I just want to remind people that there was an unused variant of Noelles Cyberworld room, with tables covered in what I can only describe as a shitload of pills
I proceeded to pick up the book I was using as a prop for my laptop, and opened it to a random page on a whim. It turned to the page of the Quaking Aspen (The European Aspen, though it's clonal like the variant found in the USA), and was a book on forests.

The odds that Noelle tried to kill herself and it didn't work so she searched it up on the internet increase.
The odds that Queen was so focused on helping Noelle because she knew this are also now much higher.
also might explain this shit from Queen in the Weird Route:
* Wake? No, She Has Already Awakened Too Much
* Let Her Close Her Eyes And Sleep Away
* Into A Darker, Darker Dream
This conflict doesn't get resolved in this chapter BECAUSE IT'S NOT MEANT TO. It's foreshadowing for chapter 7 where we save hometown from Susie's evil mind-rape.
I think chapter 6 is where we start seeing where this goes. Flowery says that his dark world was going to be that last nostalgic look back at better times for them (meaning chapter 6 is the start of the drama). The credits feel very much like Susie is getting set up for a big challenge that will determine whether she has true conviction with this hero business or if she’s just running away from her problems (hinted at many times by her reluctance to go home, even in this chapter, and her reaction to whatever she saw in chapter 4’s prophecy).
I don't think you understand.
The player wasn't the one doing the raping.
And neither was Kris for that matter.
Noelle's true self is a schizophrenic justified obsessed with power and pushing boundaries (literally, she lives in a cage).
The more I think about it, the more the Weird Route seems to be attempting to get the prophecy back on to its original course, while whatever is altering it tries its best to hamstring it but it can't overcome the power of Determination being used outright.

Something to add onto the Cactus theory here.
Chapter 3 establishes that the Dreemurr residence cactus loves Kris. Though we don't know the name of the Cactus. (Almost as if Kris is deliberately avoiding telling us)
We know that Noelle also has a Cactus that used to be called Krismas (renamed to Tsuntsun by fucking BERDLY) so the odds that both Noelle and Kris named their cactuses after each other are fairly high.
But the curious part is Saber10, a weapon you can get in Chapter 3.
A saber made of 10 cactus needles. Fortunately, can deal more than 10 damage.
that's gotta be toby's way of saying that all that shit is going to have their purposes fulfilled in the next chapter except weird route unless aborting it in ch5 will have some effect in 6 and it's just completely going through with proceeding that leads to side b
that post might as well have been proven correct by 5's weird route. she's fucking losing it and only shows how much she really hates it all once you put the ring on her.
I found this chapter underwhelming, which is somehow worse than bad in a way. It was still solid entertainment, I got my money's worth, I have been decently entertained, had a few sensible chuckles, got the few dark moments I came for but still left with the nigling feel that this chapter could have been so much more. I don't mind the filler, I don't mind the references, I don't mind the callbacks, I don't mind the shipping(faggots and trannies get the rope though) but its the 5th chapter out of 7 total, you'd expect something much more meaty out of it, especially how dark chapter 4 ended and how high expectations were for a depressing, thriller-esque chapter with the heavy, oppressive atmosphere the end of 4 had. I know, its super fucking hard to correctly pull off but still. The entire game had that tragedy feel to it, where despite the funny and quirky adventures everything is building up to a shadowy, looming doom with plots and mysteries and conspiracies everywhere, where you cannot trust anyone, not even your own soul. Being unable to sustain this note when the whole thing is already getting close to wrapping up in favor of a le meymey reference breather episode is an incredible misfortune. This is such a rare flavor and I fucking loved it. I don't expect any other game coming close it and I regret the loss of something delicate and unique, especially just to please reddit trannies.
With only two episodes left to wrap up everything(unless it gets extended, which has a mild but non-zero chance happening, but I wouldn't take more than 50mg of Hoperexin over it) they need to be extra long, extra deep and extra good to have a satisfyingly finish it which I just don't think is likely to happen. Strange, but the games still feel like if they are just one big, extended prologue, that they are just starting to set things up and the real meat of the adventure is only beginning. If they are still setting up more and more mysteries that will come together in satisfying ways, vastly exceeding our expectations, that we will learn who is Friend, what happened to Papyrus, the Gaster follower things, the bunker under the town and so on. Asgore was expected by everyone to be a much larger, much more meaningful character, we expected to learn things and it was just a wet fart. Everything is getting drawn out and ends too suddenly at the same time. And while vagueposting is fun when you are wholly invested in the story and expecting payouts for the effort of making sense, it becomes INCREDIBLY grating once that investment deflates even a little and you are suddenly jolted out of the whole thing. The flow is gone, the mood is gone and now you just want to see it wrap up and go do the next media Chara style, rather than wanting it to last forever.
But we learned about 'The Incident' that occured to "that person" on "that day" Kris, the one that did "that thing" that made everyone think that Asgore was blaming himself for "the incident" that occured on "that day" and now "that former police chief" wants to find "that culprit" so he can parade "their body" around "that town"!
OK but jokes aside, this chapter was the origin point for my schizophrenic Evil Susie theory.
This is the correct way, the nothing can be eternal style of going about things. Chara was a shithead that wanted to kill everyone, but the conclusion is the same as True Pacifist. Everything needs to end, this is also Frisk's way.
This is the incorrect Susie way of attempting to stretch something out into an eternity so it never ends. (This is the path that Flowey/Asriel wanted to take in Undertale. Where the game would go on forever and ever as he'd reset everything back to 0 so that the game would never end.
It's pretty clear that Susie fucking sharing the same motivation as the final boss of Undertale isn't exactly a good sign, at least to me.
Could be interesting, depending on how it's handled, but equally I can see a lot of troon "le heckin' comfortorino" art about Noelle if that revelation is confirmed. I've seen some of those for Krusie too where Susie is going "stop cutting yourself you stupid goy."
To be fair though I don't actually hate those, they can be sweet.
Also, has anyone seen or made a video theory similar to what Symbol of the Chud has been saying? Ideally if someone did they would actually cite Kiwifarms, but I suspect given the fanbase they would be relucant to. It would be kino if all these theories come true and it gets directly linked to here though, so any video-essayist or "deep-diver" going into the history of the theory they would have to look at this thread and get mentally bvck brvken from it..
If there are no videos of the sort yet then it'd be great if someone here beat them to the punch first for Total Kiwi Victory or something.
Hey now, listen. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but leave some for the rest of us why don'tcha? You can't take all the credit.
Anyway I'm actually quite thankful for this thread because I probably would have continued thinking Deltatrune was hot garbage now (especially since I watched FennekinFox326's Deltarune video a day before chapter 5) but I've actually become genuinely hopeful for the remaining chapters.
You can't get anything like this on 'ddit or tumblr (which I despise for a litany of reasons, least of which being the rampant homosexuality which does my head in everytime I have to bare witness to it) because they're all echochambers that refuse to acknowledge the flaws, or even if they do acknowledge some flaws they're still mind-raped on "enby" Kris or whatever the fuck.

