A lot of the dialogue was repetitive to the point it almost felt like an AI was writing it. Yeah I get it whatever, "Very, very interesting" is a Gaster meme, it doesn't however make it seem like it was written by the hand of a human when it feels like every fucking character keeps saying it.
Why the hell do the flowers keep making references to The World Revolving? One of Jevil's gimmicks is just directly referenced by Ralsei or Susie too, if I'm not losing it. Some bizarre nothing burger given to Jevil fags?

Evil Susie Trvkers will literally make the twitter trannies kill themselves.
They can't handle that level of schizo energy if a wholly accurate post about Noelle based on a grand total of (0 fucking assumptions) was enough to make their little tranny minds tremble. I wonder if this faggot hung himself when the Ferris Wheel, Hammer Game and King and Queen vote revealed that Noelle does indeed still have repressed feelings for Kris.
Only in the insane mind of somebody who has surrounded himself with faggots would "Repressed Heterosexuality" ever be a thing, why, Robert?

I'm genuinely curious how this qualifies as a "right wing" interpretation. Outside of the Aids joke and calling Kris a he this is identical to a hundred other posts I've seen about the game even in pozzed communities.

I realized that of all the flowers, the ones that are thems are "Seth" and "Green"

What did Toby mean by this?
Nothing, because Seth is actually named after a secondary character in Illusion of Gaia. It's confirmed by the fact that she's called Morris in the Japanese script, which was also the Japanese name of that Illusion of Gaia character. It's just another random SNES JRPG reference.

Deltarune fans when you say that a character is CIS and STRAIGHT:

Deltarune fans when exposed to the concept that Noelle ISN'T actually trying to kill herself (like xey are wont to do) and is ACTUALLY as "evil" as she is in the Weird Route naturally.

(For real though, I don't feel like enough people are paying attention to the fact that a mysterious force prevented Kris and Noelle from dying during Ch. 5 Aborted Weird Route where they drown in the lake. If Noelle is really as unhinged and sick of her life as Weird Route makes her out to be, I really wouldn't be surprised if she has tried to kill herself before only to mysteriously fail.)

Mildly annoyed Toby went with using the flowers to showcase the previous 6 souls. Feels too much like pointless fanservice even though yes....what other reason to have that exact flowers in jars assets at th Flwoer shop other than to do exactly what he endend up doing.

However, letting some bullshit artists just put their self insert in his game quite embarrassing, at least in Undertale people had to pay for the privilege.

it would've been better if this chapter was a bit of a revision on why Asgore likes his family so much. Other posters commented that a few of the flower's personalities were reasonably close parallels to the Dreemurr and Holiday family members, i.e. Aqua being obviously Kris and Flowery being Rudy.

I'd even dare put forward other associations:
- Yellow and Blue being Asriel and Dess, super in love to each other
- Seth being Noelle, the nerdy kid that's always near Kris
- Green is Toriel with the cooking/nurturing theme
- and I guess Orange could be Karol....? The point being Karol sounds more threatening that she actually is....maybe?

That little climbing tower part where somehow asgore is rejecting all the flowers should've been more direct parallels to how Asgore pushed all his real fams away.

Alternatively an explanation as to why/how Kris was adopted (since we're in a """"human"""" world) would've also be welcome. Gets some nice metaphors about seeking the truth (about their biofam/break the game) or accepting what's in front of you (fully loving your adopted family/"Kris should do Kris things").

This kinda fell flat for me because the Soul isn't Kris.
Though at the very least, it was Asgore portrayed in at least a more neutral light than the fucking soul destroyer that is "Eggs-husband."
Hey mate, just wanted to say you have single-handedly convinced me that Toby Fox will lynch the niggertrannyfaggot in chapter 7 before he ends the story by confirming Kris was a man, Ralsei was being groomed, Noelle loved Kris but was mind-raped by Susie, and that the weird route was morally righteous actually. Thank you for the cope.

Also as someone else said (I've been lurking for a bit) this is the actual only forum I've seen for deltatroon discussion that isn't infested with gay retards (not to be mistaken with the retards in this thread, who are at the very least not gay)

My biggest problem with the six flower characters is that they just serve to be Undertale references. Their character designs literally only make any sense if you've fought Nightmare Flowey. An object turning into its darkner counterpart always has a logical through line except for them. Why would an orange flower turn into a mouse with a boxing glove? Why would different colored flowers symbolize different virtues? Uhhh because it's an Undertale reference. For as much shit as people give blue he's literally the only one with a flower motif in his design (still terrible). Them being "neither lightners nor darkners" is a cop out when they are functionally identical to darkners in every way we've seen.

