It's more of the social commentary that was timeless and the show isn't heavily reliant on pop culture references as Season 4 is with entire plotlines centered around parodying Breaking Bad, Her, and the Kardashians.

But seriously, I always thought the writing staff in The Boondocks was somewhat schizophrenic. What in one episode is a harmless gag in another it's supposed to be SRS BIZNSS that only Filibuster McSoapbox saw coming a mile away. And often, even that is poked fun of, with the biracial girl often calling Huey on his "2deep4u" jaded bullshit.
About the only joke with real timelessness is the one where someone throws a chair, completely misses everyone, and a brawl still breaks out.

It was a weekly, half-hour sketch comedy show starring impressionist Frank Caliendo that aired on TBS in 2007. For like 3 months before it aired, TBS would hype the shit out of this show without actually saying what it was.
Caliendo is a decent impressionist; his most well known impression was John Madden, whom he played to a T. The problem is, a lot of his impressions are good when you can hear him, not see him act them out in costume. Mainly because Caliendo was not a small guy.
Here he is as the cast of Seinfeld (plus some black dude; I think the joke was that he was Kramer's boyfriend or something).
It only lasted about 5 episodes.

Funny guy. Can't believe he got a show.
I don't think the pilot of this Ryan Stiles show ever got out.
Ryan Stiles is a very funny guy from Whose Line Is It Anyway and the Drew Carey Show. He deserved a show but the premise for this one just doesn't work. They should have done a spinoff of him and Diedrich Bader's characters from the show.

Frank Caliendo is a guy that's good in small doses as a supporting cast member. An entire half hour weekly show dedicated to his material doesn't work.

Back when Blockbuster was a thing and my parents had a membership I one time stumbled upon where the Ewoks cartoon was supposed to be, and it was checked out. I was surprised considering how mediocre at best the clip on YouTube I saw was, and on the occasions after this when we'd go to Blockbuster I'd check to see if it was there, and it was always checked out. Assuming it wasn't lost/stolen, at least one person in my city really loved Ewoks for some fucking reason.

Kimmy Schmidt was the first time I realized Netflix will never produce anything of value. The show had everything going for it: great actors, producers & writers. A pedigree that was second to none. And, to be fair, there were genuine moments of brilliance in the first season. But holy shit. HOLY SHIT was it a disaster. Episodes were overly long. Sentimentality soon overtook the humor. Episodes went from mildly amusing to painfully dull. By the second season, the show was basically unwatchable.

While I absolutely agree season 4 is terrible, I actually had an inverse feeling of quality with the preceding seasons. Season 1 was the best of them and season 3 was the weakest of real Boondocks. Huey getting shoved into the background happened in the Bob Ross episode when he Morgan Spurlock-ed BET. After that, his role in the show diminished permanently. It turned into a running gag that no one listened to him. Intentional or not, the spirit of the show withered in the process. Season 1 didn't require me to be black to understand the joke; fatassery from junk food is an American problem. I didn't have to be Black to get that the blunt Iraq allegory either. Season 3 required me to know Tyler Perry movies to understand Crossdressing for Christ. The LaMilton episode was tedious to watch due to being a one-note kind of story.
Bad TV shows that I've seen... I suppose the Samurai 7 anime is close enough. I actually do enjoy it, but some of the show's problems are paradoxical to me. The original movie was about 3.45 hours or 207 minutes. So a half season of 13 episodes would be 21 mins*13 ep=273 mins. A little over, but extra scenes can be added to fill that extra time. Usually, a half season means the budget allocated is not enough to cover a full 26 episodes. However, for THIS show, 13 episodes would have been beneficial. The reason why is because the later episodes of the anime have to do with the Emperor appropriating bushels of rice crop, which is one way it misses the point of the original; the conflict becomes large scale and a larger conspiracy has to be put into play to fill out the second half of the show. That, and the drama of the show HAS to focus on the Samurai because of how much time was spent making them look unique, which the original didn't do.
It's like the FFVII Remake in a way, a solid story that gets tons of fanfiction writing in it to pad out the runtime and makes the combat so over-the-top that it becomes a wonder how regular people can stand up to our heroes. Also, each character in FFVII has to play differently, just like how the samurai have to stand out in every scene.

If we're throwing anime out there, Abunai Sisters: Koko & Mika is a pretty bad one. It looks like the bastard lovechild of Jimmy Neutron and Butt-Ugly Martians with horrendous CGI (pretty inexcusable for a 2009 anime) and god awful dubbing that sounds like they threw a chipmunk in a blender. Not to mention, one of the antagonists is a blatant recolor of Yubaba from Spirited Away. Also, tit jokes. Lots of fucking tit jokes.
As for other crap I thoroughly disliked, there's Super Duper Sumos, Mega Babies, Angela Anaconda, Caillou, The Powerpuff Girls reboot, My Life Me, Problem Solverz, Fred the Show, Shake It Up, The Nutshack and most of the crap that airs on TLC (namely Sex Sent Me to the ER and I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant). Chip 'n Orbit is a bit weird with its uncanny looking CG, but eh, it's not too bad because I barely remember it.
Bonus: I saw somebody bring up Trollz and I, being the dumb kid I was, actually loved that shit. Watching it today, I'm like "What kind of child was I? This show is weird." It's not the worst, but damn it's not as good nowadays.

I enjoyed many aspects of it. But there was something not quite right in it. And that ramped up when Tina Fey came in as one of the characters. There was something mean in it that I couldn't quite put my finger on but it was never clearer to me than the episode where they mocked that plastic surgeon who had mental health issues. I didn't know anything about him at the time I just thought it was a weird character who didn't quite work but not that long after the show mocking him aired, he committed suicide. I think it might have been a few months but I'd have to check. The guy obviously had some problems and this show just ripped on him.
For mine, hard to think of something as if something isn't enjoyable to me I usually just turn it off early on and forget about it. But for something that I actually watched episodes of without much enjoying it, I guess Buffy. It had its moments and I liked Charisma Carpenter's character. But it was pretty meandering. I ended up watching a surprising amount of it just because I was suffering from depression at the time. A friend adored the show and that played into it.

Maybe it's because I despise the depraved nihilism of third wave feminism, but I absolutely could NOT stand Fleabag - or anything else featuring Phoebe Waller-Bridge - and I have no idea why it gets so much praised heaped upon it. The fourth wall breaking is a lazy writing gimmick that gets old real fast. It’s dark, but certainly not comedic, and quite frankly the whole "I'm such a quirky, liberated wammen because I enjoy buttsex!" trope has been done to death.
This might be forgivable if our protagonist had any likeable or redeeming qualities, but you never really see her grow as a person, and the way she flippantly abuses her boyfriend, family, and best friend are difficult to watch. (To be fair, none of the characters aside from her long suffering sister or her best friend Boo are very likeable either.) I wasn't a fan of Sex and the City either, but the few episodes I begrudgingly watched with my mom were far more enjoyable than this garbage.

Miranda was alright because she's funny and likeable, and the overall tone of the show was much more lighthearted. (She also kind of reminds me of Fran from Black Books, which is near and dear to my heart) Fleabag is just plain awful. Worse still, it's catapulted Phoebe Waller-Bridge to diversity hire superstardom and now she's going to destroy both the James Bond and Indiana Jones franchises.

The CW superhero series, as chronicled elsewhere on this forum, are now uniformly cheap and flimsy looking, have been for awhile and the ones that are still airing are just sort of puttering along. Still I happened to catch part of what is supposedly the penultimate episode of The Flash and they've gotten even lamer looking that I remembered.
