Yeah. And last Thanksgiving the cult just kind of left him high and dry and didn't feed him, which was enough for him to finally get over his paranoia about TSA and come home.

Now, I mean Thanksgiving with my family isn't that bad, but there's a reason that my brothers and all my other cousins and I have an annual tradition of just leaving the house and aimlessly wandering around town for a few hours.
 
Thursday is not only Thanksgiving, it's Perhelion Day.

If the silly comet survives coming within (IIRC) 640,000 miles / 1.1 million km of the Sun, towards which it's been falling for a billion years or so before tomorrow's hairpin turn starts it heading outward, December nights might be pretty spectacular in the northern hemisphere. I tried to bag it this morning, but an unfortunate phenomenon called "daytime" botched my plans.

I have a digital eyepiece (basically a socially-awkward webcam) for my 'scope and I want to put a fresh notch in it.

I think today/tomorrow is also the beginning of Channukah. That's like triple awesome during the same time period! Let's eat sweet potato latkes while watching the comet! :)

So my father's idea of a great Thanksgiving start was to try and teach my mother how to handle the SW99. She's very exceptional, and tried to load the pistol while the barrel was aimed at her stomach. Basically I'm going to die today, nice knowing you all!
 
I just got the most unusual request today.

My grandfather said that he's a big fan of native American culture as well as 18th century cowboy culture. He has this frame sitting around that a local hotel wants to buy, but they won't buy it without a picture. He tried to hire a native woman to pose for a portrait, but her agency fired her, so she can't do the shot.

This is where I come in.

Apparently, my grandfather thinks I fit the bill perfectly for a native American. The hair, the chest, the facial structure, the skin, and he's asking if I could pose for a picture in costume so he can finally sell the frame.

So yeah, I'm strongly considering doing it (even though my skin looks awful lately), and if I do, maybe I'll post it here or at least on Facebook or something. Oh, and apparently, I'm a very handsome Indian. For some reason, he thought I'd be offended somehow by stating the resemblance. :lol:
 
Took most of my money in wiring, but I finally have a large lake underneath my town in Terraria. Everything just seemed to go wrong at once. First there was a goblin invasion when I started, then I somehow lost my hammer, then it rained constantly, had to make a new entrance to my mine shaft and zombies seemed to appear more frequently.

Worth it.

I am Weasel KICKED ASS. I used to watch it all the time, it was a spinoff of Cow and Chicken wasn't it?

The Devil was the best thing about those shows, utter brilliance :D

Well there goes all my productivity for the day, I now declare today Sit-Inside-and-Watch-Cartoon-Network-All-Day Day. Not very catchy but oh well.
