To be fair, the spider themed monsters are as nasty as the normal ones.

It's always the quiet ones. Fortunately, with no magic, she was quite limited on the harm she can cause.
Noelle is enough of a gun-nut to know what Hollow Points are. (I mean seriously, how many teenage girls actually know what a Hollow Point is?) (This also in a roundabout way confirms the existence of guns)
Also, the only competent police officer that could stop her from say, breaking into the police station and stealing whatever guns they have was kidnapped by the Mystery Nigga itself.
She's clearly been planning for a while.

This has probably been discussed to hell and back, but d'you think the reason Asgore and the others can't read his notes are because you supposedly can't read anything in a dream? The Dark World does feel a bit like wish fulfillment.
It's possible, but I think Ralsei would've said that "writing can't be read in the dark world" if it's true.

The best theory I have seen on it was that Friend was so involved with the creation of the original dark world that it caused the notes to get scrambled up. If you call back to chapter 4, the Roots room that lead to the egg room had that Pink+Gold organ npc that said a scrambled up phrase along the lines of "the children followed the pointed tail into the forest", which infered Friend. So, Friend may have some kind of ability like scrambling words to throw people off its trail.

When does she mention hollow points again? I don't recall that part.

This is an idyllic town written by a leftist writer, the type of people who considers all guns le bad, so I would be surprised if this town had anything better than tasers. Besides, the fish lady was randomly strong enough to benchpress cars, and Sussie is also very physically strong for no apparent reason*, so the psycho deer would be eventually overwhelmed.

*Maybe Boss Monsters are still a thing? It's unclear how many elements from UTale had been carried over, and with 2 chapters left it will be a tight fit to explain why some monsters are better than others.

During the time Susie and Kris are at her house together. That's her internal dialogue too, so she's autistic enough about guns that it's not even performative, she just thinks that way.
Noelle could also steal her mom's samurai sword as a back-up weapon if there are no guns.

Right. Once the game is fully complete, I might replay it one last time, checking everything, as between chapters it's easy to miss/forget stuff due to how damn long they take, nevermind subtle rewrites (or blatant ones). For one, I bet that the OG Knight was something very different to what we got.

Noelle could also steal her mom's samurai sword as a back-up weapon if there are no guns.
Yeah, that could work, Still a melee weapon though. I'm sure Asgore could put her on ice with a single punch, if he's around.
Oh well, it's an hypothetic either way.

I count the soul's influence as magic.
Speaking of: I checked a video of the sword route in chapter 3 to refresh my memory. Killing your fellow party members seems to be a must, as talked here already. Noelle may or may not survive her transition (heh) to the other side as well, as she's "used up" while crossing.

Does Noelle being afraid of mice mean that she's racist in-universe
Yes.

I've also heard some theories that her fear of mice, a big part of the cyber-world puzzles where the mice are literal computer mice, is a bit of classic toby double-meaning wordplay that she also has a fear of computer mouse cursors, which, coincidentally, would look a lot like the end of a Pointed Tail. One that can cause people to act in their world by selecting choices for them. A lot of her fears seem to be linked to whatever happened to Dess too. And as we see, Noelle copes with fear by getting used to and actually trying to enjoy it. Our cursor in the game is, of course, the soul.

I think I understand why the flower shop's dark world was weird like that. Others have pointed out that Tenna dressed up the Dreemer dark world to cover up whatever was originally there, and maybe it's the same deal with the second half of the level. Flowery, basing his appearance and personality on the animes Asgore watches alone in the dark, used his illusory powers to paint the other half the way he thinks Asgore would want to see it. The first half of the dark world, shaped by Kris's will, was probably inspired by his own feelings of nostalgia being inside his father's flower shop and having time to think about where it all began. Chapter one was only four days ago, but his first adventure with his friends juxtaposed against a store he's spent plenty of time in since childhood, makes it seem more like Kris knows it's coming to a close soon. How much more time could the rest of the game span? A day or two?
