A dude I play geemus with works as a retail cashier in an increasingly diverse area and he tells me how jeets are the only ones who try to haggle. Didn't Europe also build up the railroads, towns and infrastructure of India as well as Asia, Africa and Latin America? A lot of the major Indian cities you hear about would not have existed without the British.
They also get aid in billions of dollars from both the US and the UK.

It's always amusing that the universal third world grudge is basically a social form of survivorship bias and a lesser case of "Look what you made me do!" as they resume doing what they were doing a few thousand years before anyone even showed up to the shores.
Because it was the first time they've ever come into contact with an "Enemy" that just didn't genocide them to 0% population and erase all evidence they were there as they call themselves the new natives no fuss no muss like their usual mode of operation.
But instead the white man got bored and maybe a bit soft over time. Packed up and left and left behind a few hundred years of free tech tree advancement and education and then later asked the same people if they wanted to engage in open trade and commerce for real this time and get paid for it.
The same people who seethe about this are the same people who don't realize just how light a touch they were given in a relative historical scale even compared to what their own neighbors and in-groups would have done to them.

Jeetland had state-of-the-art railways from when they were first built after they became a Bri'ish colony to about the time they gained independence. In the 1920s and '30s, it was the largest and most advanced railway in the entire world. That's how much the fucking Brits invested into that fetid land and they're still ungrateful. Actually, maybe that's why they're so resentful of Britisher cumskins, they introduced the most dangerous apex predator to their lands.

The ironic part too to add onto my other bullshit rambling is there's a huge blind spot when people cry foul and point to unfair third world conditions as well which I won't say is a good thing, But I don't attribute it as the mean old west's fault.
The rabbling about unfair trade and slave labor goes on in a tone like there's still white people named John Smith still out there whipping people picking tea and cocoa pods and instead it's Kerpal and Tok'booli respectively working their own people to death and giving them a shit cut of a deal they have near total control of the operation and supply of and could renegogiate at any time if they got tired of being a tin shack mini king. Which they won't.

This is probably a troll post but its still worth raising the question of what exact rape and robbery did happen when constructing these empires?
Spain "stole" a shitload of gold and forced surviving injuns to mine silver sure, and Belgium gave allied nigger tribes a carte blanche with regards to getting as much rubber as they could out the congo no matter how many limbs they had to chop, but aside from a handful of examples like this European empires made their money from enforced trade monopolies in their more populous colonial holdings and areas of influence (which is why China was such a focal point for european empires despite never being conquered by them) with unchallenged access to lucrative resources being a fairly distant secondary concern, and in the case of africa it was largely a scramble to deny potentially lucrative/strategic areas to rival powers
I am aware there is an entirely vibe based narrative that european empires were all gigantic mega Auschwitz plantations/strip mines where stunningly brave people of coloureds were whipped to death digging unspecified abstract wealth from the ground with their bare hands, and there were yearly genocide hootenannies where unspecified millions of innocent darkies were exterminated for shits and giggles, but any time one asks for specific details there is inevitably an awkward silence followed by mumbling about muh-famines that these empires actively tried to fight/prevent due to how much they damaged the bottom line in the short and long term, or the fact that injuns got turbo pozzed by old world diseases as if this was some intentional ploy made up centuries before germ theory was a thing.
Better yet, when one asks what the places/nations/cultures conquered were doing before/during/after they were conquered and whether it was any different than what the empires that conquered them did, the result will either be a ragequit or them babbling out some variation of "magical brown people history*" for one's entertainment.
*magical brown people history being the perennial narrative that in all non european empires and nations from the middle east to the americas to asia to africa to jeetland, everyone was happy and wore beautiful ethnic clothing every day of the year and ate nothing but a feast of delicious ethnic street food four times a day, all conflicts were epic and cool and super badass and nobody really got hurt, all empires were bastions of enlightenment and progress and science and rainbows, all slaves were effectively treated like nobility and generously allowed to live in these wonderful brown societies and became besties with their wonderful brown owners, there was no filth, no disease, no hunger, no bigotry.....until WHITE people arrived.

OMFG I'm doing a remote training course at work and it's filled with saars. The chat is flooded with messages "KINDLY SEND ME THE SLIDES AND RECORDING HERE IS MY EMAIL" even though the trainers have repeatedly said they're not recording it. We had ten minutes to do an exercise and after the time was up, the trainer checked the list and I was the only one who'd actually completed it out of 45 attendees. What is the point of all these people signing up to the course if they're either not going to do it or just expect to be spoonfed the answers?
The hosts are Africans and they're actually competent and knowledgeable and are just as frustrated as me. India vs the world.

Like CDL test centers that have been caught feeding the answers to said saars during their tests and certain other companies watering down their training and hiring process to get them in the door.
