I real need to snag the t2 special edition laserdisc before the price balloons any higher.
On the video game front future shock and skynet are amazing 90s time capsules with its early pre-quake true 3d graphics, working vehicles and skynets glorious fmv cutscenes. It's also the origin of Todd the Little Liar. It's abandonware and you'll need to use dosbox to play but it's worth it to see 95 cutting edge.

Well, reception here is...

"mixed to positive"
I liked it but I feel that it's overpriced considering how short it is. It's very short compared to other arcade-style action games like Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and Shinobi that also came out this year. I would definitely wait for a sale. The licensing costs probably prevented the devs from setting a more reasonable price.

I wouldn't be surprised if Terminator 3 has the same case of The Prequel Trilogy where people that saw it young were way more accepting of it. Personally I liked it and the ending was awesome.

Sadly every film afterwards was a different kind of shit. 4 was brown and stale, 5 was a mess, and 6 seemed to go woke.

I saw it at uni and really liked it. Saw it twice even. The final act when the machines took over was great.

and 6 seemed to go woke.
It was a special kind of bad

Salvation is the best out of all the post-T2 sequels, at least it tried to do something different from the usual formula of taking Arnold out of the freezer and having him fight the latest badder and scarier dollar store T-1000.
I like it but I guess I'm the one guy that liked Genesis. Its silly and they spoiled the twist in the trailers but I thought it was harmless fanfic fun. Not spiteful like dark fate.

I honestly think the worst bit of terminator media is the RoboCop crossover. No not the classic first one that is one of the best crossovers ever made.

The second shitty one.

RoboCop gets hijacked by skynet and kills everyone. I'm not even joking. Its impressively spiteful. Came out a while before Dark Fate too

You can stay.

First Terminator is better than Judgment Day.

Come at me, bro. I'll fuck your ass the gay way!

Thats like saying Alien is better than Aliens, its not really a controversial take when both entries are so good that it falls into personal preference which is better.

Kind of fucked up since Robocop's whole thing is that neither man or machine can control Murphy and he is in control of himself, his destiny and soul.

So here Skynet just controlling Robocop and he never is able to snap out of it with some aid or even through sheer will power.

Kinda guns did the resistance even use ? I wonder if they had A-10s or Tanks

The resistance used whatever they could get their hands on. They literally began to use hacked T-800s at the final years of the war, which is why Skynet made following models harder to be turned against them (which ironically made T-1000s kind of dangerous wild cards as they could develop too much free will and willingly go rogue, leading them to make T-Xs but thats a whole other story).

They won mostly because of John's understand of Skynet being almost prophetic (since it was in a way) and he knew exactly where to keep the pressure on despite the low resources comparatively.

There is a reason they treat John Connor with almost a cult like devotion because this man was single handedly dragging humanity out of Hell and towards an impossible victory
