My own thoughts are that Rudy is the knight, Kris made a deal to give his soul to Carol and Rudy to help recover Dess, and they did something to give Rudy the knight powers. That eye inside his chest when he roars I believe is Kris's morphed soul.

I mean if we're working on Undertale Rules, they wouldn't need to do anything to Rudy if he was given Kris' soul. We know from the Waterfall stuff in UT that a Monster with a Human Soul looks like an abomination and is extremely powerful, and we have confirmation of that considering that Asriel+Chara looked freakish enough that the humans on the Surface attacked on sight. (All while Chara was fucking seething that Asriel was being a bitch. 'Fight back, nigga, fight back!')
Hell, Omega Flowey might not be a monster, but he's the in universe equivalent of a non-euclidean lovecraftian entity.
God of Hyperdeath Asriel only gets away with looking however he feels like looking because 7 human souls is enough to basically be omnipotent and look like whatever he wants.
The most frustrating part of Deltarune is not knowing how much stuff that applies for Undertale is true for Deltarune. Though given Gaster Bird's "G" slip up, I'm willing to bet the connections are deeper than most people think.

I'm sure it's been pointed out before, but Dess Holiday is way too close to Tess Holliday for my brain to unlink the two. I have to actively unthink of the plus-sized model.

The hour is late... and another schizo vision is coming to me.
The Chapter 6 Dark World seems to be extremely likely to be in Noelle's house.
Plantners (for lack of a better word) seem to have some sort of connection to existing people. (Aqua seems to have some relation to a young Kris, Flowery is Rudy, the others are up for discussion, though it's possible that Yellow may have actually been Asgore's personality, stemming from his attempts to punish himself for something that wasn't his fault in pursuit of justice.)
In Noelle's room, it's revealed that there is a Cactus called "Tsuntsun" (it was renamed by Berdly) that was originally called "Krismas"
In Chapter 3, the Cactus that was in Kris' house was extremely infatuated with him, but didn't have the bravery to speak with him directly. (The implication is that the Chapter 3 Cactus has a name associated with Noelle).
Chapter 6 may well include a Tsundere Kris Plantner that tries to fuck up Noelle's relationship with Susie in favor of getting her with Kris.

asgore knows the police's shelter code, undyne might too. no idea why alvin hasn't been swept away, or carol. well, maybe she'll get got by the end of chapter 6. although that does make it a bit odd, why try and take toriel? does she know the church's code? was the RK looking for alvin at church when chapter 4 went down?

Catti is into 'occult' stuff, susie mentions that kris tried to summon a demon. i believe this demon to be friend, because of the connection between SMILE item in the vending machine from ch3 and the hidden text labeled "demon" in undertale's files. and also because catti seemingly imitates friend's look. THIS IS HUGE because it would mean that 'occultism' is actually against the fucking prophecy, and that friend could be an inside agent of the one who left the leftovers (thornring) in a dumpster.
