So wait, the mew mew doll came alive, but she's also possessed by Mettaton's cousin, who made it into the dark world? There's two personalities in there?

So I'm assuming the ghost fucked off back to her house while you take the mew mew doll with you?
I think its implied you straight up just bring a lightner ghosr to your dark world and they're just straight up cool with it.

Here's one thing I noticed.
When Flowery mentions that the heroes should close their fountain instead of his, one thing is mildly brushed on but mostly left unspoken because toby is a fucking hack
The fight between the two dark fountains isn't about who's right and wrong. It's a simple struggle over limited resources.
In other words...
* In this world.
* It's kill or be killed.

This kinda shit came to a head when Toby Fox referred to Napstablook as a he during the anniversary stream, and trannies started pouring out of the walls like scarabs in The Mummy to correct and berate him.
Imagine being so entitled you correct the AUTHOR OF A WORK ON HIS OWN WORK BECAUSE YOU LIKE TO LIE TO YOURSELF FOR YOU FRAGILE EGO
you DO NOT hate trannies enough

Return, O King of Pirates; assume thy throne and claim thy crown. Truly you were and are the Unraped.
>franchise had a fair amount of faggot shit, but it was ignorable enough that chuds could hold their nose and overlook it for other qualities
>expectations are high
>new chapter releases
>immediately gay niggers are shoved in your face
>entire story is filler and nothing actually happens
>new location barely makes any sense
>we inconsequentially screw around in this location while more important things happen elsewhere
>pacing is all over the place
>randomly switches between desperate race against the clock and lighthearted anime shlock
>new characters feel like some faggot's OC who doesn't belong in this universe
>Fat Kingly Villain is sidelined the whole time
>Big Bad does nothing until the very end
>female character with the last name Holiday dies
>the one heterosexual relationship in the game is torpedoed
>the worst gay nigger survives and is impossible to get rid of
>story feels rushed despite it supposedly being written years ago
>nothing happens in the chapter so now absolutely everything has to be resolved in the upcoming grand finale
>overall quality has taken a total nosedive compared to previous chapter
>concurrent player record is broken anyway, entirely due to hype from previous chapter
>most common response to it is "What the fuck did I just play?"
>nicest thing anyone can think to say about it is "The gameplay was really good even though the story sucked"
>normie fans come out of the woodwork to say "not to be racist or homophobic but those LGBT+ African-Americans were really obnoxious"
>most chuds decide the faggotry is no longer tolerable and quit
>the only people full-throatedly defending it are trannies and youtuber slaves
>people are wondering what the hell happened behind the scenes that caused this sudden sharp drop in quality
>trust in the developer's handling of the franchise is shattered
I'd hate to say I told you so.....aw who the fuck am I kidding?

Okay, so I've just finished Chapter 5... And y'all are doomposting way too fucking much. Trust in the dog, and if you can't do that, trust in the following schizo ramblings I'm about to post. Because it's so obvious to me that this is all building up to Kris letting loose with a goddamn GENERATIONAL crashout I'm legitimately shocked any Susie/Noelle shippers are celebrating this chapter. Obviously, full spoilers for Chapter 5 ahead.

First, I wanna mention some of the common criticisms I'm seeing here.

1. 'Why is Susie trying to force Noelle into everything? It's completely different from her character.'

Come on guys. Can none of you remember what it was like being a teen with your first girlfriend, or how it was when one of your friends got one? They tried to spend every single moment with her, even if they really shouldn't have. It's very much a sign of immaturity, which is part of why I'm expecting it to blow up.

2. 'There wasn't any plot progression in this chapter!'

There absolutely was. First of all, Asgore got kidnapped. Which is kinda a big deal. Also, Kris failed to prevent Susie from getting another shelter code, meaning that she's only one step away from getting in. But most of the progression actually comes from character stuff - all the shit about Kris and Susie getting set up to blow up, Ralsei further leaning into his anti-prophecy stance with Flowery's encouragement... Next chapter I'm expecting all this to ignite. I understand the criticism of this being yet another setup chapter, but each chapter has been getting longer and longer. I fully expect Chapters 6 and 7 to be the size of 1-3 each.

Okay, now that's done, let me talk about the festival and how it's absolutely packed with failed love stories. Asgore and Toriel as former Festival King and Queen, Burgerpants and his fake girlfriend, Asriel and Dess with the love letters in his drawer... There are so many red flags here it looks like a commie rally. And in the middle of all that, strolling around obliviously, are Susie and Noelle. Foreshadowing, motherfucker. It's very, VERY blatant.

Also about the festival - I saved and went through every event with each possible pairing, and I highly recommend you all do so too. The strength testing hammer is the most explicit, but you'll very quickly notice that Susie and Noelle... actually don't have that much chemistry together. Contrast that with Kris and Susie being on the same wavelength to the point of sharing a single braincell and Kris and Noelle sharing an extremely strong bond as childhood friends and youngest children of families that broke for the same reason - it makes Noelle wanting Susie to step on her and Susie thinking Noelle is nice for giving her a pencil look like nothing. And I do think that's the point. Susie and Noelle's connection is shallow, and I think the crashout that Kris is gonna have next chapter is gonna severely strain and shatter it. Like I said above, Susie forcing Noelle into everything reads to me like typical teenager stuff, and I don't think it's ending well.

(By the way, you guys, seriously go reload a festival save and see the dialogue when you write Kris and Noelle in as Festival King and Queen, then come back and tell me Toby isn't setting up some shit with this relationship.)

I might come back in a few days to talk about all the plant shit in this chapter and Flowery's reveal about plants being "neither Darkner nor Lightner" and what that means for ROOTS and stuff, but I gotta sleep on that to let my schizo mind tumble it around.

Anyways, I wanted to make this to weigh in all the Susie and Noelle bitching I saw. I'm pretty confident that this is all leading up to Kris crashing the fuck out and losing his mind, and this isn't Robert Fox playing out his yuri cuck fantasy, but maybe he's gonna kick me in the nuts for defending him when the next chapter drops, who knows.

I want to believe but it feels like cope.

I just wanted this one healthy relationship to work out at least somewhat and for the story to progress naturally. Not only did I get neither, I got the exact mathematical opposite, and frankly I don't think Fox is gonna pull it off.

Because it's so obvious to me that this is all building up to Kris letting loose with a goddamn GENERATIONAL crashout I'm legitimately shocked any Susie/Noelle shippers are celebrating this chapter.
Kris crashing out is expected. Him rejecting the Soul so that it's shoved into the Vessel, even if temporarily, is a possibility. He'll be seen in the wrong, because pointing out that Sus and Noe's relationship is shallow and wrong will piss off the yuri fans. Toby was THIS close of being Rowling'd for accidentally referring to a ghost as a guy instead of a they/them thing, and how he quickly edited the Noelle "rape" scene because it was too undeersirable showed that he'll cave to fan pressure..

That reminds me: I believe that the dash gates segments are inspired by a side-scrolling game where you did just that, cutting down youkai, can't recall the name now though.
The platforming sections are inspired by any combat platforming game, although it's amusing how in these you're pretty much forced to kill and destroy shit, which you do here as well. Kinda odd for the whole fighting is bad stance.

I wonder if the gay cowboy being so terrible as a jab against Clover, UT Yellow's protagonist, as Toby didn't like that game and there was issues with that one's music and Toby which I don't remember right now.
