I proceeded to pick up the book I was using as a prop for my laptop, and opened it to a random page on a whim. It turned to the page of the Quaking Aspen (The European Aspen, though it's clonal like the variant found in the USA), and was a book on forests.
The idea that some hidden cosmic force is guiding kiwifarmers into unraveling the mysteries of deltarune is so hilarious

I just want to remind people that there was an unused variant of Noelles Cyberworld room, with tables covered in what I can only describe as a shitload of pills
The odds that Noelle tried to kill herself and it didn't work so she searched it up on the internet increase.
The odds that Queen was so focused on helping Noelle because she knew this are also now much higher.
also might explain this shit from Queen in the Weird Route:
* Wake? No, She Has Already Awakened Too Much
* Let Her Close Her Eyes And Sleep Away
* Into A Darker, Darker Dream
Queen knowing that Noelle has repressed sociopathic/suicidal tendencies, being a computer, and Noelle being somebody who used computers a lot.

This conflict doesn't get resolved in this chapter BECAUSE IT'S NOT MEANT TO. It's foreshadowing for chapter 7 where we save hometown from Susie's evil mind-rape.
I think chapter 6 is where we start seeing where this goes. Flowery says that his dark world was going to be that last nostalgic look back at better times for them (meaning chapter 6 is the start of the drama). The credits feel very much like Susie is getting set up for a big challenge that will determine whether she has true conviction with this hero business or if she’s just running away from her problems (hinted at many times by her reluctance to go home, even in this chapter, and her reaction to whatever she saw in chapter 4’s prophecy).

I take full personal responsibility for every single time a player has raped Noelle.
I don't think you understand.
The player wasn't the one doing the raping.
And neither was Kris for that matter.
Noelle's true self is a schizophrenic justified obsessed with power and pushing boundaries (literally, she lives in a cage).

The more I think about it, the more the Weird Route seems to be attempting to get the prophecy back on to its original course, while whatever is altering it tries its best to hamstring it but it can't overcome the power of Determination being used outright.

Should have listened to the prophet, nothing good was ever gonna come out of this game.
It's over. Trannies won.

Deltarune = Game of Thrones.
  • Have a grand story idea all leading up to a twist ending.
  • Create a spiderweb of characters to fill in a massive world
  • Write it in chapters with years between each, adjusting course along the way.
  • Everyone can guess the ending through the breadcrumbs, and fans become tired of the fluff and just want the core story.
  • The story repeats itself in its length, and the grand ending becomes a wet fart by the time it comes out.
I don't know what's better though, giving up on trying to finish the story, or hiring a team of perverts to fill in the blanks for you.

Something to add onto the Cactus theory here.
Chapter 3 establishes that the Dreemurr residence cactus loves Kris. Though we don't know the name of the Cactus. (Almost as if Kris is deliberately avoiding telling us)
We know that Noelle also has a Cactus that used to be called Krismas (renamed to Tsuntsun by fucking BERDLY) so the odds that both Noelle and Kris named their cactuses after each other are fairly high.
But the curious part is Saber10, a weapon you can get in Chapter 3.
A saber made of 10 cactus needles. Fortunately, can deal more than 10 damage.
Here are the interactions from attempting to give it to the other party members.
  • "Nah, I'd snap it." [When attempting to equip it to Susie]
  • "You want to... pierce my ears...?" [When attempting to equip it to Ralsei]
  • "I'm not against using it, but..." [When attempting to equip it to Noelle]
Finally the overworld cactus spine it turns into has the check:
Ouch! ... It's somewhat sentimental in a way
It's also quite curious that Noelle says she's not against using it even if she can't equip it, unlike Susie, who rejects all swords outright.
