The only time a cat will sleep in it's litter box is when they're stressed out and/or traumatized and are using it as a last ditch effort to feel safe by being surrounded by their own scent, aka territory.

Dogs are great and wonderful creatures and all, but Trish's sheer lack of knowledge about cats and her basis of that ignorance as a reason as to why dogs are the superior animal, is fucking hilarious. While cats are a serious issue with their hunting of native wildlife, it's ironic that in regards to her beloved Florida, she isn't pitching a fit over the catastrophic ecological damage that invasive reptiles and amphibians have done. The exotic pet trade, which she loves so much, is also responsible for the overpopulation of iguanas, Burmese pythons, tegus, etc that are currently wreaking havoc on the southern US. Or is it because they're based ~reptiles~?

But yeah, dogs need space, crate training isn't a bad thing when done properly, but they need to go outdoors as well and exercise, not just do their business.

Also, last time I checked, cats don't willingly eat feces unless they're incredibly sick. So, yeah.

fuzzy toed kind? most dogs aren’t fans of randomly getting wet, my chihuahuas and terriers are good examples; but they still go outside to pee and poo even if i have to carry them out.

her hatred of cats is so funny because everyone knows cats will not sleep nor eat anywhere near their litter box. my brothers cat sleeps in his room or mine on the bed sometimes or his computer chair.

also letting dogs out longer than a few seconds isn’t healthy, they need to be walked. specially high energy breeds like hers for more than 30 minutes.

I have no idea where she's getting that this applies to dogs with longer fur. I have multiple dogs of different breeds and it's the short furred ones that hate getting their feet wet and the long furred ones that love to play in puddles. It's just her finding excuses as to how she treats her dogs isn't abusive/neglectful.

Cats don’t shit where they sleep either unless there’s absolutely no way to get to where they usually go. Loving her not addressing anything about her dogs being intact or being messes when they’re inside, just how she’s right about crates because... puppy training. Also heartworm isn’t a problem if you get them tested and on preventatives regularly.

Just to sperge for a second....she clearly doesn’t know a lot about cats, and even that could be excused for the fact that she’s not a cat person if it wasn’t for her preaching incorrect information like “Cats sleep where they go to the bathroom.” However, looking at the fact that she claims to be a dog lover and knows SO MUCH about dogs, let’s break down what we know:

1) Keeps her dogs cooped up in doors, despite them being large(ish) breeds who need walks and exercise. ESPECIALLY a hearding breed like an Aussie.
2) Says she does this to prevent heartworms, which responsible dog owners should be giving preventative medicatuons to their dogs on a monthly basis. She’s cleary too cheap and irresponsible to do that.
3) Says her dogs are free of fleas because she washes them, however washing them in and of itself does NOT keep fleas off and anyone who has had dogs their entire life would be well aware of this. You need special shampoo to get fleas and flea larve off of your dog, and that’s STILL not preventative. Only drops, an oral medication, etc. will keep fleas off of your dog in a preventative manner. Again, something responsible dog owners should always do. She bitched a while back because the city of Columbia didn’t spray mosquite pesticides one year and she was pissed about it because she didn’t want fleas on her dog. Preventative medications kill fleas, and the fact that she will not buy them and use them shows what an irresponsible and cheap dog owner she is, again.
4) Got her Aussie from a back yard breeder who breeds dog coat patterns and generations dangerously close together.
5) Not only has an in-tact male, but an in-tact female. Despite not wanting puppies, she refuses to get her animals altered or even just the male fixed, which would honestly solve the problem. Male dogs cost next to NOTHING to get fixed and many clinics will even do it for free income granted. There’s no excuse why Neo shouldb’t be altered.

All in all, despite her preaching about being such a loving and doating dog owner, Trish is a dangerously irresponsible, cheap, ignorant dog owner. And NOTHING she says or preaches changes this fact.

And her encouraging people to trace is hilarious. She traced for YEARS, and now she’s trying to play it off like she only used it as a learning mechanism.

These’s a difference between using something as a learning mechanism, and actually PLACING your name on it and trying to pass it off as your own work. They’re two completely different things, Trish. And you doubled down HARD and spat viciously at people who rightfully called you out for it, refusing to admit any wrong doing. Don’t act like you were innocently using tracing to learn.

The carp thing on twitter is apparently a leaked marketing tool that the website was going to roll out, and people found it and went crazy with it. Megalo isn't allowed to have harmless fun with the rest of the site, I guess.

Based on how Trish at some point said she was only going to be posting art to her twitter and then not two days later was back to posting personal shit, I don't believe her for one second that she's leaving social media.

I am so amused at that post about tracing, not just because of her history but how she doesn't know how to use it as a learning tool for herself. (lol @ her saying "certain friends of mine" as though she has friends that she won't tolerate tracing from) She traces reptile heads at times when she's practicing drawing her sona, but it looks terrible and you can tell from her normal art that she isn't retaining much if anything at all. She can't even map on the hairlizard features in a way that looks like it makes any sense. I found a legitimate "how to draw" somewhere where she does just that, but I can't locate it online anymore. It may have been a leaked patreon thing, now that I think about it, as the site where people would post leaked patreon stuff has been shut down.

Fun fact: The vast majority of historians agree that the individual known as Jesus of Nazareth existed. Jesus is actually mentioned in several non-Christian texts from shortly after his crucifixion. These texts ironically include works from Jewish historian Josephus.
