Honestly, having this thread just so I can express my frustration on how bad this chapter went is all I needed. This game is a clear guilty pleasure of mine and I just want this story to advance and be good, many of their mysteries is some stuff that I'm legitimately interested, it's so rare to be invested in mysteries on games these days. Toby Fox might be a hack, but he knows how to create expectations.
There's something ironic that supposedly Kiwifarms is considered a "hate" website yet somehow I and others can share opinions that would be very unpopular. This thread is actually probably one of the best places to discuss Deltarune on the internet in my personal opinion. It surely beats places like Discord and Reddit by a long shot. So Seth being a bookworm who worships Berdly is Kris' imagination, and Flowery wanting Asgore to stop holding onto the past is a reflection of Kris' feelings on his father. The reason the flowers are fighting the fun gang is again, Kris is fighting himself. The presence of flowers is what tipped him off the edge, literally throwing his heart into the garbage. All of this because he fucking hates the yurishit about as much as we do. He's losing both his best friend and his childhood friend in a shitty yuri romcom ("THIS IS NOT A TRAGEDY, THIS IS A COMEDY" Blue's asking Kris to cope lmao).
