A step in the right direction, but the NHS also needs to cut its ties with Stonewall who have been pushing them to fund these kiddy tranny clinics in the first place. They are also responsible for women no longer having single-sex wards in hospitals and for getting staff fired for the slightest criticism of these policies (Stonewall literally have a blacklist of "problematic" employees which they share among all orgs partnered with them, if you end up on that list you can basically kiss goodbye to your career forever).

It sounds like they are opening more centers to "meet demand," but they are also overhauling it to slow down the entire process and focus more on talk therapy and collecting better data rather than just shooting them up with hormones and sending them on their way.

I have hope for the UK, at least in terms of slowly starting to contain the troon craze. Here in the US it shows no sign of stopping. I think part of it is the fact that as our medical system is largely privatized, physicians and surgeons can charge people exorbitant prices when it comes to hormones and SRS...and troons are a goldmine as they are basically walking gravy trains for the pharmaceutical and plastic surgery industries. Because of this there is likely a huge financial backing behind the transtrender cultists that have infested my country as well as others.

I think it's more that they rushed headlong into troonery years before we did, so they hit peak trans and the point where shit started getting so batshit crazy that it started getting pushback. We're only now just starting to hit that thanks to troons like Rhys McKinnon and the other sports troons cheating at women's sports.
People are generally of the view that if someone isn't harming other people, leave them alone. But when they actually get to see some hulking male ogre of a troon beating the shit out of women and demanding they be coddled and treated like royalty, their patience rapidly runs out.

Washington State, and probably others is changing the rules so you can't even find out how many troons are in women's prisons any more. This after they leaked a FOIA request to the ACLU to get them to help block that request.
I'm guessing 0 women in Washington prisons will get pregnant from male prisoners. It must just be immaculate conception.

Drag queen faces dozens of charges related to child pornography
PENNSYLVANIA – Following a two-year investigation by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, a drag queen is charged with dozens of counts related to child pornography, according to Tri-State Alert.
Brice Patric Ryschon Williams is facing 25 counts of felony class 2 child pornography and 18 counts of criminal use of a communications facility.
Williams, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is being held on $100,000 bail at Franklin County Corrections, the Post Millennial reported.
The investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children submitted a tip to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section in May 2020 after finding child pornography on a Dropbox. Hence, investigators discovered 49 files of children under the age of 18 performing sexual acts.
The Comcast ISP address associated with the Dropbox belonged to Anastasia Diamond, or Ana D, according to news reports.
As the investigation proceeded, another 9 files of child pornography were discovered.
A search warrant was served and investigators discovered 135 files of child pornography on the Dropbox registered to Ana D, including the files previously tipped to the AG’s office.
The FBI discovered the name “Ana D” was a nickname for Anastasia Diamond, Brice Williams’ drag queen stage name. As a result, Williams was arrested on June 22, 2022.
Once Williams was in custody, investigators discovered 25 videos of child pornography on his phone, the Post Millennial reported.
FBI Special Agent Nye said the number is a small sample of the sexually explicit files they discovered on Williams’ devices, according to the Tri-State Alert.
During a custodial interview, Williams reportedly admitted to seeking, possessing, and sharing child pornography since 2014.
Williams is an HIV case manager and a prominent activist in the LGBTQ community, including work with LGBTQ youth.
Last year, he was a featured speaker at GLO Harrisburg, a center that offers a “safe space” for LGBTQ+ youth of color, according to PennLive.
On his now deactivated Instagram account “bricie95,” Williams lists himself as an “HIV Community Educator” and “Licensed Masters Level Social Worker.”
Prior to his arrest, Williams was scheduled to perform in a Drag Show at the Harrisburg Comedy Zone on July 4, called “The Divas Down Under.”
Williams’ next court appearance date is set for July 5, 2022.

If I'm reading the docket correctly bail was set at $100,000 but was never posted based on the second page of the PDF.
Since he got a public defender (see page 5 of the PDF) I suspect he's broke or nearly broke so there's no real difference between setting bail at $100k and just holding him without even the chance to make bail.

Francis previously met with some of them on April 27, June 22 and Aug. 3, the newspaper said.
“No one should encounter injustice or be thrown away, everyone has dignity of being a child of God,” the paper quoted Sister Jeanningros as saying.
Francis has earned praise from some members of the LBGTQ community for his outreach. When asked in 2013 about a purportedly gay priest, he replied, “Who am I to judge?” He has met individually and in groups with transgender people over the course of his pontificate.
But he has strongly opposed “gender theory” and has not changed church teaching that holds that homosexual acts are “intrinsically disordered.” In 2021, he allowed publication of a Vatican document asserting that the Catholic Church cannot bless same-sex unions since “God cannot bless sin.”
Recently, Francis wrote a letter praising the initiative of a Jesuit-run ministry for LGBTQ Catholics, called Outreach. The online resource is run by the Rev. James Martin, author of “Building a Bridge,” a book about the need for the church to better welcome and minister to LGBTQ Catholics.
Francis praised a recent Outreach event at New York’s Jesuit Fordham University, and encouraged organizers “to keep working in the culture of encounter, which shortens the distances and enriches us with differences, in the same manner of Jesus, who made himself close to everyone.”
The first Jesuit pope of the Roman Catholic Church has spoken of his own ministry to gay and transgender people, insisting they are children of God, loved by God and deserving of accompaniment by the church.

The retired NBA star, 40, petitioned the Los Angeles Superior Court for his 15-year-old’s name to be changed from Zion Malachi Airamis Wade to Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade, according to court documents obtained by The Blast Thursday.
She will also be female in all legal documents moving forward, per the request.
Wade notified the court that he has “full authority” to file the petition without the consent of Zaya’s mother, Siohvaughn Funches.
However, the documents state that “as a courtesy,” the former Miami Heat player’s ex-wife “received notice” of his petition, per the report.
Wade has been a longtime supporter of his daughter’s gender identity, first opening up about her coming out story on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February 2020.
The pro athlete said at the time that Zaya told her parents one day that she was “ready to live [her] truth” and wanted them to use female pronouns when they referred to her.
“We take our roles and our responsibilities as parents very seriously,” Wade said of him and Zaya’s stepmother, Gabrielle Union, adding that they provide their children with the “best information that [they] can, the best feedback that [they] can, and that doesn’t change because sexuality is now involved in it.”
