Musk has always been a govt employee playing a part. Early on, they admit, they created the Iron Man movies to sell him as a successful entrepreneur. He's not one though, all his ventures are DoD or military projects. Even the only single "company" he created, if I recall, never saw the light of day but, similar to Vivek's "company," was acquired by some bigger company for no apparent reason. Classic intelligence backstory creation.
After the alt-right, another manufactured govt "movement," layed the ground work for Donboi, they shifted Musk to the "autism" act to pipeline the stupid Yarvin-esque, Vox Day-esque bullshit they peddled at the "grassroots" level. He's no more autistic than he is an entrepreneur. It's all bullshit.
Lastly, the whole Thiel-Musk-Yarvin-Donboi nexus is fascism. Public-private partnerships. CEO Kings. God Emperors. It is all thinly veiled police state fascism on a global level.

Corporatism is not the same as Corporatocracy and I'm sick of Yanks trying to comment on what Fascism is because they have no idea every time, there are no Fascists left, Americans are continually shadowboxing with the ghosts of the past, in a genuine Fascist dictatorship, Palantir and Tesla would be entirely subservient to the state and not the other way around, companies would be appropriated and would mostly consist of party apparatchiks than actual businessmen. Trump is a supercapitalist 'slopulist' (someone who puts on the airs of populism with none of the actual legwork) who in his second term has devolved into an incomprehensible figure because he is TOO OLD and is probably in the early stages of dementia.
As for Musk himself, he really is just severely autistic and not much else, he just managed to strike it lucky with his father's fortune. He probably went with Donald due to some wild theory about him being better for the American economy (and by extension companies like Tesla) and from there just slowly ingratiated himself into the right. He does not have an original thought as reflected in his quote tweets even of right-wingers, it's usually some form of one-word response like "Crazy" or "Wow" and as shown by the H1b debacle, he is as stubborn as a mule and will drive his company's stocks into the ground with his autistic tantrums. Please stop treating him like he's some masterful chess-player merely "acting" as an autist, it is quite genuine.

I'm speaking colloquially but Downey and Mark Fergus have both confirmed the characterization of Stark was based on Musk. Like I said, it's bullshit anyway, because Musk is not a successful entrepreneur. I'd bet money he doesn't run any companies. He sure the fuck doesn't sound like someone who does and or ever has. Also, regarding all the Jeezus-posting (too many to quote directly), we need to keep something in mind: most of these people have never actually read the Bible themselves. Their knowledge of it comes entirely from attending church, where they are told how to interpret the Bible as it is read to them. We’ve already established that these people are barely literate, so even if they could read it themselves, there’s little chance they’d be able to interpret the messages within the stories on their own anyway.
Nine times out of ten, these people are craving the end-times to happen because they’re told to, because hey man, you’re not going to need all that money when the rapture happens, so just give it all to the church! If it wasn’t going to happen, then giving all your money to the church would have been fucking retarded, so that means it’s gotta happen, right? Right??
Take a wild guess how I know this. I’ve seen this play out enough times IRL to know the playbook by heart, and it always comes down to this exact sunk-cost-fallacy herd mentality. Evangelical churches are the temples of Satan himself, and should be taxed harder than any institution in this country until they’re wiped from existence for the good of the human race. Jesus would be horrified if he came back today and saw what this cult was doing in his name.
