Meg holding back and not making a statement is probably the wiser thing to do at the moment, and if he has gone to his job to ask for legal help that's likely what they would recommend he do. Cops don't usually get involved with this kind of thing unless genuine threats of physical harm or a no-contact order has been breached. If they are, they typically recommend contacting your lawyer and duking it out in civil court; while defamation is sometimes a criminal offense, that typically only results once financial and /or social damages have been accrued. Unless Adi has been knocking on Meg's door and leaving threatening letters in his mailbox, a civil suit is as far as this kind of thing tends to go without a no-contact order in place. Personally, I think Meg should've blocked her a long time ago and talked to someone about getting a no-contact, as it would've pre-emptively prevented this kind of thing, or at least it would make litigation faster.

I also want to make things very clear; if Meg is proven to be a notorious rapist by more than a throwaway sock account, then he'll be dropped like a hot potato and may even be added to my list in the Zoosadism thread if it's been found that he was misleading people; not as a zoo, but as a bargain-bin rapist. The furry fandom is already full of shitheads hurting people and animals, and I have exactly 0 sympathy for those who are demonstrably proven to do so. The only reason Trish isn't on the list yet herself is because most of the accusations of her animal abuse and neglect are from a guy who plays the same slanderous games she does, so his statements are not credible enough in my eyes to add.

On that note, knowing Trish and knowing the circumstances around her last breakup (and prior friendships) where she habitually goes around slandering people by calling them dogfuckers, rapists, chomos, etc. until she gets bored and does something else, I think it's safe to assume that she is creating sockpuppets to harass people like Meg and Luna and later justifying it by fabricating evidence of a confession from a "victim". Whether she is doing this by having a friend conduct the other half of the conversation for her, or doing it herself, remains to be seen but I have most of my money on this being what's going down.

It's also a possibility that Adiago is engaging with another bad actor who is motivated to ruin Megalo's reputation through her, knowing she never checks her sources and instead goes with whatever evidence suits her narrative. Monglor immediately comes to mind in this scenario; he was in close contact with Megalo for some time while he was dating Adiago and chimped out earlier in the thread about hating both of them because Meg wouldn't listen to the advice of a known stalker and leave (even if it would've been in his best interest). It's very possible that, if Adi really is an "innocent" party in this (which I sincerely doubt), the information she thinks proves his family involvement could've been something that came up during Meg's conversations with Roro on Telegram.

Which leads into another point that has been brought up over and over again. According to Adiago (again, I'm taking her statement with a dumptruck of salt), Meg confessed to her that he had sexually assaulted a gay man in the shower right before they started dating. And she, for whatever fucking reason, decided that that wasn't worth reporting to the police at the time, and still has chosen not to. Her own narrative to condemn Meg has done nothing but make it very clear that she is willing to defend and stand by a supposed rapist if it means she gets a good fuck and financing, so at the end of the day I would actually consider her equally bad if not worse, depending on how true or false these accusations are. She is a self-admitted enabler who is willing to allow people around her to get hurt if it means maintaining her own lifestyle. So, where is this so-called guy that Adi claims Meg assaulted? Surely he'd be interested in pressing charges, or at least having his own statement made, but I guess his side of the story doesn't matter because she still hates gay men.

In regards to tattoos, she could always claim to subscribe to the Reform Judaism sect, where an intrinsic belief is that religion, especially Judaism has to has to evolve with society and modernize. Because tattoos can be removed, albeit painfully, they're not entirely frowned upon by Reform sects because they're no longer viewed as permanent marks on the body. You can have tattoos and be buried in their cemeteries as a true follower.

That being said, if Trish wants to claim to be a Reform follower, that would require also accommodating for the larger LGBTQ+ community, including and especially transgender people. Reform Judaism was also intrinsic in pushing for same sex marriages, gender equality, and trans rights throughout the decades, and it comes from the simple principle that we are all crafted in the image of G-d, who cannot be defined by gender or sexuality, and as such, we are who we are designed to be, straight, gay, pan, cis, trans, etc. This is a major part of Reform Judaism and Trish can't even subscribe to the basic theology about acceptance.

Her talking about making cats "disappear" is lining up damn near perfect with accusations and claims earlier on in the thread through her LizardLogics account and others that she habitually kills them, whether by shooting them or bringing owned pets to the veterinary office to get put down.

I personally don't agree with having outdoor animals at all without proper fencing and observation, but it's very telling that Adi only seems to reserve this loathing for felines and not stray dogs, who coincidentally mauled someone's elderly grandfather in Florida less than a month ago.
