Not surprised over that furfags and certain devs that has the lowest hanging fruit taste would choose Roblox to dedicate their effort on. Instead of just doing other things, we have porn plastered on a kid’s game by gooner developers who just wants to encourage little kids to feed into their twisted fantasies and become porn addicts and get groomed.

You think these people would've moved onto better engines or even developing their own engines in C, C++ or hell even Rust. But no, they continue to stick to the same old shit, further stagnating by forever utilizing a shitty Lua dialect far inferior to it's predecessor. They'll never get to experience the glory of manual memory control or rewriting and engineering aspects of the engine to get results that you want by utilizing intermediate to low level languages. They will forever be stuck utilizing scripting languages and will never get to experience the full glory of a true & honest programming language.

luau's main thing is it being extremely sandboxed compared to the standard Lua interpreter to prevent exploiting functions from the core library (almost everything from os is a good example and commonly disabled in games using Lua as a script lang) as well as bytecode evaluation (intentionally malformed bytecode [archive.is] can be used to escape into executing arbitrary code) among other subtle things.
most of its changes outside that are not that bad, pretty sensible, but they can hardly hope to reach the sheer grace of luajit, mostly developed by one guy, which is capable of efficiently interfacing with DLLs in a way that makes the average dynamic language cry and piss itself as well as much more flexible ways of working with memory that put it closer to C, all whilst keeping itself highly compatible with existing Lua code, and, of course, being fast as fuck (even with the JIT compiler turned off!)
in any case, the fact that roblox still gets plenty exploited to this day should answer just how effective luau actually is at its job.
 
Id say the attraction to roblox characters / its blocky style (and in turn anything that looks similar, like Minecraft) probably comes from the fact that they look so off and/or like a childs first 3D project. Not to mention it looks like Lego, which is always associated with children first and foremost.
They love that these models appeal to children so they want to corrupt it and turn it sexual, essentially.

The optimistic choice would be that young David would do everything in his power to over censorize his blockgame hell and back to try and prevent the hellscape that awaits him, but ultimately fails as 3rd party messaging like xitter or discord makes it easy to groom minors offsite.
