I had a quick look and it appears they regularly do that for other games at least. Of course that still begs the question why one outlet is essentially allowed several reviews to be counted. If IGN want to shit up their own site with them that's one thing, but it definitely fucks with the aggregators.
I'm not entirely sure. From what I heard in a recent YT video it's a combo of some people from Massive and another Ubi studio (Bucharest maybe?) although how long that's been going on, and whether or not they're some of the ones who've previously fucked the game IDK. Now that Outlaws is out, and with Div 3 still basically being in the planning stages they might be able to nick some of the OG developers back, at least temporarily.

Hey, these are all very independent reviews by different parts of IGN. IGN Eritrea for example gave it a harsh 6/10 mentioning that because the game isn't shipped on floppy disk they couldn't run it on the only working computer in the entire country.

Even for Massive's usual shit standards today has been kinda funny. In addition to extending the maintenance and it still somehow making things worse, they then announced a second emergency maintenance and lo and behold:
I can't wait to get on and try it because I want to see if they've actually fixed the disappearing ammo bug and, if they did, if that brought back the True Patriot ammo bug that I suspect it was a half assed fix for in the first place.

Lol. LMAO even. The absolute and unironic state of this company. I'm honestly expecting them to just give up and wait til tomorrow at this point since it's like 8pm in Sweden.

They wish. RDR2 at least had functional open world stuff in it. You can steal horses, carriages, cause mayhem, do crime. Kay is supposed to be a good lady girlboss so despite having a functional crime and reputation system you can't hurt innocent people at all.
So we now have an open world crime game where you can't do any crime. Probably because the game has no actual NPC civilian AI and the random people you see are just generic props.

So with Breakpoint, Assassin's Creed Niggers in Japan, Skull and Bones and now Star Wars Outlaws how deep in the shit do you think Ubisoft is?
I don't think they released a game that made them money since Ass Creed Valhalla. Is that why they brought back Heroes and Might and Magic from the dead?

Ubisoft stock tanks to 10 year low after lukewarm SW Outlaws launch. But they are not done embarrassing themselves yet. Their stock is gonna hit lower and they will become yet again the laugh stock of the game industry, when AC Shadows is released. This is just a small taste of what is to come for Ubisoft.

I might have been happy at the news, since Rayman 4 leaked 2 years ago and is being worked on by fans. Ubisoft canning the game for a minigames collection made me hate them like I hated no other studio before, but I also recently found out that the project is full of they/thems just like with Duke Nukem Forever's restoration project. It's just miserable all around, Rayman 4 was one of the few things from Ubisoft I still cared about.
I hope they go out of business and let some other companies buy their IPs for pennies, this would be a fitting end for such a horrid, soulless company. I hope Japanese boycott Ubisoft alltogether after the Assassins Creed Nigger debacle.

I really hope more is done with The Division franchise but I can't think of any dev studio, that if they bought it, wouldn't just fuck it up as much or more then the current devs.
