My Indian friend told me the reason a lot of the Indians had liked Trump is because:
1) The whole "Trump noticed India and treated it positively for once!!" stuff, with the whole Trump trip to India back in 2018/19 or whatever. Almost literally, a case of "Trump-senpai noticed us!!"
2) He is basically the same as Modi, just much more outspoken. Says all the right things, is loud about how much they love their country and how great it is/can be with their help, and loves to "own the libs". The only difference is at least Modi doesn't spend 12 hours a day on Twitter or something.
Then again, just as how many Americans are disliking Trump, seems even the Modi support is declining. According to my friend, Modi and his guys have gotten into a lot of shit because they wouldn't let go of their education minister when the national exam for the country got leaked and everyone was after his head.

Maybe he will, but it is disingenuous to say he's doing the same as Orban in any capacity. Do you mean the ministers and the cabinet? Of course those are all his people, that's how it is with every single government at the highest level in every single country, and noone shamed Orban for not nominating someone from the opposition for his Minister of Justice or whatever. There really hasn't been any personnel change in any politically independent institutions, let alone putting his own people there.
The fire everyone part is fair; you do need to fire everyone, burn everything to the ground, drain the swamp, whatever the fuck you want to call it. Orban DID rape every conceivable, supposedly independent institution into his own party network.
A couple examples:
The Constitution (Fundamental Law) itself has been completely assraped, you can't just not touch it and call it a day because it wouldn't be right to; you have to fix it.
The Constitutional Court before 2010 was probably the most influential independent institution responsible for checks and balances; FIDESZ raped it to death. Fidesz centralized the judiciary under the 'National Office for the Judiciary', which is insane considering the first president for it was Handó (Szájer's wife, known for his Brussels homosexual drug orgy scandal of international fame).
The Curia. The Prosecutor General's Office. The State Audit office. National Election Commission. MTI, Media Council, by proxy the national public media, The KESMA monopoly. Embezzling infinite amounts of taxpayer money to advertise for the state party. GVH. All the telecomm. companies. The majority of universitities being LITERALLY owned by fucking FIDESZ through KEKVAs (public interest asset management foundations, if you're financially autistic look into it, it's really fucking funny in hindsight). Owning (through leadership directly adjacent to FIDESZ) the vast majority of supposedly independent cultural institutions: theatres, museums, cultural grants, etc etc. Completely raping the power of municipalities and centralising EVERYTHING important: schools, hospitals; all transferred to central government offices, public schools under KLIK. Coopting and politicizing the Police, cannibalizing it to create your own private militia (TEK) and put your ex private bodyguard in charge of it. The intelligence services (I hope I won't have to elaborate for you and you understand the extent the glowies were the personal bloodhounds of the state party, eg Gundalf and co. ). Bloating the state with useless faggot tax graveyards such as the Sovereignty Protection Office. Giving government affiliated NGOs about 99% of the funding and the rest get none. Stealing civil society grants (eg Norway). Selectively fucking some of the smaller churches (Iványi) in favor of your buddies who were all on the tippy top of the so called 'historical churches'. Raping ombudsmans. MASSIVELY increasing the amount of effort and money it takes to put in FOI[A] requests, in some cases making it impossible (Trafik scandal). Centralizing 95% of all public procurement in the hands of your family-cronies. Raping the Integrity Authority, a (quasi) EU institution meant to investigate fraud and corruption regarding EU funds. The National Bank and Matolcsy's 650 billion heist. The Budget Council being filled with janissaries with quasi-eternal appointments. Essentially co-opting ALL the state owned enterprises, energy, transport, gamba, post office, utilities, advertising, ANYTHING you can think of had a politicized leadership put there by FIDESZ. Tourism grants to friendly cronies only, same goes for construction, agriculture (buying out massive lands and literal feudalismmaxxing in rural Hungary in the 21st century). Sports being 100% integrated into the political system (Felcsút lol). The Presidency of the Republic, even Sulyok was a direct FIDESZ appointee (he was appointed as a constitutional judge by the FIDESZ supermajority in parliament) and Novák (FIDESZ earrings), Áder, etc. you cannot possibly call these people independent - of course you have to remove retarded szatyorfing faggot Sulyok, they would have done the same with Sólyom if the timing was different and there were more than a couple months left of his term.
I don't think I've listed even 50% of the sins of these faggot thief niggers, how can you with a straight face say that the guy who has been office for a few months is doing the same? Every single office holder he removed or is threatening to remove is 100% part of the FIDESZ deep state and extremely closely and easily verifiably linked to them and was entrenched just in case TISZA doesn't get a 2/3 supermajority- sucks to suck, I guess, TISZA did get it.
Literally the opposite is the issue with Magyar - he is unable to clean the ENTIRETY of the deep state out at the middle-level because there simply isn't enough independent cadres-to-be who have any sort of experience due to the fact that FIDESZ raped the country so thoroughly in the last 16 years; so not only is he not filling up independent institutions with his own people but there is so many people in the middle management at the NOT independent institutions even such as ministries who he can't fucking fire because there's just noone to replace them with eg. Nemcsok Dénes, who is especially vital in getting/disbursing the EU gibs as he is quite literally the only person who can navigate the labyrinthine bureaucratic nightmare that is. They won way harder than what they could afford to 100% leverage.
TLDR.: If you can give me ONE example by Magyar that isn't a ministry/cabinet/state secretary/similarly explicitly political appointee but instead at the head of an independent institution and can be tied to TISZA hats off to you, you know something noone else does. You can't just say 'he removed xy faggot entrenched FIDESZ janissary whose only function in life was to obstruct in case there isnt a constitutional majority', it doesn't count as long as the guy he replaced them with is verifiably linked to him. There are multiple things I deeply and strongly disagree with them on politically and there's a very strong chance I won't vote for them 4 years from now based on how certain things are handled, but saying that they inherited any of FIDESZ' sins is laughable.
