I think what's really been happening is that millenial artists were raised under the idea that conservative ideologies are restrictive and pearl-clutching (muh satanic DnD, muh violent vidya, muh swears, muh catholic school...) whereas liberal/left ideologies enable creative freedom and new ideas. Combine that with the current-ish political climate, where only left wingers are allowed to wear their politics on their sleeve, and you get the idea that most modern (popular) art is made by lefties, and a lot of it is.

Where is the "conservative art"? I think people don't want to be lectured or virtue signaled when they consume escapist art, so if a video game openly brands itself as some current anti-woke political manifesto, it won't gain much influence with people who want to play video games. Pizza Tower is an innocent, goofy Wario Land clone popular with discord trannies, yet it's apparently made by a chud, does that make it "conservative art"?

Tumblr fandumb garbage doesn't advertise itself as political; it's colorful, appealing escapist media at surface level with progressivism injected in it, yet the "wokeness" is not it's appeal nor the point of it, hence why you have a surprising amount of RW types who like Deltatroon, Disco Soylysium or the latest fotm fandumb craze (on this very site).

Hmm, I suppose it could be argued that FNAF is conservative art. IIRC the creator, Scott Cawthon, is a christian who donated money to the GOP, which caused some drama a few years ago.
He's also made christian themed games, and videos/movies.

Can confirm. I am a quintessential chud. As anti-woke, anti-pc as they come. And I can admit, I enjoy quite a bit of gayshit. Considering how many artists are leftists I'd never get to enjoy a lot of things if I dropped them for the creator being a sheltered retard.

The beliefs of the creator only matter when they are inserted into their projects. If Toby Fox was a nazi, Undertroon would still be obviously progressive with it's raging lesbians, tumblr humor and genderspecials. There's nothing about Fnaf that can be considered right wing or conservative, it's just a horror game about haunted robots.

An actual "conservative" artwork would need to promote or portray right wing ideas in good light while having it's own merit and appeal outside of politics, something that even a leftist could find enjoyable (otherwise it would just be a manifesto). The thing is, what would these "right wing ideas" even be in the context of art? Straight white males? Strong functional families? Homogenous culture and community? Most people on the planet see these things as normality and not some new political concept.

Maybe the answer is that since conservatism is based on upholding a grounded, unmovable truth, it doesn't require art as a medium for propagating ideas as much as progressivism, which is based on constant reinvention and revolution. If it did, it would only be in reaction to these unmovable truths being challenged.
 
One of the most informative threads on this site that I had pleasure to witness being completed in real-time, heads down. Both eye opening on how much reach those people truly had and still have, and how these 'people', be it from Tumblr, 4chan, YouChew, from professional and indie fields and everywhere else are all basically cut from the same damn cloth - being vapid, fragile ego'd and AIDs ridden incompetent degenerates with their faggotry and unprofessionalism dragging whole interests, genres and industries down with them, enshittyfying those before third-worlders could afford internet access and do that en masse themselves. The most telling thing that could differentiate between them was how willing they were to say 'nigger' out loud, yet they were still the same at heart, horseshoe theory being proven right yet again. And as much as I'd like to believe that this course of action could be halted, reversed, even slowed down a little... given past few years, with the pendulum supposedly swinging back to the right, it still doesn't prognose anything optimistic. The rot is universal, the talent that could reverse it is few and far between and faggotry will continue on, now more eager to tell you about the jews, lolis or whatever culture war hot-button bullshit is kept up post-mortem, as it's dressed for both seasons.

Still, good work, much props. Eagerly awaiting the Toby Fox thread and whatever it entails.
 
Quick posting so i can add something to this thread, just saw this video and I'm pretty surprised how poorly was the internal security at Steven Universe's production:
Yes a complete hour commenting on the endless leaks that the show suffered even down to the pilot being leaked by Cartoon Network itself lol, this either points out of the network never expected it to become a big thing or how bad the security was handled by the crewniverse

Shit like that in the SU fandom and Voltron made me lost faith and interest in both engaging with fandoms and watching trending cartoons overall, that and realizing the insane circle of "children's" show made by adults for adults

But the boomers already enshitified the housing market, the overall economy, and politics in general.

Many of them tried to enshitify pop culture. The conservative boomers failed at it, the liberal ones laid the groundwork for it.

Maybe pop culture was the one last thing to enshitify, so millenials decided to enshitify that, except with woke politics and degeneracy.

Well it certainly started the modern festival and concert culture of today, but being honest the "consumerist pop" scene started with the Jackson family of all thing i believe, the Jackson five were essentially a proto boy band and Michael himself turned pop into an all enclosing facet of modern life
