Culture Troon says parents should ask babies for permission before changing diaper - Because changing diapers is totally sexual

'I'm going to change your nappy, is that OK?': Expert claims parents should ask babies for permission before changing diaper

Deanne Carson said it's important to use eye contact to teach infants their response matters but viewers have been left "dumbfounded" by her ideas

A sexuality expert has said parents should ask babies for their permission before changing their nappies in order to set up a culture of consent from birth.

Deanne Carson, who describes herself on Twitter as a 'sexuality educator, speaker and author,' made the claim while speaking on ABC in footage above.

She said she works with children from three years old on issues surrounding consent, but added that parents are advised to introduce ideas much earlier.

Deanne recognised that babies are unable to give an answer, but said it's important to use eye contact to teach them their response matters.

On a segment aired on consent laws, she said: "We work with children from three years old.

"We work from parents from birth."

The reporter seems confused and asks "from birth?"

"Yes, just about how to set up a culture of consent in their homes so 'I'm going to change your nappy now, is that OK,' Deanne responded.

"Of course a baby is not going to respond 'yes mum that's awesome, I'd love to have my nappy changed'.

"But if you leave a space, and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact then you're letting that child know that their response matters."

Many viewers seemed confused by her suggestion with Twitter users saying "I'm not hearing this right surely" and "I'm dumbfounded."

I want to see this Troon ask a 2 month old if it can change the nappy, chances are the baby doesn't even know what the fuck that is.

Mm, while not infant-infant, I do understand teaching a really young kid you can tell people not to touch you and that it's wrong if they keep doing it, because pedophiles. But the way to teach that is to not let aunt bertha ignore when the kid says they don't want to be touched, even if it's some innocent cheek kisses. Not to let them stew in their own shit because they're too cranky to say yes to getting changed
The thing is, kids need a lot of clarity when they are being taught about abstract concepts like consent - and as for infants, they don't even have a concept of self until at least 12 months, the most this broad is doing is showing them that when she asks for consent, she will pause and then do whatever she was going to do.

But when it comes to grandma hugs and the like, in my experience kids do better learning that they just can't say no to some things and people rather than bodily autonomy. The kids who have been taught they can decide who touches them all seem to be poorly socialised and reserved, because of course if you ask a kid if they want to hug the giant half lady in the cloud of vodka and perfume so thick you can see it, they are going to say no. It's better to learn that there are expectations of you in society that sometimes require unpleasant behaviour. You can teach a kid that while still teaching them to keep their privates private.

I don't think this troon understands how babies work. Babies can't talk. How are you supposed to ask a baby for permission to change its diaper if it...well...doesn't know how to speak; let alone say yes or no to a question? If you aren't willing to change a god damn diaper because you don't want to do it without the babies "permission", then you shouldn't have or adopt children.

Children can give visual signals as she explained which works in a lot of non-verbal older children, but not the shit she is going on about. Non-verbal children understand why something is being done (If they have been taught), a newborn does not because they have not been taught yet.

The child needs to know why they're being changed and understand why being dirty is a bad thing, something a child has no grasp on. The child also needs to understand you are looking out for their best interests and not being a sexual deviant.

The old saying goes "Don't run before you can walk". Well this dangerhair twat wants to surpass the running and go right in for the SJW points. I'm just glad she got BTFO'd because she has no fucking idea how to raise children.

Edit: Is this actually a troon? Because she harpers on a fuck tonne about little boys on her twitter.

I'm of the opinion that parents should only ask their child's permission when the child's response can be honored. They can't answer, and if they could it wouldn't matter because it's neglect to leave kids in their own shit.

The most idiotic part in this thing is the idea that parents have to ask for consent to take care of their children. Guess what: no child ever would consent to visiting a doctor or a dentist. No child would agree to drink a cold medicine or to take a shot. Raising a child means often saying "no", and doing things against child's will for his/her own good. If someone wants to eliminate any authority from parenting, it will result in no parenting at all.

You see hair like that, and you know that when it opens its mouth, nothing but crazy is coming out.

I wanted to give a flippant response to this, but thinking about it, and noticing this...