I do not believe any of them other than Flowery were designed by Toby he was probably too busy beating his meat to his yuri fanfiction to write anything else for this chapter.
Even in the best case scenario where Toby reveals that all the bad writing around Susie (not caring about the prophecy, cucking Kris, making Noelle enter the darkworld but ignoring Berdly who is infinitely more equipped, everyone wanting to suck Susie's cock, Noelle falling head over heels for Susie and Susie wanting to fuck Noelle for no discnerable reason) was aktually intentionally done to be subverted in chapter 7, chapter 5 still has massive issues.

Specifically, there was so much potential for chapter 5 being an interesting dissection of Asgore and Kris' relationship, as well as Kris as a whole. For instance, Kris was the one who made the dark world. Dark worlds anthropomorphize the subconscious of the creator or whatever, so the dark worlds should meaningfully reflect the creator. So when I was playing chapter 5 I was thinking "ok we're gonna get an interesting glance into Kris's psychology," and everything seemed to be building to that.
-All the flowers are dedicated to keeping Asgore away from his family, Kris specifically.
-The flowers all see themselves as "human," but they're in hometown where everyone besides Kris are monsters, so shouldn't they want to be monsters? Yes I know it's a fucking reference to Undertale but references still need to make sense within the story.
-Flowery also has a weird relationship with Kris. He told Susie about the shelter code AWAY from Kris and told her not to tell anyone else about it, AND he has a forboding dialogue early on where he says "you know how I feel about you, don't you?" Which makes it seem like Flowery has some specific animosity against Kris

So I'm thinking "oh ok, so all of this is set up for something to do with Kris psychologically. Maybe Kris hates himself and sees himself as unworthy of being in his family, or maybe Kris resents Toriel for leaving Asgore, or maybe Kris blames himself (cuz he's implicated with Dess' disappearance in some way), or maybe Kris wishes there were more humans around him, or anything."

But we get to the end of the chapter and it meaned exactly dick. Toby had an entire chapter of filler that was meant to be dedicated to Asgore (KRIS' DAD) and all Asgore got was ~11 minutes of screentime where he gives a big expository rant at the end of the chapter (revealing nothing the player didn't already know) whilst somehow changing his entire outlook on life (Deltatroon consistently has an issue with this. Ralsei did it, Berdly did it, Tenna did it, Noelle did it but the verison in the weird route chapter 5 was fine, etc)

Best case scenario you could argue Kris not having his original soul means the dark worlds he make are just "generic" (which may also be the reason his dark worlds are the same as the knight's, unlike Susie's which is different), but that still means Toby effectively wrote himself out of an interesting dark world. Also theres still no excuse for raping Asgore that hard.

So even if Toby fox un mind-rapes Noelle or Susie or whatever, the chapter is still fucked.

The argument that Susie has some unique control in the story is interesting, but at the same time Deltarune consistently has gag moments which don't make sense, like:
-Ralsei turning into a marketable plushie
-Ralsei also being able to ignore certain fighting/heal by himself in the Flowery fight
-Flowery being able to mess with stats and abuse mechanics
-Gerson being able to recruit, dodge, and abuse mechanics
-Knight with swoon and probably some other nonsense

I wanna believe but it's equally likely that Toby is a hack who was cucked in real life and developed a lesbian fetish as it is that he's playing the long game and going to kek heartily when the fanbase troons out about Susie being le heckin' evilorino and not wholesome 100

I feel they're actually more supposed to be Asgore himself and Toriel if anything, since Yellow is obviously from Asgore's love of cowboy stuff. No comment on Blue's interpretation of how to represent stories of Toriel.

Green and Orange might be Asriel and Dess in a roundabout way. Like Asriel is kind of a soft boy himself, and Tenna mentioned he watched cooking shows with Kris and tried to cook things. And Dess would be talked about as being tough and brave, leading to Orange trying to be that.

>Blue is meant to represent Toriel
>Kris, the creator of the Dark World, makes her manifest as a Niggerfaggot
I guess that he really was more upset by that Sans thing than he let on.

that's why i believe that in chapter 6 your choices are going to start to matter fucking hard. aborted weird route could do something, if you get the thornring OR keep it equipped by aborting it in the lake. thornring quest, shadowcrystal quest and egg quest ending is probably the main gimmick of the chapter.

oh and, why does the game marks chapter 5 progression save file with _b after completing the weird route? you don't save on the ch5 weird route isn't it?
