I do agree though, The Incredibles should have got a sequel much sooner than fucking Cars and Finding Nemo.
 
I think the reason there wasn't a sequel soon was because of director Brad Bird taking on other projects.

The Incredibles only made $20 million more than cars did at the box office and that's before you take into account how much cars merch can go for.

Remember, Disney and the other big studios don't give a fuck about the quality of the film, I think we can all agree that the Incredibles is the superior film to Cars. They only care about how much money can be made and how much merchandise can be sold and the reality is that products with cartoon cars or cartoon fish on are way easier to sell than products with cartoon people purely because people don't give a shit about a cartoon person if they don't know who the character is but a car or a fish are pretty universal even if you've never seen the film the character is in.

Also putting a superhero on a product puts those products in competition with stuff with Marvel or DC characters on and when it comes to global recognition Spiderman or Batman trump Mr Incredible any day of the week, even during the time immediately after the incredibles was released.

Trump got elected because the Religious Right of the 700 Club types and other groups were proven right. The Evangecucks don't get elected anymore, but Trump did, precisely because the Jack Chicks and Pat Buchanans of the 80s and 90s were proven right. As was the Far Right and many others. If Dr. Pierce was alive today, he wouldn't even do speeches anymore. He would just play clips of the mainstream media and say "Told you so" over and over again.

The reason Hillary ran such a wonky campaign is because she assumed an electoral victory was guaranteed and was worried about losing the popular vote to Trump. Had she won the electoral vote but lost the popular vote it would have given Republicans ammo against her. Her campaign makes a lot more sense if you look at it as an attempt to win the popular vote.

A lot of what Democrats have done over the past four years makes sense if they were expecting a Democrat to permanently reside in the white house.

They aren't entirely wrong though. Its half the reasons hordes of spics have been imported and half the reason they push so desperately for another Reagan esque pardon/amnesty.

Its just that for the last several years, on MSM, Mainstream Internet, and niche forums and imageboards, they and their supporters have been blatant about it. Openly saying it. Basically spelling out the reason hordes of Liberal trash and SoCal garbage have been migrating to Texas, Colorado and other places, is because they believe the vote is secure.

Which is also the reason Trump got the support he did. And why Le Pen and the Austrian guy got so much support before blatant corruption destroyed any idea that voting would change anything. In Austria's case, they probably would have just assassinated the fucker had he looked too successful for ballot stuffing to fix.
