A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

It's amazing that these organizations push people into coming out as trans or homosexual in areas where its illegal and then act shocked at the fallout, especially in areas where the fallout is death.
In case you live in an Islamic shithole like Iran, it's better to seek asylum first and do activism later, not the other way round... But what do I know. Maybe her family is/was influential enough she thought she could get away with it.

‘Casa Ruby should be dissolved: report’

The Wanda Alston Foundation, which a D.C. Superior Court judge named last month as the city’s receiver for the LGBTQ community services center Casa Ruby, issued a preliminary finding in an interim report filed in court on Tuesday, Sept. 13, declaring that “Casa Ruby should be dissolved in an orderly manner pursuant to D.C. Code.”
The seven-page Receiver’s First Interim Report says an ongoing examination of Casa Ruby’s financial records, which it says were in disarray, indicates outstanding liabilities exceeding $2 million.
“Other than an assortment of donated furnishings at the two leased properties, there are no other meaningful assets,” the report says.

It says the Alston Foundation took immediate steps to secure financial records and sensitive documents pertaining to Casa Ruby’s clients and employees that were abandoned in two leased offices in the Dupont Circle area.
“Casa Ruby’s landlords and employees had gone unpaid for some time and both sites were abandoned and appeared to have been ransacked,” the report says. “The documents which remained were in complete disarray and would require time to collect, organize, and analyze,” it says.
“Eighty percent of the critical records and files at 1635 Connecticut Avenue [N.W.] have been secured and removed,” the report says, enabling the receiver to vacate the property prior to an eviction underway by the landlord.
“However, additional time may be required to go through the records and files at 2033 Connecticut Avenue,” according to the report, which says may require the court to order a temporary stop on the pending eviction at that property.
Superior Court Judge Danya A. Dayson issued an order on Aug. 12 naming the Alston Foundation as the Casa Ruby receiver at the recommendation of the Office of the D.C. Attorney General. The AG’s office stated in court filings that Casa Ruby and its founder and longtime executive director, Ruby Corado, had violated the city’s Nonprofit Corporations Act by failing to account for the expenditure funds provided by D.C. government grants and private donors.
The judge’s order came one day after she approved the AG office’s request that Casa Ruby be placed under receivership and two weeks after the judge approved the AG’s request that all of Casa Ruby’s bank and credit card accounts be frozen.
D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine said his office’s action put forward in a civil lawsuit against Casa Ruby came after he opened an investigation that found the LGBTQ community services center had failed to pay landlords more than $1 million in back rent and could no longer pay the salaries of its employees, forcing the organization to cease most of its operations before a full shutdown in late July.
The receiver’s report filed in court on Monday says in its capacity as receiver, the Alston Foundation attempted to contact Ruby Corado for any additional documents or information related to Casa Ruby’s finances, but Corado did not respond to an email message requesting the information.
“The Receiver did reach out to the D.C. Attorney General’s Office to advise them of potential criminal misconduct that it had uncovered and to make arrangements for the transfer of items deemed to have a significant potential evidentiary value,” the report says. “The details of those discussions and arrangements are omitted from this report in the interest of protecting anticipated ongoing criminal investigations,” it says.
The Alston Foundation, a longstanding LGBTQ organization, has provided housing and support services for D.C. homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth since its founding in 2008.
In her Aug. 12 order naming the Alston Foundation as the Casa Ruby receiver, Judge Dayson directed the Alston Foundation to submit a preliminary status report by Sept. 13 on its findings on whether Casa Ruby had or could obtain the financial resources to resume operating as an organization supporting LGBTQ people in need, such as emergency housing and immigrant related services, or whether it should be dissolved in an orderly manner.
The judge also asked that the report assess whether the Casa Ruby board of directors “should be reconstituted” following allegations by the D.C. Attorney General’s office that the board for years failed to provide legally required oversight of Casa Ruby’s finances and actions by Ruby Corado.
“Casa Ruby’s Board of Directors failed to provide any meaningful oversight and Casa Ruby should be dissolved in an orderly manner pursuant to D.C. Code 29-412.23,” the Alston Foundation interim report states.
Alston Foundation Executive Director June Crenshaw and its Board of Directors chairperson, Darrin Glymph, couldn’t immediately be reached to determine whether they might reconsider the recommendation of dissolving Casa Ruby as an organization if new members could be recruited to serve on the Casa Ruby board.
The judge, who is expected to make the final decision on the fate of Casa Ruby, called all parties in the case, including Ruby Corado, to appear in court or appear virtually through a phone or video hookup on Sept. 29 for a status hearing.

Court: Prison must exempt Muslim inmate from strip search by transgender guards

excerpt:
The search of Rufus West took place in 2016 at Green Bay Correctional Institution. West sued after he was denied exemptions from such future searches, and was threatened with discipline if he continued to complain. A federal district judge dismissed the lawsuit, finding West hadn't shown a substantial burden to his free exercise of religion. Even if he had, the search was legal as the least restrictive way to further a compelling governmental interest, the judge found.

The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals recently reversed, and granted relief to West.

Joan of Arc becomes non-binary icon in London play

Archive: https://archive.ph/wip/KheOP
A new play in London has reinvented France's sainted Joan of Arc as a non-binary icon, who rejects female identity as they struggle to find a place in a man's world.

