The Roblox Erotic Roleplay Community - "Roblox's ERP problem began in the mid 2010's as a quiet whisper. Over the next decade, this whisper would slowly grow into a blood curdling scream, audible from every corner of the platform."

If wow13524 is the type of employee Roblox feels comfortable hiring, I feel like the "swift action" the safety team takes is to immediately join the groups and start colon three arr peeing themselves.
Something tells me wow13524 wasn't actually an admin. I've met a guy that had the admin badge, but wasn't an admin, he was a Developer Relations guy (essentially a liaison between the community and the roblox corporation, chosen from the community). Likely he was a guy that never actually worked for roblox, closest equivalent would be 4chan jannies.

I didn't realize they just slap an admin sticker onto semi-related employees. Pretty terrible idea to throw the sticker around like candy, because it makes the entire company look bad when roblox employee #5721 gets caught grooming on his admin-badged account.

Alright I got some more content, the wayback machine actually has a copy of their website. Abandon all hope ye who enter here

The only things of note are the names of the creators accounts, as well as 2 files for the roblox bodies. Someone braver and more knowledgeable in Roblox than I, tell us what the hell we are looking at here.

How much revenue do ERP accounts make for Roblox? Could they be collectively paying for their immunity? Other than being deviants themselves, I can't imagine any other reason why a corporation would be ignoring the inevitable PR disaster of sex pests grooming kids in their game.
Apologies if I'm late with this theory.

They are collectively paying, however indirectly. They spend money on Robux to create NSFW avatars, and of course, roblox gains from that. Along with this, is how easy it is to make a new account, and boom. Roblox gets rich, while kids get groomed. Wouldn’t be surprised if Roblox only did the bare minimum to get the most money out of them. Ban them too much, and they leave. Ban them too little, and they don’t spend enough money to keep them around, and parents get concerned.

Última edición:
I'm not sure how you could track user spending, but this seems like an important data set. If it turns out to be so, and you could prove that groomers make a substantial income source, you could argue the two are correlated to potentially great effect.

I've seen more than a few "healthy adult women" play Roblox unironically and it baffles me every time. On one hand, I recognize this recent boom in "silly" porn in gooner communities, where the more stupid and childlike it is, the hotter it is to these people. That's why you'll see high quality minecraft porn; it's the idiocy of two genitalialess square bodies plonking together that does it for them. But just, adult women playing it. Why? It's not "a kids game haha", it is -literally- a kids game.

A non-porn adjacent friend sent me this and it's like. Why?

This image has moderate Second Life energy. Maybe it's zoomzoom women who are homesick for a game they never ERP'd in?

The recent proliferation of this specific Roblox game mode (Dress to Impress) is something that exists primarily outside the realm of Roblox gooning and porn addiction. It's a PvP dress up game. Remember the hundreds and hundreds of dress up Flash games that exist and the thousands of dollars and hours and that women will put into MMOs in order to fine-tune different outfits and appearances for their characters? Women love playing dress up, and Dress to Impress fills a void that has been neglected in the videogame sphere for decades, and it does it in such an accessible way that women both young and old are flocking to it in droves.

There's two potential points of contention I can see with this specific Roblox game:
  • Older women livestreaming their interactions with children and actually arguing with/picking on these kids they're playing with (I've seen this happen, though there's also the option for adults to play in private instances consisting entirely of their adult friends and some people have been doing that too)
  • The anatomy of the Roblox characters in this gamemode being the "ideal female figure" and thus being attractive to people like the subjects of this thread who are attracted to these sort of things (I don't think it's a problem as they are essentially living mannequins designed to model clothes, but I could see someone coming into this thread with a picture of a naked Dress to Impress model and shouting "It's porn!")

At the end of the day it's just supply and demand. Dress to Impress provides a product to an audience that no one else was catering to and became famous for it, just like Stardew Valley stole Harvest Moon's thunder by being the first good farming game to release on PC, or Notch copying Infiniminer but doing it better and faster and retiring at the age of 35. It's not a porn conspiracy, it's just a fun game for women.

Cmon bro, it ain't that deep. Women love dress up games since it hits that specific autistic nerve in them to play pretty dressup on character models.
Sillypoo got this right months ago, it's pure femcore.
