So this popped into my rec-tab:

Video is 12 minutes long, and the guy only spends about 2 actually discussing what's wrong with Toby's Japanese and the DR translation. Lame! A 3-hour piece-by-piece breakdown comparing both versions of the script and pointing out problems with it is something I'd actually watch (assuming that it's even that bad in the first place).
 
I just spent the last two days watching the three-part YouTube series on the Device Theory for Deltarune. It was really captivating and well put together, but unfortunately the author has an aggressively ugly tranny avatar that kept jumpscaring me, lmao. Still, I do begrudgingly recommend it, even if you choose to just listen to the audio only.

I liked Undyne when she seems serious and intimidating, but not when she becomes goofy after you befriend her.

I guess it's not too surprising Toby embellished his Japanese ability (or his Japanese ability was embellished by others), makes me feel a little less bad for putting it down after being unable to progress in it.

THE DEVICE THEORY by m0llystars. Here’s the first of the three parts. The whole thing is around 9 hours but I do think it’s worth it.

One other thing I forgot to mention is that these videos came out before chapters 3+4, and the theory still holds. I’d even argue that much of it is strengthened now.

The fact that this theory was made before ch3 and still holds up makes me actually feel more confident in it, I normally dislike the “theory culture” around Deltarune but this seems cool actually.

genious admires simplicity, idiot admires complexity. gaster connects us to this world through a program, and that's it. interface is also physical but we learnt this from undertale haven't we? love and exp is shown in stats because they do exist here too. i didn't watch the videos, but i doubt that i will learn anything new by doing so.
 
The third world in sword hero implies that we'll have to fight the entire town in Snow Grave. It might also happen in normal route but more goofy.

Asgore with flowers, the catti and bratty family, possibly Toriel.

you know, that does make a little bit of sense, just not in the way it's presented. there's only three people that really understand kris (aside from susie), and that's noelle, asriel, and dess. asriel is in college, dess is getting norted in the dark, and noelle is too busy throwing kris under the bus because she thinks that'll make her look cooler to susie. i can see susie filling that void, but it's a natural friendship like with him and noelle, and nothing forced like noelle and susie or noelle and burghley.

if rudy, colored in red, married carol who is colored in blue... it would mean that cyan and yellow, an inversion of red and blue will too hold this love pattern. thus it makes kriselle cannon, checkmate faggots and dragon admirers i'll see you in chapter 5.

actually i don't care lmao, but don't forget that on aborted snowgrave in chapter 5 we might be able to re-equip the thornring back on noelle? uh oh
