One hilarious thing about Yellowjackets is that where the plane went down is only about 40 minutes from civilization in the real world.

If you are on a plane that crashes there and nobody finds you within 90 minutes, nobody WANTS to find you.

Also, Black Boxes are made to survive insanely catastrophic crashes, so a runty teenage girl with a rock would NOT be able to smash one, even with a jackhammer.

I'm willing to handwave some shit in the name of a good story. Okay, the whole extra set of "ceremonial garb" that they managed to whip up in a hurry, I was willing to roll with.

The idea that they've managed to domesticate ducks and rabbits and keep them in wooden pens was where I noped out. I don't think the dumbest, most retarded chicken would consent to hanging out in one of those.

And those "shelters"? LOL. LMAO, even.

I was never really a Downton Abbey viewer, I’d just sort of absorb it whenever it was on, because every white woman I’ve met seemed to love it.

Everyone points to Matthew dying as the point when it really went off the rails but for me it lost direction when O’Brien left. After that, the big villain was just Thomas, who I guess is supposed to be this scheming, evil gay trying to climb the ranks by framing head butler Bates for some crime.

Then by the end he has a near-death experience, instantly reforms, and just becomes head butler anyway. It’s classic soap opera logic, everyone oscillating between good and evil depending on the plot.

Few months late, but if this is supposed to be how it ends - fucking hell.
I've been watching it and I genuinely only like it for two characters: Matthew Crawley (Dan Stevens) and Tom Branson (Allen Leech). The former for being a middle class bloke who joined aristocracy, and the other an outsider who eventually joins through marriage through Sybil Crawley (Jessica Brown Findlay). Of course, other characters I can highlight an appreciation are Violet Crowley (Maggie Smith), Isobel Grey (Penelope Wilton), William Mason (Thomas Howes) and even Sarah O' Brien (Siobhan Finneran) as well as Joseph Molesley (Kevin Doyle).

Particularly, I like how there are some who show kindness to particular characters, while others remain secretive towards others. Hell, even Thomas Barrow (Robert-James Collier) has depth to him which, I can admire. Yet so far, I stopped on Season 3, Episode 7. I know Matthew will die in 2 episodes, which will suck ass. Annoying choice from Stevens for saying he didn't want to be typecast, and fucking up the whole show and focusing on Mary, a character which I dislike. John Bates & Anna Bates story come close to being a chore alongside Mary's - even Ethel's is better.
I only look forward to Branson's storyline from now on, I guess. Fuck this, I don't know if it will get any better - will it?

If I remember right, Season 3 of Dowton wasn't too bad. I don't have a seething irritation for it. I actually love Mary and hoped her and Branson might find romance in each other, since they had grown close. I haven't seen the movie, so IDK how/if it wraps it all up

E: I had forgotten there were more seasons after

So, I just finished Episode 8, and the whole subplot of Thomas' sodomy was handled fine, yet it left me wondering if even back in the 1920s it was that "liberal". Some speak as if faggots "always" existed that freely and there was a supression, and even Robert tells Alfred "hE wHo Is WiThOuT sIn CaSt ThE fIrSt StOnE", something which is arguably a latter addition to the New Testament, hilariously.

May have to find something new to watch, probably. Who knows.

The BBC version of Being Human. It's implied Captain Hatch, the Devil's current vessel, has beaten the latest supernatural trio, but it just ends with that. There IS a deleted scene where they figure it out, but it's just that. Deleted.

It can still be found on YouTube: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=30fnJqB_3Cw&t=15s

Seinfeld. The ending wasn't a massive apology for how bad the show was, and how they suckered millions of people into liking that trash through the process of 'they think its funny, so I have to also. HA HA SOUP NAZI!"
Nah, Seinfeld was a really funny show, especially the later seasons. The ending was...ok

I think I stopped watching Curb season 8 or 9… the one with the last episode featuring Larry arguing wildly with the overused nigger as the credits rolled.

There was too much reliance on the Blacks, and these days I never really watch Curb past season 5.

Seasons 1-3 were untouchable. 4-5 drops but some good parts. The Seinfeld reunion series however was amazing, but after that it dropped massively imho.

You are missing out, fren. Leon ("the overused nigger") is hilarious paired with Larry.

The last couple of seasons are bangers, especially "the spite store " season. You should give them a try.
