Why is there so much unused content that is seemingly fully functional/relatively complete just...not in the game? I don't mean deliberately unused content like the "UNUSED" text dumps (must be the thoughts of the Soul/Vessel) I mean stuff that would make Deltarune feel a bit better to play.
Probably because this chapter was rushed?
At this point it seems silly to deny it especially with it being a complete nothingburger chapter this late into the game.

That is a deranged amount of referencing to prove the gender of what's clearly a dude. It's as tall as the paragraph next to it lmfao.

So it's not gay as long as you don't like it for its personality.
Mad Dummy Ghost may be female in Deltarune. There’s a scene in an earlier chapter when you knock on their door and MD hints had having a crush on Asgore.

So the Most Divorced Man got cucked a second time, and you were the one who cucked him.

Earthbound was made in 5 years on a computer that measured its system storage in mb and the amount of RAM was "yes". Tobys game is going on 7 years(looking like 9 to 10 total) on modern equipment. The only reason he would be "rushing" is if he is doing it all in month 11 of twelve each year. Writing, story boarding, scripting and sprite work shouldn't take a professional that long unless he's deliberately procrastinating or dragging ass to make this fandom last as long as possible.

It could be he simply doesn't care anymore and it has just become a money vehicle. He works on other projects while "consultants" ghost write it and produce it with little of his input. I've seen the same thing happen with projects like this but they tend to either burn out altogether or get their shit together.

According to the games files, surviving the lake does not count as an abort. I think if the games in a state where you do this Noelle will just lose her shit again in ch6 when Susie takes her to castle town and she realises it was all real
There are too many variables in the way the game can have played out up to this point: no weird route, aborting after getting the freeze ring but before getting the thorn ring, aborting after getting the thorn thing but before freezing Berdly, aborting in chapter 4, and aborting in chapter 5. Each one feels like it would deserve a different level of reaction from Noelle upon discovering her dream was real. While I do think that Noelle losing her shit in chapter 6 is the only reasonable way the game can progress in an aborted weird route scenario, I don't think Toby has the writing skills to pull it off in a satisfactory way.

I swear I remember somewhere Toby mentioning a big part of the problem is him having to oversee and review all of their work and approve it and making sure everything is exactly the way he wants it, because of his fucked up wrist. But I'm too lazy to find the tweet or newsletter or wherever where he said this.

Do we know if he's recovered yet or not? If not I could totally see the latest chapter's mediocre quality being due to Toby rushing and not wanting to hold things up anymore, much to the game's detriment. Chapter 4 literally had an admission that he felt he was TAKING TOO LONG basically he's becoming too lenient and not tugging on his tranny slave's leashes enough and it's starting to show.

Something I love about the fact the fan base is full of tumblrites and trannies is that a lot of them feel like doing these evil routes is reflective of a person's actual morals. I've had multiple people block me or call me a rapist for doing the weird route and it genuinely never stops being funny. Brings me back to high school with ut's genocide route and how all the autistic tumblrinas stopped talking to me after offhandedly mentioning the fact I beat sans
And then they wonder why so many people hate the fandom. :story:
If these niggers were born a decade or two earlier instead of trannies they'd be those retarded politicians trying to ban Grand Theft Auto for letting you kill hookers or some shit.

Well, Earthbound also had more than 100 people working on it and was supported by the largest game company in the world at the time, to be fair. I guess Toby must be loaded thanks to the success of undertale, but I don't know if he has that kind of money.

He also doesn’t have a shareholder-mandated timeline to release his game.
