Y'know, I didn't try to think about it too much, but it made me real sad realizing that we lost any potential for Krusie to be any part canon whike looking at all the older Krusie work. Honestly, such a fun dynamic, even at the Chapter 5 festival you can still see it. So the Suselle cutscene felt like that interstellar moment where the protagonist was in a bookshelf screaming but couldn't do actually anything.
All that build up of Kris and Suise relationship, even then STILL eating moss together, having Kris want to be with her, but still just start pulling the blanket on Susie and Noelle relationship after all that was established with Kris and Suise. It's like Chapter 5 was specifically to mock the possibility of Kris and Susie ending up together, as to have Kris feel jealous and spiteful. Deltarune fans like to say that "Kris is their own person", but honestly, nothing made me more in sync with him that the ending. I just felt as sad and left out.
Especially with the shots of Susie making room for Noelle and stuff to introduce her to the Dark World, which dosen't make sense since she's not as experienced or strong as the others, and we're nearing the end of it. Like, I don't fucking care for relationship with Susie and Noelle. They didn't go through as anything or as much as Suise and Kris or Kris and Noelle, why should I care?
It just feels like a massive humiliation ritual if you are attached to the Krusie relationship.
