast food place doesn't make everything from scratch. If it's a chain restaurant, of course they're going to cut corners. If you want Panera Bread macaroni and cheese for $6, don't be surprised if it's made off site and comes delivered vaccuum sealed in a bag. You're surprised that Taco Bell rehydrates their beef and beans for tacos? I don't see how you can be if you expect to get $1 tacos at 1am. If you're really that pressed about your food being reheated, eat at family owned restaurants, research where you're going or make your own food.

Última edición:
Dilberitos should be brought back on the market, if only for nostalgia/comedic value.

Iceberg lettuce is utter trash and is only used by povo assholes in salads because "fancy" lettuce is too expensive.

People who hate certain foods when their bad cooking practices are the cause. I.E: Overcooking Pasta, Not paying attention at all to your food as it cooks or just setting everything to "high" and then complaining their cooking is shit.

Indian food in general. Their spices were only there to make rotting meat palatable and have no real place in modern day.
