Most of the world has packs of feral (sometimes rabid) dogs that run around and attack people. This is especially the case in MENA and the subcontinent, but it's a thing in America, Eastern Europe, central Asia...
The feral dog packs are like death squads for street kids. If they catch you they will rip you to shreds. I have a core memory of escaping from one of them on a motorcycle as a kid. Some boys throw stones at them to scare them away but I think it makes them more aggressive
The rich people in America or west Europe don't ever go to the neighborhoods where dogs are an issue, so they assume the rest of the world are just undeveloped savages and the Quran told them to strap all dogs in suicide vests etc.

Since there was so much support for my workout routine I wanted to share some details about this specific part of it. I don't want to dox myself but I am currently working with my local government to set clearly defined rules for Hindu celebrations (since we've seen them cause so much frustration in Texas.)
I can't post the exact documents I've submitted but here is a summary. Rules governing big festivals are already part of most local ordinances so I'll avoid all that language and instead talk about the concerns I addressed to the council.

When I was a kid (probably still in single digits) I got attacked by a pack of dogs. My piano teacher lived at the end of a dead-end street and I had to pass a house that was a hippie commune and I think everyone there had a dog. I didn't grow up with dogs (strictly a cat family) and I didn't know what to do except stand there, because they surrounded me and I couldn't run. Which probably would've been a bad idea. The hippies finally noticed and got the dogs away from me but I haven't trusted dogs to this day. The only reason I wasn't badly bitten is it was winter and I had a heavy coat on, and they weren't big dogs.
I admire the intelligence of working dogs, and I actually had a roommate with a dog who decided I was part of the house that needed his protection and it was very touching to see his suspicion when my boyfriend would wrassle with me...he wasn't quite sure I wasn't being harmed and he didn't like it one bit. And if came down to it, and I *had* to get a dog, I'd get a rescue greyhound; I knew a guy who had a pair of them and they were just wonderful goofballs.
But I hate those pocket-size dogs and pitbulls and people who anthropomorphize animals. I hate that people think I love their dogs as much as they do and want to have them invading all the people spaces (like restaurants....ugh!)
My cats run my damn life and they are spoiled rotten by my standards but even when I have to get out of bed in the middle of the night because one of the boys found his ballie and is meowing because he wants me to throw it down the stairs for him it's not as bad as having to take a dog for a walk every damn day twice a day rain or shine in sickness and in health. I've filed for divorce for less annoying behavior.
OK that's my grouchy rant for today. Re: jeets and rabies...the World Health Organization says 1/3 of all human rabies deaths annually are in India. 20 million animal bites, 20,000 human rabies fatalities, 99% from stray dogs. Children under 15 account for nearly 40% of their rabies fatalities. These figures are probably very inaccurate because bites and deaths are underreported in rural areas.
I don't think dogs have any particular sacred role to Hindus (as opposed to cows and monkeys and rats) so having a massive vaccination program shouldn't be out of the question, or even a cull, because even vaccinated stray dogs could attack people.
The Western world values food safety. Who of us hasn't gotten food poisoning or norovirus at some point in their lives? It sucks. Sometimes it even kills, though a century of laws and medical break-throughs have made it a rarity.
Except to foreigners who love to scam.
So whenever I come across a pajeet owned restaurant I always report it to my local health inspector for violations of food safety. Indian's don't have the mental capacity to obey food safety rules so they always get shut down.
For some cultural reason they never seem to refrigerate their dairy products. Bug infestations are also rampant in Indian run restaurants as well as a total lack of hand-washing, proper toilet facilities and dish-washing equipment. They always fail inspections. The only question is will these places get temporarily shutdown and ever be able to reopen after passing a follow-up inspection. Sometimes but rarely.
Even more Indian restaurants and grocery stores were shutdown this week for gross health-code violations. Jeets do not care about your health or well-being.
Oh but hey look this one Indian restaurant that got shutdown last month for having a massive cockroach infestation is under new management (my cousin Sanjay saar) and has reopened. Anyone who knows about cockroach infestations in restaurants knows that the pest will be back if they aren't already. Watch this place get shutdown again.

I don't understand why they don't refrigerate their dairy and meat properly. In many of these articles detailing the violations they fail to cool the stuff down by like 10 degrees. Just turn the goddamn fridge to the proper setting and you'd pass the inspection.
Its like they're bargaining with the fridge by adjusting the temp up a few degrees to preserve their izzat. Pure retardation.

Restaurant margins are already razor-thin so doing this is gonna bankrupt them faster. Not that it matters anyway as jeet restaurants are just fronts for the schemes and scams that they're performing at any given time, that's where the money is made, if the restaurant that the scam is attached to makes a profit then it's basically the equivalent of turning your hobby that's an expense into something that gets you some beer money.
I ate at an Indian restaurant once over 15 years ago, probably closer to 20 years ago. They served me a plate of grizzle that was once some kind of meat before they charred it into inedible slop.
Never went back and only talked mad shit about that place. They wanted everyone to take off their shoes at the table too. I made a stink about that because it sounds gross to me so they sat us at a booth and let us keep our shoes on.
I fucking hate Indians so goddamn much. If I was wealthy I'd spend all my time giving free lectures to communities about how fucked up Indians are.
