Just discussion about how Susie might secretly be trying to steal Kris' life and schizotheorying the most important theory of all "What if Deltarune was good?"
Her animosity never leaving such that she attempts to steal Kris's role through the prophecy is interesting. I did enjoy how the idea wasn't meaninglessly subverted, only looked at through different angles.

I'm skeptical, because having a gigafaggot + vaguepost king chapter this late is mentally insane, but this could potentially be salvaged.

Asylum is also for people escaping their countries, after some kind of persecution. Asgore was persecuted for his schizo undertale memories in the light world, so now he's staying in the dark world, in asylum.

...by force, from the knight.
It is also, again, a word that literally means the same thing as Shelter. It has many meanings, but an Asylum isn't just meant for madmen, that would traditionally be an "Insane Asylum"
Merriam Webster gives one of the definitions of Asylum as:
Asylum: a place of retreat and security : shelter

Anyway, here's an interesting thought.
I think that Kris during the Chapter 5 Weird Route stops resisting entirely after Noelle's admission that this is literally what she wanted the whole time. "You can't even say 'stop' like you used to!" makes me kinda think that Kris was only furious in Chapter 4 because he was under the belief that Noelle didn't want any of that shit. Sure, you could take it to mean that Kris was just entirely checked out at that point and it was the Soul's voice, but I don't think so... (He holds Noelle's head up above the water by his own accord)
Don't forget that ERAM says:
  • The same part of you that enjoyed yesterday.
  • Knowing you could say it wasn't really you.
During Chapter 3's Secret Boss if you did the Weird Route.

If you look at the unused (or at least not naturally found) Aborted Weird Route dialogue for the Ferris Wheel, I can't imagine how you could ever think anything else: https://youtube.com/watch?v=V9aLPfvzYxYNoelle fucking hates doing Noelle Things.
its crazy, some of this dialogue some of the implications, its almost as if Noelle might actually have a character when outside of the lesbian gravity well, if only we got some of this before the FINAL CHAPTERS.

I know fandom wikis aren't WP, but it's something those people should consider.
Honestly, the whole need for them to even do that could be considered a kind of meta joke/commentary.
We know why they feel the need to do that, they know why they feel the need to do that. But we don't know for certain why Kris is specifically referred to as a they/them.
If it turns out it isn't because Kris is an enby, then it'll shatter that image and all of those citations will be pointless and funny to look back on.

I honestly wonder if that "The flower man, trapped in asylum." part was referring to Flowery in his container or just Asgore being taken to the shelter.
The actual intended meaning is probably very obvious in hindsight, as with most of the foreshadowing in the game.
The song during the Flowery battle has lyrics that seem to refer to him as the Flower man, and the prophecy panel has Asgore with a crown reaching towards a flower, presumably Flowery.
It could also be Toby being clever and referring to both at the same time.

This makes me think of the throuple scene in Chapter 3. Because if we were to apply this logic to Chapter 5, Susie would be the instigator, right?

If none of the choices matter such that there is one ending, Kris and Noelle may connect at the end in either route.

as if Kris isn’t literally working with the Knight since the beginning, and has facilitated the kidnapping of Undyne, his father, and an attempted kidnapping on his mother. And Ralsei clearly has at least some idea that it’s going on.
I dunno, if Kris was working with the Knight why would he ask Seth to break them out of jail?
Wouldn't it make more sense to keep them stuck in jail so the Knight can get there and kidnap Asgore?
Part of me thinks there's 4 teams at play with their own agenda.
1. Susie and Ralsei
2. The Knight and Carol
3. You
4. Kris

I personally enjoy the idea that Susie is indeed Roulx Kaard-ing the destined romance between Noelle and Kris because it's entered a rough patch and she thinks she can make a move.

Why is there so much unused content that is seemingly fully functional/relatively complete just...not in the game? I don't mean deliberately unused content like the "UNUSED" text dumps (must be the thoughts of the Soul/Vessel) I mean stuff that would make Deltarune feel a bit better to play.

We never actually corrupted Noelle, she was just always like that. She simply felt powerful enough to drop the mask now.
She was forced to do increasingly heinous things and kill a friend of hers (later retconned into being comatose). I expected a bit more of animosity from her, but it's unclear if the lake episode is part of that too, or not.

I heard from my grandmother that the youth are tuning out of the internet. Anecdotally, I see it too.
That would mean the Discord insanity isn't a thing, but sadly that's not the case.

So we all agree we're probably going to have to go down the "Kris has to beat the shit out of Susie, Ralsei and all the other Darkners" route yeah?

I wish Toby had the guts of FFTA. The MC in that one was shameless enough to attack his friends into leaving this world or else, then guiltrip his formerly wheelchair-bound younger brother into leaving this fake world, where he can freely walk and run, because after their mom died, the MC was suffering too.

If you look at the unused (or at least not naturally found) Aborted Weird Route dialogue for the Ferris Wheel, I can't imagine how you could ever think anything else:
Maybe this is no longer considered canon?

Remember when people here talked about how Noe would sit on the cuck chair? Good times.

Troons don't make good programmers and Toby had to cut out stuff to make the episode release in time.

It’s really funny to see people on social media bitch and complain that Susie is going to ruin everything because she wants to involve Noelle and is being super unfair to Kris… as if Kris isn’t literally working with the Knight since the beginning, and has facilitated the kidnapping of Undyne, his father, and an attempted kidnapping on his mother. And Ralsei clearly has at least some idea that it’s going on.
I feel like Kris's relationship with Susie would be one of the things that could make Kris reconsider the whole Roaring thing.

Having the girl you like basically emotionally humiliate you for an entire day probably doesn't help.

Ain't that catgirlboyfuentes thing trans or was that just for undertale?
The body is a True & Honest woman, then the evil ghost swoops in and turns the overall character into a bipolar demon, or so I've heard.

Speaking of which, impressive how they simultaneously believe that ghosts are genderless yet trannies when possessing a body.

I kinda doubt Toby would accidentally leave something that totally recontextualises the Weird Route in the game files considering how ARG-y Noelle has been already. It's hardly like a dummied out mechanic, it's a full on scene that's just...there.

Noelle... kinda hates Berdly? But Noelle has to do Noelle things.
