Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Horse fuckers and gacha addicts get sent to the glue factory

I find Taiki ridiculously easy to train for medium CM's in MANT, because all you need is medium sparks. She can do dirt, sprint, mile, and medium with said sparks.

And I'm over here having to pre-order a figure overseas, waiting around for several months. The tariffs and shipping costs may get stupid at times but I'll take it over not finding any of my favorites at the shops near me. Let alone for Umamusume themed merch.
 
Now that we are nearing the end of MANT and the first actual anniversary of Global being released now may be the time to start thinking about what style you would like to focus on. While it's not impossible to run more than one as the game progresses and we get more cards into rotation it becomes harder and harder to run all styles without whaling hard on card banners. What we have that JP did not is some foresight into what cards are good for what styles and when they drop. If you care at all about the current meta in JP it's a tie between Late Surgers and Paces, Ends and then Fronts being the least "viable." Attached is what is generally considered must haves for specific styles as well as general cards you'll want to have.

So I tried the ultra Golshi mode and dear fuck and don't know if you're supposed to run Mant with it but it turned it into fucking survival mode.

I ran it with the queen, Golshi, herself since you can only really use end closers but man, that was brutal.

Yeah the "slight" difficulty increase is bullshit. There are races that I've struggled with that I really shouldn't with the stats I get on my umas
 
Ultra Golshi mode wasn't that hard. I tried MANT, didn't even make it through the scenario. Tried URA, same results. Did Unity Cup and changed my deck a bit?

Less than ideal stats but it worked. I didn't run any other races than the mandatory ones and I deliberately threw against team Zenith. Legacies picked based on Stam/Pow sparks even if my B+ Creek is technically a 2*speed spark.

This bad boy won 236M yen and won the ‘89 Asahi Hai Sansai Stakes and '90 Japanese Derby. The name is comes from the clan name (Ines), plus the wind god Fujin, pretty common for clan names to be passed around huh.

But the question everyone has is... Why is this bitch such a wageslave?
In the uma lore, its because she comes from a financially challenged family, which is a translation to: "The farm the horse was in, was poor" Hell, poor would be an understatement, the farm itself almost faced bankruptcy several times, Its owner ended up commiting suicide after failing his business (Well, everyone was once the bubble in Japan popped) But the horse still managed to clinch a happy ending and retire safely.

However, the Derby still to this day has a long tradition of making and breaking the horses that participate in it. Despite excellent performance and marking a record, the horse's eyes were tearing up and was so tired, that he ended up trotting through his winning lap. After the race, he was found to have a swollen left leg, which was then diagnosed as flexor tendonitis (Bowed tendon). After spending two and a half months at a hot spring rehab centre, he tried to return to training on August 30th, 1990 but his legs were still unsteady. Thus his officials announced his retirement.

I hope the horse's story inspires everyone here to get a job do their best in the upcoming CMs

For me, it’s when people treat Urara like she’s some kind of retard or sped, or an infant. Yeah, she’s happy-go-lucky to a fault and not exactly the brightest bulb, but she’s pretty emotionally intelligent, very helpful around the shopping district, and surprisingly good at giving inspiring speeches (you can see it during summer camp when she encourages Rice, and in a costume event where she plays tug of war).
