End of chapter 2, scene in Sans's grocery store. Toriel and Sans are making food puns at each other. Asgore suddenly barges in and exclaims "and don't forget me, your eggs-husband". Everyone goes silent out of utter cringe.

I think it would be a lot more climactic if the knight was Rudy since it would add impact for Asgore as he would be fighting the person he considered his best friend.
I could see a proper, mandatory-win Chapter 5/6 rematch soon before/after we learn who the Knight is, but despite all the Mother 3 comparisons, I don’t think it’ll be the final boss. On the other hand, if the final boss isn’t the Knight or a titan, then what else? Gaster? The Angel? Kris himself while we control the vessel?
Whatever’s fine, I just hope for someone with a little charisma. Having a silent antagonist is kinda boring. I feel like all the intrigue of the Knight has worn off at this point. So now you reveal they’re just a flunky in a larger plot. It’d be quite dull to just chase the Knight around the next two chapters, I’ll be honest.
I think the general theory is that the roaring knight is basically gonna be taken down in chapter 5 and the last 2 chapters will just have her lingering around. Main theories I've seen when it comes to the final boss is gonna be Carol, Friend, or some king titan or something.
Either the Shadow Mantle personified or it was Friend.