"I, Joan" had not even been performed at Shakespeare's Globe theater in August when Time Out magazine called it "the most controversial play of the year".

The first images, showing Joan with breasts bound, were enough to set social networks alight.
Hardly a month goes by in Britain without a battle about gender identity and the play has given all sides in the debate fresh ammunition.

The play about France's patron saint, the 'maid of Orleans' who repelled the English in the Hundred Years War in the 15th century, was written by Charlie Josephine, with Joan played by Isobel Thom.
Both Josephine and Thom were born female but define themselves as non-binary.
The staging of the play at the landmark theater on the South Bank of the River Thames is firmly contemporary, with no period costume.

The wife of the king's eldest son or dauphin, the later king Charles VII, is played by a black woman. Modern choreography defines the fight scenes.
But Joan's story is still told -- from meeting the dauphin and fighting battles to standing trial and being burnt at the stake in 1431.

The question of gender runs throughout.
"To be born a girl and you are not a girl. God, why did you put me in this body?" a short-haired Joan asks at one point, wearing men's clothes.
Joan rejects the dresses that people expect them to put on.
"I am not a woman. I do not fit that word," they say. One of her friends suggests: "Maybe your word has not been invented yet?"

Her allies then suggest she uses the pronoun "they", prompting huge cheers from the audience. Opponents in the play call her "she".
At Joan's trial for heresy, one sentence is repeated by the judges: "Do you think it is well to take men's dress? Even if it is unlawful?"
"What are you so afraid of?" Joan replies, laughing. "I am not a woman. I am a warrior."

Feminists such as Heather Binning, founder of the UK-wide Women's Rights Network, are against the portrayal.
"She experienced what she experienced because she was a woman. You can't change that," she said.
"This lobby group is hijacking all our inspirational women from history. This ideology is insulting to women.
"There's a lot of women we don't know about because history was written by men for men."
But Josephine and Thom defended the play.

"I forgot I was blaspheming a saint," Josephine wrote in The Guardian.
"Nobody is taking historical Joan away from you," insisted Thom on Twitter. "Nobody is taking away your Joan, whatever Joan may mean to you...This show is art: it's an exploration, it's imagination."
Shakespeare's Globe took the same approach, likening the interpretation in "I Joan" to the approach of the celebrated English playwright.

"Shakespeare did not write historically accurate plays. He took figures of the past to ask questions about the world around him," it said. "Our writers of today are no different. History has provided countless and wonderful examples of Joan portrayed as a woman.
"This production is simply offering the possibility of another point of view. That is the role of theatre: to simply ask the question 'imagine if?'"

Re-examining Joan's life through a contemporary lens is also taking hold in her native France.
"It's the Zeitgeist," said Valerie Toureille, a university professor specialising in the Hundred Years War and the author of a 2020 book on Joan. "It doesn't shock me. There are women who decided to take a different path from both men and women. That's the case with Joan of Arc."

Asked about Joan's wearing of men's clothes, she said: "It was for protection against rape and it's much easier to ride a horse as a man than looking like an Amazon."

Nevertheless, for Toureille, men's clothes on Joan was the key issue at the heresy trial.
"This is material proof that backs up the religious argument. For men of the Church, Joan in these clothes went beyond her status as a woman."

'I was deprived of my liberty in an unnecessary and undignified way': Gender-critical Catholic mother blasts Surrey Police who 'swooped on her home and arrested her in front of her traumatised children without a warrant over series of "malicious" posts'

  • Caroline Farrow shared thread online detailing experience with Surrey Police
  • She has said two police officers 'forced' their way into her home last night
  • Row stems from a series of anonymous posts shared on forums on Kiwi Farms
  • Mrs Farrow is accused of posting 'malicious' content and 'harassing' other users
  • But the mother-of-five and journalist has strenuously denied the allegations
A gender-critical Catholic mother has blasted police after officers 'swooped on her home and arrested her in front of her children' over a series of 'malicious' posts on chat board KiwiFarms.

Caroline Farrow, a journalist and mother-of-five, shared a lengthy thread online detailing her experience with Surrey Police after two police officers reportedly 'forced' their way into her home to arrest her on Monday night.

While in the middle of preparing a roast dinner for her priest husband Robin and five children on Sunday, two police officers rang her at home and allegedly demanded she join them for an interview under caution - with one 'putting his hand on the front door to stop her from closing it'.

The row stems from a series of anonymous posts shared on forums on Kiwi Farms in June - in which Mrs Farrow is accused of posting 'malicious' content and 'harassing' other users on the online platform.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said officers attended the address in Guildford as part of a probe into 'allegations of malicious communications and harassment' , adding that officers 'seized a number of electronic devices'.

Temporary Detective Chief Inspector David Bentley said the devices had been seized as police continue to 'gather further evidence and carry out an investigation to prove or disprove the allegation'.

Mrs Farrow has strenuously denied the accusations, explaining instead that she was playing the organ during Mass at the Holy Angels Church, Aldershot.

Speaking to GB news yesterday evening, Mrs Farrow said: 'I have been arrested for what was a twitter spat about gender issues.'

She explained how the officers confiscated electronic devices, including some at her husband's parish office next door that her autistic son uses for home schooling.

Mrs Farrow told of how she was also taken outside and searched before she was taken to a police station, where she was kept for several hours.

