Additionally, "emancipation" does not turn a minor child into an adult; it means that the child takes responsibility for the duties a parent or guardian would have in most cases such as signing contracts or making decisions regarding health-care, nor does it grant the child permission to engage in activities that would be unlawful were they in the care of a parent or guardian.

Unless a minor child is married [also allowable in the California Reich at fourteen (with parental consent or emancipation), which boggles the mind] a person can't simply engage in sexual acts [1] that would otherwise constitute deviate sexual contact any more than an employer ignore child labor laws - regardless of "emancipation".
