Do you guys think this is so that people will stop hunting Vaush's accounts to reveal that he's a pedophile?

Última edición:
lol "but how will I know the mob approves of my NPC recitations unless number go vroom?!?!"

alternatively "how will I know someone is telling the truth without a reassuring number of Likes to confirm it?!?!"

I think this is being done to prevent like-bashing in general, terminally-online wingnuts would use a person's like feed to search for anything problematic (pedophilia, zoophilia, conservatism, liberalism, zionism, antisemitism, racism, etc.) and try to start up a witch hunt/deplatforming campaign using that as proof.

It's both a curse and boon as of right now, only time will tell where it truly lies.
When I found somebody I thought was cool I'd look at their likes and it would usually lead me to other cool people to follow.

Can't do that shit anymore, thanks Elon.
You can still do all of this with retweets/reposts.

A lot of high profile lefty political accounts got outed as sex weirdos/pedophiles via their likes.

My bet is that's what caused this.

It's probably a honeypot to make people like Vaush less stingy with their likes. Then when it's re-enabled a few months from now we get to dig through whatever CP and horse cock rings he's been indulging with.
I'll never understand why, if you're into that sort of thing, you would ever log (publicly or privately) that interest (or your approval of an instance of it) on a system you don't control and don't have absurdly strong and tight security on.

"Welp, I love this thing most people find abhorrent and it's actually technically illegal but oh hey here's this post from a fellow miscreant posting on a public forum anyone can read so I'd better publicly express my explicit approval! Nobody will ever connect these dots. I'm too smart for that! What do you mean 'opsec'?"

Elon renamed Twitter to X, officially allows porn and has hidden likes. He's definitely a porn addict who's tired of getting bullied over being a porn addict.

This is actually based, it's a huge blow to cancel culture faggots who comb through peoples likes to find ways to label them as bigots. Also makes it way safer for normalfags to upvote anti tranny tweets. And now you can have all of this without needing to give (((Elon))) any of your money

Good.

Edit: Bad, I thought it meant that people couldn't see how much something is liked because people like the idea of validating their posts based on how many likes they got.

They really just need to remove likes entirely so people can write something and move on with their lives.

I like it. Likes being public by default either meant you'll get shit from some retard for liking something they don't like or disagree with and/or you end up being overly self-concious over what you hit the like button on. If he makes it a non-paid toggle that defaults to off, it's perfect.

It was fun seeing Nick Rekieta, for example, like all of the balldowashing posts, but you can't have everything. This is better for everyone.

I hope this gets reverted in a couple of months after people feel safe enough to start liking some crazy shit. The fallout would be funny as fuck.