She said: 'One minute I was making dinner for my kids and then next I was having my socks checked for drugs. This took up an entire shift. What an absolute waste of police’s time.

'I was then shown other material that police were accusing me of sending. None of them were my doing.'

Mrs Farrow was released under investigation in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Mrs Farrow later shared images purportedly showing her being frisked by officers in her driveway, claimed her electronic devices were seized and said she had to surrender her jewellery before being interviewed at a police station in Guildford.

She tweeted: 'When read my rights and told that what I said could be used in evidence against me, I replied that women don’t have an [aubergine emoji - often used online to refer to a penis].'

Farrow, who works at the UK and Ireland director of Catholic campaigning website CitizenGo, said the whole ordeal had left her feeling 'harassed and anxious'.

She tweeted: 'I know it’s procedure, but one minute I am cooking some roast chicken for dinner, the next I am having my socks searched for drugs, because of “insulting posts on the internet.”

'It’s scary that the police can take someone’s word for something and just come and arrest you. All they could say is “we’ve had an allegation which needs to be investigated"'.

Sentences for those found guilty under the Malicious Communications Act can be as long as two years.

Mrs Farrow, who once complained of her life being 'invaded and dominated by insane trans rights activists', has previously been publicly supported by Harry Potter author JK Rowling.

Mrs Farrow was investigated by the same police force in 2019 over allegations she had used the wrong pronoun to describe a transgender woman.

The Catholic campaigner, known for her deeply held religious views, and Susie Green, the head of transgender children's charity Mermaids, clashed on ITV's Good Morning Britain about Girl Guides allowing children who have changed gender to join the organisation.

Mrs Farrow later called Ms Green's daughter Jackie 'him' instead of 'her' on Twitter and said Mermaids promoted child abuse. Five weeks later, Ms Green complained to police.

One of Mrs Farrow's tweets read: 'What she did to her own son [the youngest person in the world to undergo transgender surgery] is illegal. She mutilated him by having him castrated and rendered sterile while still a child.'

The four-month Surrey Police investigation into Mrs Farrow, which prompted much controversy when made public, was hastily dropped as it hurtled towards full-blown fiasco.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: 'On Monday, October 3, officers attended an address in the Guildford area as part of an investigation into allegations of malicious communications (sending of indecent, grossly offensive messages, threats, or information) and harassment.

'A 48-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of both offences.

'A number of electronic devices were seized as potential evidence from this address under section 19 of PACE. Where an offence is alleged to have been committed on an electronic device, for example, it may hold a key piece of evidence and may routinely be seized during an investigation.

'The woman was taken to Guildford Police Station where she was interviewed. She has now been released under investigation and inquiries remain ongoing'.

Temporary Detective Chief Inspector David Bentley said: 'There is significant commentary on social media around the perceived circumstances behind this investigation.

'We do not have the freedom of detailing every stage of our inquiries or the specifics of an allegation on social media as it is critical we do not pre-empt or prejudice any future proceedings at any stage.

'When we receive an allegation of a crime, in this instance one where a grossly offensive message is said to have been communicated, it is our job to assess it alongside any available evidence to identify if an offence has been committed.

'If it has, we gather further evidence and carry out an investigation to prove or disprove the allegation. That is exactly the process that is being followed in this case.

'The investigation into these allegations is very much ongoing and the relevant inquiries are being carried out.

'We have a duty to protect the integrity of an investigation, so we will not be providing a running commentary on this case.'

Okay. I heard pig cop David Bentley rapes children. And this is why he acts as a tool for pedophiles.

Now do your "investigation," pigs.

Ahh, now they're complaining about people having the correct sex and name on their death certificates. Because obviously there are no other problems in Portland.

Portland area health officials are calling for change after finding that death certificates misgendered more than half of transgender or nonbinary people who died in the decade ending last year.

A combined research effort by Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas county epidemiologists, published Aug. 31 in the Journal of Public Health Management & Practice and made available to the public free of charge for two weeks starting Wednesday, found that nearly 30 Portlanders’ gender identities were erased after death because there is no system to ensure those identities are recorded when people die.

The accuracy of death records is important not only for individuals and families but because they are used for research and can affect how federal money is directed. While previous studies have shown transgender people are more likely to die by suicide and homicide, for example, the data is limited because neither Oregon nor the federal government have systems to track gender identity upon death.

“As a privileged, white, cis female, seeing this was devastating,” Washington County epidemiologist Kimberly Repp said in an interview of her and other county epidemiologists’ research results.

The researchers found that at multiple bureaucratic steps in the death process, there is no consistent way to identify if someone is transgender or nonbinary. And they found that for 47 Portland area people identified as transgender or nonbinary in the detailed reports produced after a death investigation from 2011-2021, 29 were misgendered in the official record.

“If you extrapolate that to the national level, we are significantly and very seriously undercounting deaths in our transgender persons,” Repp said, with the likely consequence that health officials don’t know the scale of fatal violence transgender people are subjected to.

Most case management software doesn’t have a field for gender identity, the researchers said, which is a problem if someone’s sex at birth doesn’t match their gender. They also found that next-of-kin dictate the sex listed on a person’s death certificate, which is a problem if they aren’t aware of or disagree with the person’s identity.

To address the problem, the researchers made several recommendations. They suggested that gender identity be trackable in the software officials use to track deaths and be a federally mandated field in death certificates. They also suggested that death investigators be trained in how and why to track gender identity.

