Tumblr's web design is so nauseatingly bad and incomprehensible I'm surprised every button doesn't automatically collect and download 20 TB of CP onto your computer when clicked.

Who's surprised? Not me.

I'm treating this with a huge pinch of salt. I know that Tumblr can be incompetent with their coding, but, a gigantic fuck up with the filter going unnoticed like that is just too ridiculous a notion to me, especially nowadays with countless stories about pedos on a platform popular with kids.

Also... the Verge article that was linked to on that post doesn't mention that theory at all. It just gives out Tumblr's statement about the filter not catching some CP and Apple pulling the app because of it.

Tumblr is a horrendous hellsite from the get go, because it echo chambers mental illness to a point that people get angry over everything. You could honestly say the sky is blue and you'll get a bunch of people attacking you, and telling you to check your color vision privilege and how this post is erasing color blind people. Kids go on tumblr looking for acceptance and all they get is being dragged into a crab bucket where one wrong move gets you eviscerated.

Not only is CP a huge problem on tumblr, but also bestiality stuff. There were so many blogs running campaigns to get tumblr to ban some of the more notorious ones, but nothing ever came of it. What would happen is that call out blogs will get deleted instead for 'harassment'. Staff honestly, does not care, and I am so happy to see them getting consequences for it.

Tumblr is a site where pedophiles feel safe because muh oppression so the whole thing can get nuked.
