One thing I noticed when the word hit about John McCain being a mover and shaker behind the Steele dossier was that the Twitter liberals were -- and still are -- bending over backwards to praise McCain as a hero, a patriot, a true man of integrity and principle...you name it, they used it as an excuse to put him on a pedestal while spitting all over Trump. That's a recurring motif with these people. As long as someone's crapping all over Trump, they're to be viewed as perfect angels above and beyond reproach, no matter how blatantly corrupt they are. Hell, look at Michael Avenatti alone. The guy's got a ton of criminal charges and a possible 330+-year prison sentence facing him, and the Twitter liberals are still rallying behind him as a hero because he's been smearing Trump, Kavanaugh, and anybody and everybody who dares to call the Democrats out on their crap.

These people genuinely do not care if their champions of choice are dirty. The "Vote Blue No Matter Who" hashtag you see on so many liberal posts and profiles is proof of that. All that matters to them is hating Trump, period. Consequences of their actions be damned, the sins of their golden calves notwithstanding. They'll happily throw their support behind the most evil people imaginable if it means spiting Trump and pat themselves on the back for their supposed virtue.