“From the data standpoint, this is a simple problem to fix,” Clackamas County epidemiologist Molly Mew said in a statement. “The systems just need more inclusive boxes.”

Pedophile Sympathizer On Board Sponsoring New LGBT Daycare Project in Berlin

Archive
By Anna Slatz - October 3, 2022
A gay rights organization in Berlin, Germany, is set launch a new pilot program next spring by opening two daycare centers with a special focus on providing the children education on LGBT issues. But disturbingly, an academic with a lengthy history of normalizing pedophilia is one of three people on the board overseeing the organization.

Earlier this year, Berlin’s Gay Counseling Services (Berliner Schwulenberatung), an LGBT rights group which has been serving the gay community for 40 years, announced it would be launching a “diverse” living space in Berlin’s Südkreuz area in 2023.

Roughly translated to the “Diverse Living Place,” the complex will host 69 apartments, a dedicated geriatric facility, a restaurant, and more — all of which will aim to provide “multigenerational housing for homosexual, bisexual, transsexual and intersex (LGBTI*)” people. The stated goal of the initiative is to create a space where residents can live “without fear of exclusion due to sexual or gender identity.”

In addition to living quarters and common areas, the Place will also have two daycare centers to accommodate approximately 90 children in total. The daycare facilities will have a specialized focus on LGBT education.

“Many schools and daycare centers still struggle to educate when it comes to homosexuality, transsexuality, and intersex with respect with children,” the daycare’s about page reads, “We want to change that now.”

It continues: “The topic of LGBTI* is not a subject that is only for adults. Everyone is responsible for one’s own identity, own wishes and ideas about life, love, friendship and partnership, even the smallest among us.”

The concept for the daycare pilot program was coordinated with Berlin’s Senate Department for Youth, Education and Family.

Disturbingly, one of the members of the board overseeing and sponsoring the Gay Counseling Services and their project is Rüdiger Lautmann, a German sociologist and gay rights advocate who has a lengthy history of normalizing pedophilia.

Lautmann is a former professor at the University of Bremen, where he taught from 1971 to 2001. Most notably, Lautmann authored a book titled The Lust for Children: A Portrait of Pedophiles. The book is based on his interviews with 60 men who admitted to sexually abusing young children, primarily boys.

“They really love the children, read their every wish, organize trips, buy toys and are only comfortable around children,” Lautmann says of the 60 pedophiles he interviewed.

Released in 1994, the book became popular with pedophiles for its sympathetic portrayal of adult attraction to children, which Lautmann described as a sexual orientation, and its repeated assertions that children are capable of sexual autonomy.

“For me, it is is very clear that there do exist relationships that do not require any intervention,” Lautmann wrote, “The children cling to their lovers, and can leave them any moment if they choose.”

In his book, Lautmann seeks to categorize what types of children pedophiles are attracted to, and conducted in-depth surveys of pedophiles on the characteristics, body types, and personality traits they most desired.

He features dozens of direct quotes from the pedophiles he interviewed graphically describing the sex acts they performed with the children they abused, some as young as 4 years-old.

“Even with a four-year-old something can happen,” Lautmann writes, “The pedophile, of course, wants his penis to be stimulated manually or orally. Only rarely will the children comply with this.”

Lautmann describes cues for “childish consent,” and suggests that pedophiles do not use force to secure compliance from children, but instead allows them to lead sexual activity.

“The vast majority of the encounters described appear to be based on consent,” Lautmann writes, prefacing descriptions of child sexual abuse by his interviewees. He also rejects the “prevailing line,” which he describes as an “unsatisfactory” argument that children are incapable of giving consent, stating that it is “based on deductions from normative foundations.” Lautmann also accuses “campaigns against child abuse” of “profiting” from the “strictness and simplicity” of current laws.

“Excited and attractively dressed, these little people – not to mention all their other qualities – embody something of the sensual side of our world; at least that’s how children are staged today,” writes Lautmann. “Pedophilia brings out something that no one wanted, but which objectively follows from the desire to beautify childhood.”

Following the book’s release, Lautmann spoke at an event hosted by pro-pedophile advocacy organization, the Specialist and Support Group for Pedophilia (Fach Und Selbsthilfegruppe Paedophilie).

In 1995, Lautmann repeated the thesis of his book in an article for Pro Familia, a leading NGO which provides resources on sexual health. In Pro Familia’s official magazine, Lautmann’s article states: “Our study defines the term pedophile, distinguishes it from incest, abuse and sadism. We prove that such men exist. The thesis is therefore: The desire for a child is an independent and differentiated sexual form. Pedophilia is therefore a sexual orientation like any other and no longer a perversion.”

Eventually, Lautmann was forced to distance himself from his work after facing tremendous backlash. But he continued working closely with other prominent figures in the push to normalize pedophilia as an oppressed sexual orientation.

Throughout his career, Lautmann maintained a close relationship with notorious pedophile sexologist Helmut Kentler.

Beginning in 1969, Kentler’s project had placed foster children in the homes of pedophiles in an attempt to test his theory that pedophiles could make good foster fathers. Kentler had theorized that the pedophile’s attraction to children would result in a strong drive to take care of them.

“These people were able to put up with these [mentally] retarded boys only because they were in love with them, infatuated with them, crazy about them,” Kentler explained in 1970.

