What I find funniest about everyone pointing out all the ways Woolie is liable to fuck up playing a particular video game is that the general idea/premise of Woolie playing a video game is a bad one, no matter what game it is: He has no business playing video games, yet has made that his business, while simultaneously refusing to make the concession. So you have an arrogant black guy - white as hell - feeling entitled to record himself playing video games for a living, then being terrible at it, without ever improving.

He could be a huge streamer, if only he was willing to laugh at himself by leaning into the spectacle. If, for example, Woolie played Elmo's Letter Adventure and Woolie Way'd himself into progression-locking a game wherein the only mechanic is collecting alphabet letters with a pogo stick, it would be great content. I have the utmost faith in Woolie to somehow misinterpret the lore of a game about a puppet collecting alphabet letters with a pogo stick.

But Woolie won't laugh at himself, or lean into anything acknowledging that he has no business playing video games as a business. The man refuses to commoditize his only area of distinction; because he insists he should be paid for a service he lacks the requisite skills to offer in the first place. So, instead, we get to remark on the guy continuing to circle the drain and somehow doing worse for himself in every respect imaginable.

Incredibly timed question.
Clemps is streaming to 54 people right now and I wondered why he even does it. I guess for Pat and Woolie it's the easy money, maybe? Meanwhile, Clemps shouts "happy pride month!" within a minute of me clicking on, and now his friend's talking about a woman/goat hybrid from spyro sexually. I think they're fucking goats in their heads. What is it about content creation that siphons the souls of my favorite content creators? What makes them all goat fuckers?!

It's happened to Pat and Woolie and Matt, too. Minus the goats. I keep forgetting they used to be funny and have a soul.

Pretty much. Dawntrail, the latest expansion, was so bad that it cut active plays in half in the last 2 years. FF14 had pretty good momentum since Shadowbringers into Endwalker that had evened out, but they fumbled the only thing that matters in the game (the story) so bad that its frankly hard to explain.

Cope-pilled libtards like Pat are clinging to the idea that the upcoming expansion will save the game, and I even bought into that idea and resubbed recently (cancelled soon after) but the recent content quality is still bad AND the NA branch of Square Enix is STILL troon-infested, so even if the new expansion IS good, it will still be ruined by the tranny localizers.

I feel nearly every MMO nearing the end of its life span has these types that eventually become to jaded to care about hoping the next 'whatever' expansion will save a game not worth saving.

I played WoW for quite a while and quit weeks after I hit level cap and got some gear for PvP in Cataclysm. The changes I noticed Activision make at the end of TBC continued to get worse in WotLK and made me quit in Cataclysm. Then, the attendant at Blizzcon who proposed they just re-release Classic back in the 2010s got total disregard from the developers "You don't want that" THEN WHY WOULD HE FUCKING ASK FOR IT?! I was totally done with Activision/Blizzard after that. I suppose that's one way of showing you have a spine and will stand on principles - something Pat and other MMO players should be capable of.

About the same with me since i thought i had my fun and went to do play something else. I rarely get invested with MMOs so the fact that i spent so long playing WoW meant there was something there that kept me interested but i digress. The point i was gonna make is that people have a hard time nowadays especially with letting go. If the writing is on the wall don't ignore it and hope things will just get better like 5 to 10 years into its life span it's just things running the course.

I think anyone hoping changes will save their MMO are misplacing their optimism. Once something changes, goes bad, and has to be reverted, it's never the same. And this whole "am hired but has a private, but shared political agenda" shit has to stop everywhere.

They did played MGS games the worst or weirderest way on channel.

Yes, MGS4 was copyrighted, but they didn't even play it.
(They did play 3 when they were in contract with Machinima, so yes, not original channel, not full play.)
They played Revengeance not fresh perspective and random brought in Woolie for the Sam and Wolf DLC.
Mat and Pat played Ground Zeros main mode and Woolie+Liam combo for different scenaros. Weird setup.
Also started an MGSV with full cast onboard, but Woolie and Matt wanted to play the game for not spoiling themselves so they leave. Pat+Liam combo stays, very badily made duo.

You're 100% correct. That MGSV playthrough was so terrible that I forgot it existed, despite it solidifying many of the things people hate about Liam. I watched every part of it, and still forgot it. I think the jeep ride with Skull Face was the point my interest in the game officially died; with the "ending" showcasing the cut content proving what everyone had suspected about Konami shitcanning Kojima and releasing the game in an unfinished state (in two parts, mind you), in some deranged attempt to recoup expenses which continued into Survive.

MSG V ended being a terrible game to lets play and Liam lying about playing bad made it unwatchable. When he air drops a box on quiet and pretends he totally didn't know that (it was a viral video) you can tell pat does not believe him and is quiet mad about it.

And this is unrelated but Max dood was visited by the final fantasy 7 remake director and "wow doood WOOOOW DOOD" *dies*. It's insane to me that Max is The Official Final Fantasy 7 Guy when he is not even an actual final fantasy fan.

Max is a very big FF7 fan apparently. Say what you will about Max Dood, but he knows how to hype up an audience.