Doesn't this imply that babies actually have legal permission to give consent?

Jesus fucking Christ, we're one step closer to the pedophilia being accepted meme.

I've actually hit the root of all evil at the heart of this troonery.

Keep in mind these idiots want to argue that they are biologically natural, and not afflicted with a mental illness. They also want to argue that Gender is a social construct and not biologically determined, and as such, even a small child can assume whatever gender they like. Arguing that infants are able to give consent is a rational extension of these ideas, so long as we accept that a rational conclusion is not a true conclusion. There is a difference, and the devil is quite literally in the details.

As these idiots move out into the mainstream, I am am growing increasingly convinced that the backlash needs to come sooner, rather then later. There is a stupendous amount of ideological evil being pushed here that goes way beyond gay people having sex. That is simply consenting adults doing something I am not interested in. What is being argued for here though is the indoctrination of children into an ideology that is socially destructive. And they are using peoples altruism and good intentions as a weapon to bring it about.

Let me tell you about heresy.

Forgot to add, a different gender professional, a psychologist associated with a pediatric gender transition clinics, thinks babies are giving gender signals if they unsnap onsies or pull barrettes out of their hair. Wasted education.

How are you going to show them that their response matters? They don't know what you're saying or asking, they can't tell you're asking for their consent. And even if they could, what would happen if they try to say "no" and you just change it anyways, because of course you change their fucking diaper? Seems like it would teach them the opposite-- that their response DOESN'T matter.

Holy fuck do I ever hate this shit. Even when it's for small children who do have verbal capacity, unlike a newborn.

This is doing the exact, exact opposite of respecting the bodies and minds of children, and the opposite of teaching them about bodily integrity.

So you always ask for consent, right? How about when it comes to whether your kid gets a rabies series after an animal bite? Or when you have to put them in a car seat and they'd rather be unbuckled so they can act like a crazy person in the back seat?

I'll tell you what happens, because I have seen dangerhair parenting up close. First, the parent explains the rationale for the desired action. The kid whines. The parent cajoles and pressures in a warped, passive aggressive way: "I know you want to make the right choice, I will count to three and ask again, do you consent to get in the car seat?"

And when the kid now breaks down into a tantrum, the parent eventually puts the kid in the car seat anyway.

So children, what have we learned about consent? That you, as a minor, have the capability to give it to an adult, for one. And that what it really means is anticipating or acquiescing to adult demands regardless of your real feelings, because as soon as an adult decides to end the little consent game, you get manhandled into the seat anyway. So you may as well just say the magic "I consent" words and get it over with, since you already know how this little dog and pony show will end.

Then, when later on you tell your parents that you actually hated something you did, they act flabbergasted and say, "but you said you consented.". So the kid ends up feeling like they were to blame for being manipulated and coerced, because in the end they gave in.

Does this sound familiar? I believe fully that anyone who enacts these ideas is acting, knowingly or unknowingly, as a groomer of children. They are promoting ideas they would call rape culture in any other context. The boys raised with these ideas, particularly, will end up masters of manipulative, passive aggressive strategies designed to prey on girls raised in the same pseudoconsent culture.

It's fine to tell kids they don't have to hug or kiss if they hate it. But if at the end of the day, it's something where you could either have to manipulate the kid into making a necessary "choice" or just overrule them, don't bother asking. It sends exactly the wrong message.

In 20 years a lot of these people will be wondering why it was their daughter comes home crying and saying "I don't know what happened, I didn't want it but I felt trapped and like I'd have to do what he said anyway, so I just went along with it and now I feel traumatized," and they'll say, how did this happen, I always taught her that she had bodily autonomy!

Anyone who perceives changing a baby's diaper as a sexual act is the degenerate in this, and should never be allowed around children.

Any troon this obsessed with diaper changing is a disgusting pervert who should be thrown in prison or into a mental hospital for life.

How did we get to late page 3 before people pointed out that this deviant piece of shit is a "sexuality expert" speaking on parents changing baby diapers? There's not a goddamn thing sexual about that... unless you need to be removed from society.

Fire up the ovens and put this troon in feet first. Slowly.