He also suspected the children would develop meaningful, loving relationships with their pedophile foster fathers, and would not experience any negative consequences if sexually abused by them.

Kentler’s project was approved by the Berlin Senate, and the pedophile foster fathers received monthly allowances from the government to care for the orphaned children.

Lautmann was also involved in a 1979 motion calling for the deletion of Section 176 of the German legal code, which would effectively eliminate the age of consent — a political goal that was supported by Kentler.

In 2008, Lautmann wrote Kentler’s obituary for the Humanist Union (HU), the board of which he sat on at the time. The Union describes itself as an “independent civil rights organization,” but had maintained coordination with a working group on human sexuality which explicitly advocated for the legalization of adult-child sex.

In addition to serving in a leadership position for the HU, Lautmann was a member of the pedophile lobbying organization Humane Sexuality Working Group (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Humane Sexualität, AHS), a research project which pushed the narrative that “pedosexual contacts” could be “consensual” despite the age and power difference between a child and an adult. Lautmann published for the magazine, advocating for a legal separation between sex offenders and pedophiles. The HU only officially distanced itself from the AHS in 2004 following concerns over optics.

Lautmann has often warned against “moral panic” – a term often used in pedophile circles to portray those with child safeguarding concerns as unreasonable.

News of Lautmann’s position on the board spearheading the LGBT daycare centers featured prominently on the website of an active pro-pedophile lobbying group, Krumme-13 (K13Online), in a post which asserts that leaders within the organization “welcome the objectives” of the childcare facilities.

Krumme-13 advocates for lowering the age of consent to 12, and states: “Children from the age of 12 can decide for themselves whether they want to enter into a pedosexual relationship or not. Children’s right to sexual self-determination must be protected by the Basic Law.”

The blog post references a 1996 publication Lautmann coordinated for the AHS titled “Children and Sexuality” (Kind und Sexualität) which features writings from several prominent pro-pedophile activists. In addition to the “Children and Sexuality” pamphlet, the AHS privately printed a brochure on the topic of “Sexuality Between Children and Adults” in 1988, which argued for the decriminalization of pedophilic activities.

Krumme-13 is spearheaded by pedophile lobbyist Dieter Gieseking, who has filed a total of three petitions with the Bundestag, or parliament, calling on members of the political parties SPD (Socialist Democrats), FDP (Free Democratic Party) and the Greens to agree to an amendment to Article 3 which would protect pedophilia as a “sexual identity.”

Woke University of Southern Maine students demand education professor be fired after she told class that there are only two sexes

Archive
  • University of Southern Maine graduate students walked out of class this month and are demanding officials replace their professor over her remarks
  • Christy Hammer, a professor of education, allegedly said only two biological sexes exist during a 'Creating a Positive Learning Environment' class
  • The discussion began during a September 7 class but was revisited on the 14th
  • It saw 21 out of 22 students walk out and the professor refusing to backtrack
  • The university has now suggested that an 'alternative' section for the class be created but is not planning on removing its professor
A group of students at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine are calling for their professor to be fired after she said in class only two sexes exist.

Christy Hammer, a professor of education, allegedly made the statement during a heated debate about gender identity in her 'Creating a Positive Learning Environment' class, causing an uproar among the graduate students.

Only one student agreed with the educator.

The rest maintained both biological sexes and social genders are on a spectrum.

Others attending the the class say most agreed that a spectrum exists for both gender and biological sex.

The point was first made during class on September 7, but was repeated a week later after student Elizabeth Leibiger, who is non-binary and was absent the previous week, brought up the topic again.

She then said she felt 'under personal attack' after the professor again said only two sexes exist.

'I asked [Hammer] how many sexes there were,' Leibiger said. 'She said, 'Two.' I felt under personal attack.'

Biologically, there are only two sexes. Men have XY chromosomes, while women have XX chromosomes. Progressives say gender can have a broader spectrum than sex.

But anti-woke campaigners warning that the fixation on denying the biological reality that only two sexes exist is absurd, and potentially puts people's health at risk.

Almost the entire class of 22 students walked out, all except one demanding a meeting to be held with the university's School of Education and Human Development.

'I let her know I didn't think she was qualified to teach a class about positive learning environments. It's the ultimate irony,' Leibiger said to Fox News.

A restorative justice meeting was held, but Professor Hammer's position didn't change.

Two dozen graduate students in the class continued to demand that the university replace Hammer, believing her to be transphobic.

Students are now refusing to return to the classroom in which she teaches and will only attend class if a new educator be appointed.

The class is a requirement to complete the graduate-level Extended Teacher Education Program and become a certified teacher in Maine.

'We are aware of this situation and are taking steps to provide students with the support needed,' Interim Provost Adam Tuchinsky told the Bangor Daily News.

Another student suggested Hammer either undergo diversity training or simply retire.

The university has now suggested that an 'alternative' section for the class will be created but that the professor will not be removed.

'We have developed an alternative plan for this class and will be opening a new section of this course for those students who would like to move. The original section taught by professor Hammer will continue for any student who wishes to remain in that class,' a university spokesperson said.

University officials have not revealed how many students will be moving to the new class.

'It's our job as educators to grow and change, address our biases, and above all else, protect every one of our students,' Leibiger said. 'I think that the next step USM needs to take is being clear what accountability will look like for Christy Hammer.'

