So...have you come to any (VERY, VERY) interesting conclusions about the "Unused" character, yet?

 

[Leakage Current]

I went to check something in the chapter 5 code and found a few things:

* The only item that has any interactions in Side B (weird route) is Bread.
* The shadowed sprites during the weird route beach scene are called 'silo.' Probably a reference to the method of rendering faces as shadowed?
* You are LV5 throughout the chapter, except in the room with the man (egg room). There you are LV1 and your max hp is 90. This is probably consistent with other chapters, but I haven't noticed it before.
* New 'UNUSED' monologue in the code:

I hate to give a copout answer, but it's probably Dess.

Can pretty easily be inferred to mean the events of Ch. 5 Weird Route.
Raise Up Your Bat is a very interesting song, because it also gives a support to prophecy mindfuck theory.

It's really funny that a bunch of brown stinkoids got mad that a man who is autistically trying to make every aspect of the game work in two languages already, taking into account potential double meanings and all that, didn't want to go through the headache of appealing to a bunch of huemonkes that probably speak some level of english anyway and wouldn't appreciate the effort regardless.

I think it makes more sense that animals are treated like lightners and sort of get a new look + powers unique to them (for example, a normal hedgehog getting speed + electric powers, but otherwise staying non-sapient).

Ah, the Sonichu special. Maybe Rals is actually an animal? As for causing the monsters to have a minor existential crisis, well, that's a wasted opportunity to make some jokes, such as Berdly being uncomfortable upon seeing Susie eating meat of some sort.
Can you date Berdly if you picked him up in Chapter 2? It would be preferable to the cuck chair.

replaying chapter 3 to get the egg for my aborted chapter 5 weird route playthrough. not only that, but before the minigame rouxls makes a throuple as you remember, and in the next encounter when you defeat him he says "well, lovers are reunited" and then leaves, getting the food (what he wants) at the end as if its the player allegory.
