I imagine there will be differences between a regular save and one where you did the WR up to that point. I have heard that the flag for aborting WR gets set if you fail at the lake, but another, previously unused one gets changed, so here's hoping. We might get a sort of WR-lite in the next chapter. Since everything up to that point still happened, and Susie deciding to reveal the Dark Worlds to her might just restart that whole line of thought. Honestly, there's so much left for speculation. Toby could still go ahead and torpedo the yurishipping, it would be peak fiction if went that route. But seeing as he's aligned himself with the kinds of people that like that stuff it probably won't happend. Though I remain adamant that it'd be peak fiction and art if he did do it, and did it well.
Inb4 Noelle powerlevels in front of Susie, and Susie just nopes out.

A bit of a tangent, because I know that there might be someone interested in this info.
In the code and texture files, the WR content uses 'side_b' as the marker for it.

According to the games files, surviving the lake does not count as an abort. I think if the games in a state where you do this Noelle will just lose her shit again in ch6 when Susie takes her to castle town and she realises it was all real

If you look at the unused (or at least not naturally found) Aborted Weird Route dialogue for the Ferris Wheel, I can't imagine how you could ever think anything else:

This is hugely offset by these indieslop narrative-driven games that only take a few hours to play and never get touched again. I'd imagine most total player hours are on shit that has massive long-standing playerbases. Stuff like StarCraft, WoW, FFXIV, MOBAslop, and singleplayer stuff that has replay value(dark souls, witcher, STALKER, etc)

But those games aren't the ones that get these huge fanbases that every other zoomer and 4chan-person(mostly niggercattle) gets enthralled by

Susie could even be something that would meta-wise be like a modded-in character, somebody who was never actually supposed to exist or at least be a party member, but somebody changed the rules of the game to add her in. But that sort of theory would need more work.

Like there's them being the only combination that legit wins the hammer game, but also there's Kris reminiscing about a moment involving Noelle in the past if he's watching the ferris wheel, if you have him write down his and Noelle's names for the King/Queen vote then Noelle will decide to change her vote to Kris instead of Susie ("I still think they deserve to win.") and you can get to ride the ferris wheel with her where she recontextualizes her previous story about riding it with Kris when they were young.

As he brings up, it's strange that with your help as the SOUL, Noelle subtly 180's from being totally enchanted by Susie and starts reconnecting with Kris (even though she still acts like a STUCK UP [runaway roadkill]. This happens in Chapter 2 as well. We know from the weird route that Noelle has always had these thoughts of wanting to break through a false reality. She's seemingly been infatuated with Susie for a long time now. Ya know, Noelle doing Noelle things? It's almost like this distance between her and Kris was never natural and is being enforced by a third party. Plus, why would both of them want Kris to thirdwheel their date? Nothing about the festival makes any sense the more I think about it... That is, unless Susie is actually the bad guy.

Symbol of the Chud is onto something with this theory. We know Catti is connected to summoning Gaster. While I don't think Gaster is the badguy of Deltarune, he might even be our greatest ally in undoing the corruption, this connection cannot be understated and Catti's understanding of the situation is apt. There is something terribly wrong with Susie in particular to warrant this beyond prior bullying.

Yeah. They get a huge popularity boost by algorithm followers, and then they leave because it was flavour of the month dogshit with little substance. Considering the player numbers, there's plenty of orbiters and astroturfing bots. Seems to (mostly) resolve itself.

As for something that's on-topic, just what has changed in this thread while I was gone? The atmosphere is noticeably different. I'd highly appreciate a laconic version of what you've all been discovering, given how this has moved quickly, and how I've mainly been seething over the chapter having insane amounts of queer events (especially that goddamn cuck scene) plus the Steven Universe-like flowers. (only Aqua and Flowery were any good)

Susie is going to ruin everything when the aborted weird route for Ch6 has Susie tell Noelle that "actually, all of it was REAL " and Noelle just loses all interest in her to focus on Kris.

I actually think Ralsei is also working for the Knight and this is just the biggest hidden camera TV show ever produced to make Susie into the hero for "some" reason. The fact that he brings her cake after declaring herself the queen of Town Castle almost as if saying "yes, my queen, here is your cake, we all love you" is super suspcious to me, you'd think he'd be the first one to say: "Susie, we're supposed to be closing the fountains".

Nah, I think it was chapter 5. An asylum is meant for crazy people and that's what Asgore was being with his conspiracies about the dark world and fountains, and at the end he finally gave up on all of it.

Asylum is also for people escaping their countries, after some kind of persecution. Asgore was persecuted for his schizo undertale memories in the light world, so now he's staying in the dark world, in asylum.