There appear to be plenty of people happy to support Hammer's position with almost 2,000 people signing a petition for her to keep her job.

Wrangles over sex and gender issues continue to roil campuses across the US. Transgender rights supporter say they wish to boost visibility and equality for a small, vulnerable section of society.

Critics have likened the issue to a mania they say is eroding women's rights, and convincing youngsters to seek potentially irreversible medical treatments it is feared they could one day regret.

Irish gender affirmation surgeon based in Florida is reported over “false promotion” in TikToks

An Irish plastic surgeon based in Florida who has a huge social media following has been reported to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for alleged false promotion of services to under-18s.

Five organisations led by Genspect — an international alliance founded by Irish psychotherapist Stella O’Malley that has concerns about gender-affirmative treatment of young people — filed its complaint against Dr Sidhbh Gallagher in February.

Dr Gallagher, who runs Gallagher Plastic Surgery in Miami with the help of her sister Neasa, has amassed a huge social media following on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook through her posts on transgender affirmation surgery.

The surgeon, who is originally from Co Louth and who studied in University College Dublin before moving to America, has over 270,000 followers on her main TikTok account and another 7,000 under “TheVagicianMD”.

In 2019 she met Simon Harris, the then health minister, to push for increased surgical capacity for gender reassignment surgery in Ireland. Dr Gallagher also features as one of 20 inspiring women in See It, Be It a book whose proceeds go to non-profit groups.

She has described herself as “Dr Teetus Deletus” online, in reference to her surgical removal of breast tissue for women transitioning to men. In her TikTok videos she regularly describes the procedure as “yeet the teets”. “Yeet” is slang for forcefully throwing something away.

Dr Gallagher has said she does up to 500 gender-affirmation surgeries a year. One a month involves a person under the age of 18.

In the complaint filed with the FTC, it is alleged Gallagher and her firm have “engaged in unfair, false, and deceptive practices in the aggressive advertising and marketing to minors of their plastic surgery services, namely mastectomies of healthy female breasts, as proven safe, effective, and medically necessary”.

The complaint includes examples of comments from social media users who say they are going to save their money so they can use Dr Gallagher when they become old enough.

The 14-page document says the videos are “part of a brand marketing scheme designed to create an online media persona for Gallagher as an entertaining celebrity surgeon in order to appeal to hundreds of thousands of underage social media users, advertise Gallagher’s ‘gender affirming’ plastic surgery services, and sell them to a vulnerable and impressionable population of children and youth experiencing distress with their gender identity and developing bodies”.

The complaint alleges the posts omit the real physical and psychological risks of surgery.

One of Dr Gallagher’s former patients, Grace Lidinsky-Smith, who has detransitioned, told the Medscape medical news website earlier this year she found some of the Irish surgeon’s TikToks painted a “falsely rosy picture”. In one video Dr Gallagher wears a red dress and flips her hair while the text says sadness in post-op patients is “temporary”.

The FTC would not say if it was investigating the complaint. Dr Gallagher did not respond to requests for comment. She told Medscape she used “gimmicky” terms because they are “the words of the community I serve” and this helped put patients at ease.

She said she followed standards that required mental health evaluations so the risk of regret in her patients “is incredibly low”. She also defended operating on patients under 18 years of age.

“Doing nothing isn’t necessarily a no-harm option,” said Dr Gallagher. “Arbitrarily picking the age of 18 and sentencing that patient to another year of dysphoria might not be the best risk–benefit calculus.”

Home Secretary Suella Braverman condemns police over trans 'hate crime' poster saying they are 'undermining' confidence in force by spending 'vital resources on politically correct campaigns'

  • Leicestershire Police tweeted image of trans person talking about 'deadnaming'
  • Force encouraged trans people to make a report about incidents as a 'hate crime'
  • Suella Braverman said police forces were confused over meaning of 'hate crime'
  • She also accused forces of 'undermining confidence' in policing with Tweets
Home Secretary Suella Braverman has today challenged a police force over a trans 'hate crime' poster encouraging people to report incidents of 'deadnaming'.

The poster, shared out by Leicestershire Police, encourages people who are transgender to make a report when people purposely use their previous name.

It shows what has been described by the force as a 'stock image' of a trans woman accompanied by a quote made up by an 'experienced' officer with 'significant knowledge' of incidents of hate crime.

The Tweet has since been deleted. But responding to it, Ms Braverman a qualified barrister, said she believed police forces were 'confused' over what constitutes a 'hate crime'.

Ms Braverman also accused the force of 'undermining' confidence' in policing by spending resources on 'politically correct' campaigns - saying officers should be 'fighting actual crimes'.

And in a veiled threat, the Tory minister said senior officers who sanction such campaigns will have to personally explain them to her.

Sharing Leicestershire Police's Tweet, she said: 'This week I have seen confusion amongst police forces about what constitutes a 'hate crime'.

'The police need to enforce actual laws and fight actual crimes. Freedom of speech must be protected and a proportionate approach must be taken.

'The public need to have confidence in their police forces. This sort of thing undermines it.

'Senior police officers who allow this to happen can expect to have to explain to me why they're spending vital resources on politically correct campaigns.'

It comes after Leicestershire Police's Stay Safe Twitter account, which is shared between the force's Crime Reduction Officers and its Hate Crime Officers, shared an image encouraging people to report incidents of 'deadnaming'.