Our glorious Chud, I wanted to ask if you were planning to compile all your arguments for Susie is evil theory anywhere in particular (like in a big post or something like that)
I've been reading this thread for the past days or so and theres so many compelling arguments for the susie-is-evil theory (both in terms of Noelle x Susie being intentionally shit, AND the whole Susie is fucking up the meta-narrative), it'd be great to see them compiled into one big post. I would try myself but I don't think I know as much about it as you do yet.
Also Skies Forever Blue being about a secondary playthrough after one of the characters becomes self-aware and uses that to be more assertive to say she loves the hero is very interesting. (Also the world is literally dying because GBC Carts have shitty batteries)
I'm of a half-mind of how convincing these arguments are. On one hand they seem to make a lot of sense, on the other hand it could just be schizobabble since shit Toby did like 10 years ago doesn't necessarily inform how he's gonna handle the story.
However if theres more of this stuff or other reason to believe its specifically notable, then I think it could be a very good argument
Also, is there any thoughts on who's actually perpetuating the prophecy and the resultant susie fuckery of it? So far I've seen
-Forgotten/Egg-Man is the original god who made the prophecy. Gaster usurped him to write his coal lesbian fanfic, and collecting the eggs/thorn ring/whatever will allow us to fix the world and banish Susie to dykehell. Susie is also maybe a goner or something
-Gaster is the god/prophecy maker/whatever, Susie is some outside entity fucking it up, and Gaster is either curious or opposes Susie
-Something else?
I don't think we have enough info to actually say what is the case yet, but I'd be interesting to see speculation regardless.

And that's why Toby literally can't make the lesbian couple be shown to be toxic. At best he'll go with "we'll be homo in RL, not a fantasy world!" Doing otherwise risks these lunatics to try and kill him, really.
They have done that multiple times to whoever they consider their enemies and gloat about it when succesful.

Don't forget an adaptation having a really shit ending that was your OG idea, then stalling until your death because you have no idea how to finish the work so you instead eternally prey onto your fans.

In before the game ends with most shit unexplained and Toby keeps making special events from time to time to articially ensure the fans' interest (and have them buy his stuff). This is why he'll never release the anniversary stream edition from UT, because he won't be able to exploit otherwise.
