Stargiant on the move again. Ryan was seen at a local convention stalking someone that Crimson Mayhem was also stalking. I’d post his post instead of one of his errand boys but

Of course he's a Bluesky user.

You'd think after Enter and others aired his dirty laundry, he'd be smart and keep a low profile. But no. He's still trying to chase the high of being StarGiantProductions - a shitty cartoon review channel. It's sad, but it's also the only thing close to a notable accomplishment he has in his life. To use one of favorite Joker quotes, "it'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic."

Does anybody have the original Google Drive links to Star Giant's sushicookie videos?
I'm asking about sushicookie because one of those videos had a weird IRL picture of Ryan's ex-"fiance" that he put in there without her permission. Apparently it was so subtle that the archive channel didn't even see it when they first uploaded the video and had to edit it out later.
I know that's really fucked up, but I kind of want to see that picture.
The issue is that it wasn't uploads of the SushiCookie videos themselves that Enter uploaded to Google Drive, but a collection of the links for the unlisted videos on the channel, and by the time at least I got around to archiving those videos, all but one was already made private:
I'll also work on archiving said videos (EDIT: Star has already made all but one of those videos, a reupload of his old Fairly Odder review, private, but I assume Enter and his team had already downloaded the others; just in case it's still of interest I've attached a 720p version here as well)
So unless some other Kiwi here archived them before they were made private, you're stuck with the censored uploads on that archive channel.

Got you covered, as there are tools available to bypass that shit, such as Skyview:

(Skyview link/Archive)

tl;dr: Bluesky only has the appearance of privacy via the main site respecting if a user decides to private their account, but all Bluesky posts, no matter from a public or private account, are still viewable via the protocol due to how it's designed, thus tools like Skyview exist.
Also, the irony of Crimson Mayhem and that Star Giant archive channel wanting people to spread the word when the original post isn't normally viewable without a Bluesky account :story:

I might be alone in this nitpick, but I fucking hate his "witty, sarcastic" video title scheme he's adopted from other youtubers. Maybe it's the autistic archivist in me, but titles like that just do not give enough context for people who are looking for it years down the line.
Unfortunately, that's antithetical to how YouTube gives incentive to making appealing videos for the home page, not for search. So Enter is going to aim for where he'll get the most views in the moment, not for what makes a video easier to find later down in life. Just makes playlists all the more important.

Yeah, I'm aware of that and you're correct. I could rant for days about all the ways youtube's end user experience is fucking awful. I remember back in the early days of youtube, the recommendations were ALWAYS related to what you were watching, and not what you had watched in the past. Maybe I'm in the minority but I despise this system of "We're going to disregard what you're watching right now almost entirely, and suggest you videos more similar to something you watched last week." especially when it just shows you the same videos for days or even weeks without updating. And the homepage just, as you said, is filled with the snappiest clickbait titles that don't even tell me anything about the video itself. We traded "Modded Minecraft: Slenderman Mod Episode 1" for "I MODDED minecraft... You won't BELIEVE what I found..." I'm not clicking that vaguepost, youtube. I'm too autistic. Sometimes I wish I had the normie brain so I understood what exactly about retarded shit like that appeals to them.

his last one was really good too

dunno why he made it so much worse lol
iirc, the artist who created his shadow avatars tweeted asking him to stop using her art and designs after his Covid/BLM statements in 2020 and he phased them out because of that
If he paid for them he should’ve told her to fuck right off
To be fair to Enter, it's not like the old shadow avatars weren't mocked by his hatedom back in the day. They certainly were, as many compared them to the figure used to depict predators or other criminals on neighborhood watch signs or PSA posters, such as this example from the Joon The King documentary on him:

You can even find people on this very thread making those comparisons:
Furthermore, does anyone think Enter's new avatar is worse than his old one cause the new avatar looks like one of those villains in stranger danger PSAs and a possible predator.
Reminds me of the guy on the neighborhood watch logo

He wanted to model his icon off of a film noir detective but ended up looking like a drug dealer turned child predator.
Yeah he just skipped the drug dealer part and is on his way to the child predator part
Hell, even Enter himself got into the joke through his cameo on that MagicMush video, where it's used to depict him as a shady dealer wearing a trench coat in the shadows of an alleyway:
In terms of my opinion on his current avatar set, I think they're fine, especially with me being such an Mr. Enter oldfag to remember his original avatar drawn by himself with MS Paint, along with the art he did for the thumbnails back then:

Say what you will about his current avatar set or the other art he uses, at least they're done by more competent artists using proper software, even if, by retrospect, his old MS Paint artwork might have their own charm through how amateur they were.

I'll be honest, the shitty quality and amateur "home video" vibe was the only thing I actually found likable about Mr. Enter's channel back in the day. It felt very real, very honest. There was a million cartoon reviewers, but when you watched Mr. Enter you weren't really watching a cartoon review, you were watching him specifically. The videos reminded me of something my extremely nerdy friends would make on a whim, and there was a certain coziness to that. Strip away the peaking microphone, editing errors, poorly drawn thumbnails, lack of background music, and strange morality policing and all you're left with is another Saberspark, LS Mark, or Phantom Strider. I keep up with enter hoping he'll do something interesting or be involved in some drama, but his videos aren't fun to watch anymore. I used to get drunk, play CoD zombies, and listen to his reviews well past midnight. As ashamed as I am to admit, I kind of unironically enjoyed those nights and his content. Now I try to watch one of his videos and I have to rewind because I find myself not paying attention. Overproduced, heartless, and generic. His new avatar represents that perfectly.

These type of content creators still do exist but you’ll have to dig for them. You can honestly find a lot of this archetype in the personal lolcow or lolcows too small for their own threads. Stargiant was Enter with even more rancid takes but the sexpest shit overshadowed the diet Enter energy.

I miss his second channel and let's play channel for this exact reason. His bullshitting in GMod and Sisyphus project to get through the 1001 games book while restarting every 6 months were pointless as fuck, but they did show off a lot of his personality and low budget that went away in his main content once he got editors. I think the existence of those even made his main channel videos more enjoyable as auxiliary works since they built a rapport that carried over. Without them all you have left is a generic critic with bad branding and no identity whatsoever. His streams are just shilling for donations, and even his new Deviantart is sterile compared to what he used to post.

If he isn't going to be a personality based channel, he needs to take a class or something and learn how real media criticism functions. If he can't critique and won't give people a reason to care about him as a person, he has nothing to offer.

I think what's always made Enter stand out for me is that he managed to toe the line of being a lolcow and making incompetent content in a way that made him pathetic but still incredibly likable. His content was about as poorly crafted and low budget as you can get without being incomprehensible or painful to sit through. A lot of lolcows in this niche (Stargiant being a case in point) either make completely unwatchable content, are such rancid people that they're unenjoyable outside of their funniest moments, or some combination of both. I agree with Fats' observation that Enter managed to walk that line in a way that made his rants feel like something your dumbass friend would make for you to get drunk and laugh at.

I just want to say I've had a lot of fun reading the really old messages in this thread going into how much of a mindscrew Enter's Growing Around was and just dissecting its flaws at the most atomic level. Really takes me back to just how batshit awful the concept was and the speculation as to how broken the world would be.