Deadnaming is the act of referring to a transgender person by the name they previously used before they transitioned into another gender.

In the Tweet, the account said: 'You can report #HateCrime via Stamp It Out.'

The Tweet then shared an image of a transgender person, named Jane, 57, from Hinkley, who said: 'I get called my previous male name on purpose, but that's not who I am.

'It can be really hurtful, especially when it's just seen as a joke.'

The Tweet has since been deleted by Leicestershire Police, following Ms Braverman's comments.

The force also said the image of the person pictured in the poster was a 'stock images obtained by the team' and that the words had been provided by an 'experienced police staff member who has significant knowledge of the different types of hate crime people can be and have been subjected to'.

Responding to the criticism, Temporary Chief Constable Rob Nixon said: 'Having examined the posts I believe we as a force should have made clear that the images were stock images and that the names given were fictitious for illustration purposes.

'For completeness, I am also having a scenario presented checked against current national hate crime recording policy.'

There are no specific homophobic, biphobic or transphobic hate crimes in UK law.

But any criminal offence can be judged a hate crime if it is proved that a person committed an offence because of prejudice or hostility to LGBT people.

A court will need evidence that the offender did show prejudice, malice and ill will, for example, because of what was said.

According to CPS, hate crimes are an incident or criminal offence which is 'perceived, by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by a hostility or prejudice based on a person's sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation'.

It can also be any incident or criminal offence which is 'perceived, by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by a hostility or prejudice against a person who is transgender or perceived to be transgender'.

Cases where it is proved that an offence was committed or motivated by prejudice can result in an uplift in a person's sentence.

It comes after Ms Braverman, who took over as Home Secretary from Priti Patel last month, also took police to task over their dealings with climate change and vegan activists.

Ms Braverman labelled the climate activists, who have been behind a number of high-profile demonstrations in recent weeks, 'so-called protesters' and added that 'democracies reach decisions in a civilised manner.'

She also lambasted the protesters for their 'imagined right to bully' the rest of the public, adding: 'Who do they think they are?'

Her criticism wasn't just reserved for the activists themselves, she also issued a stark warning to the police: 'I also expect the Metropolitan Police to do a better job of cracking down on these thugs and vandals – as does the public.'

It followed a 15th successive day of protests by Just Stop Oil, who blocked roads in central London again today, and more protests by vegan activists Animal Rebellion which included pouring milk on the floor and meat counters in luxury shops such as Fortnum and Mason.

Referring to activists such as those from Just Stop Oil and Insulate Britain, she said protesters who glue themselves to the road are 'wildy irresponsible, idiotic, and risking lives.'

She threatened future 'serious penalties in order to deter public disorder' in her article in The Mail On Sunday.

Her comments come ahead of the Public Order Bill returning to Parliament this week, which the government is hoping will strengthen officers' powers to deal with protesters more quickly. Proposed measures include more stop and search powers to enable police to look for items such as superglue.

The Public Order Bill is a major piece of legislation which will introduce a raft of new measures aimed at curbing protests.

Accusing protesters of draining police resources, Ms Braverman will use the bill to allow secretaries of state to apply for injunctions in the 'public interest' where protests are causing or threatening 'serious disruption or a serious adverse impact on public safety'.

According to the Home Office, this will include protecting access to 'essential' goods, services and key infrastructure.

Ms Braverman said: 'I will not bend to protestors attempting to hold the British public to ransom. 'Preventing our emergency services from reaching those who desperately need them is indefensible, hideously selfish and in no way in the public interest.

'This serious and dangerous disruption, let alone the vandalism, is not a freedom of expression, nor a human right. It must stop.'

The Home Office said the proposed public order legislation would create a new criminal offence of interfering with infrastructure such as oil refineries, airports, railways and printing presses. Such an offence would carry a maximum sentence of 12 months in prison, an unlimited fine, or both.

'Locking on' or 'going equipped to lock-on' to other people, objects or buildings to cause 'serious disruption' could see people imprisoned for six months or hit with an unlimited fine.

A new criminal office of tunnelling to cause serious disruption is also being created, which will carry a maximum penalty of three years' imprisonment as well as the potential for an unlimited fine. An offence of going equipped to tunnel will also be created.

The Public Order Bill will return to Parliament next week and Ms Braverman said it is 'high time' MPs back it. 'The police need strengthened and tougher powers to match the rise in self-defeating protest tactics and that's what the Public Order Bill will do.

'It's high time Parliament got behind it and put the law-abiding majority first.'

The Home Office is also promising that stop-and-search measures and new serious disruption prevention orders will support the police, with the latter targeting those repeatedly convicted of protest-related offences.

Teacher who was sacked 'after refusing to call schoolgirl, eight, by a boy's name or use male pronouns' launches judicial review over claims 'transgender affirming' policy is harming children

  • Primary school teacher refused to use male pronouns for an eight-year-old pupil
  • Teacher was sacked from job and has now launched legal action against school
  • It is thought to be first time a judicial review in a case like this has been brought
A primary school teacher who lost her job after she refused to address an eight-year-old pupil with male pronouns has launched legal action against the school's governors and the local council.

The anonymous teacher is bringing a judicial review after she was sacked by the school earlier this year, with the case to be heard in the High Court in Birmingham next week.

It is thought to be the first time a teacher has taken action of this kind, The Sunday Times reports.

The year 4 teacher was suspended last autumn after she refused to use male pronouns and a male name for a pupil, arguing that it could cause harm to the child.

She continued to challenge the school's 'transgender affirming' policies, which included allowing the child to wear boys' uniform and use the boys' toilets, before she was sacked earlier this year.

The school's head teacher had told her in September last year that a pupil in her next class would be referred to by a boy's name after the head had agreed to the child's parents' request to do so.

In an email to the head, the teacher wrote that she did not agree with calling the child 'by the requested name and pronouns [because] I think it is harmful'.

She said her email 'flustered' the head and that they responded: 'You have no choice, the family has requested it. You are in loco parentis.'

She could now be banned from teaching for life after the school reported her to the Teaching Regulation Agency.

The teacher's case is being backed by the Christian Legal Centre, the legal branch of evangelical campaign group Christian Concern.

It says it it works with clients 'taking a stand for Jesus' and handles cases for Christians 'who have found themselves in court on account of their faith'.

The group lobbies against LGBT rights, such as the government's planned conversion therapy ban, and has previously held events such about 'protecting children against the transgender agenda'.

The school's policy was backed by advice from the local council, the charity Stonewall and the Church of England diocese.

Along with other members of staff, the teacher had attended 'trans-awareness' training, which included materials provided by the local council, including some from LGBT charity Stonewall.

The resources told staff that eight in 10 transgender children realise they are transgender before they leave primary school.

The local council told The Sunday Times: 'We will not comment on a case that is subject to ongoing proceedings. Our priority is the welfare of every child educated in our school.'

Transgender children's charity Mermaids makes more than £140,000 training schools, NHS services and even barber shops

  • In just four years, Mermaid's income rocketed from £127,922 to £1.85million
  • During the period, between 2017 and 2021, it received taxpayer funding
  • £50,000 National Lottery grant over five years on hold due to ongoing probe
  • One trustee quit this month after speaking at padeophile support group event
A children's trans charity has made more than £140,000 by running training sessions for schools, NHS services and even barber shops.

In just four years, Mermaids’ overall income rocketed from £127,922 in the financial year ending 2017 to £1,847,868 by 2021.

During that period it has benefited from taxpayer funding, including a Department of Education grant towards extra schools training.

However an ongoing £500,000 National Lottery grant – due to be paid over five years – is now on hold amid a Charity Commission probe into allegations that Mermaids sent chest binders to children as young as 13 against their parents’ wishes.

The charity has sparked controversy over recent weeks with one of its trustees quitting this month after it emerged he had spoken at an event organised by a paedophile support group.

The Prime Minister has backed demands for a thorough investigation into Mermaids after an MP said it was ‘high time’ the police investigate its work.

The Department for Education, which also once helped fund Mermaids, has also removed the charity from its list of mental health and wellbeing resources for schools.

Mermaids earned more than £61,000 from training in 2020-21 alone – double what it had predicted – according to its latest accounts.

The charity said that it gave 59 training sessions at schools and others to youth choirs, NHS child and adolescent mental health services, paediatric nurses and GPs.

Other organisations to receive training included fostering agencies, universities and the police as well as social services, councils and businesses – including a barber shop.

It is not clear what these organisations paid for the sessions but Mermaids said the ‘income generated by these activities supplements training to support trans young people when little or no budget is available’ such as in schools.

Mermaids said it also collaborated on a number of fundraising partnerships last year with companies including Starbucks, Amazon Prime and Tropic Skincare.

Other corporate partners that have provided the charity ‘financial and practical support’ include Lloyds, Barclays and Tesco as well as Aon, BP and Unilever.

An earlier partnership with Starbucks and Channel 4 brought ‘millions of people to the Mermaids brand’ and a promised minimum £100,000 donation from the cafe franchise, the charity said.

Major law firms and the Financial Conduct Authority have also helped raise money for Mermaids as have other charities, including Children In Need which donated £128,000 over three years from 2016.

It has also enjoyed a flood of donations boosted by endorsements from Harry Potter actress Emma Watson and US congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Stephanie Davies-Arai, director of campaign group Transgender Trend, said it was a ‘scandal’ that so many ‘red flags’ about the charity had been ignored. She added that Mermaids should be investigated, not funded.

A spokesman for Mermaids said the charity continues to provide ‘crucial support’ and dismissed the recent allegations as an ‘attack’.

Even police have had training from Mermaids

Police faced an impartiality row yesterday after it emerged the force being urged to investigate Mermaids has received training from the charity.

West Yorkshire Police, which would lead any probe into the Leeds-based charity, received training on ‘trans awareness and support’ in 2019.

The sessions, which also had representatives from other forces, included slides which asked: ‘Where on the spectrum might your gender identity be?’ West Yorkshire Police has also promoted Mermaids’ work on Twitter and launched a number of hate crime investigations after complaints by Mermaids staff about social media comments.

Tory MP Laura Farris told The Daily Telegraph: ‘Given the serious allegations of child safeguarding failures made against Mermaids in recent weeks, it is imperative that any investigation is seen to be impartial and transparent.
‘It is concerning to read that West Yorkshire Police have engaged Mermaids services and the public may ask whether they would be able to undertake this investigation fairly.’
