My dog was so filthy, we had to take her to a professional groomer today. First time going to one because usually I'd have the time to do that sort of stuff myself, but I just don't anymore. Fairly certain the receptionist was either gay or just acting gay to get with the girl who works there. I don't know who I should feel worse for, the dog or the people who are gonna have to handle her.

POWER RANGERS MEGAFORCE IS DONE! COMPLETE! FINI! Worst piece of shit season I have ever seen and if I had left it unfinished it would have bugged me.
But the story is continued in Super Megaforce
Don't care, not watching. Already put up with one season of this crap, not putting up with another. I would rather start watching My Little Pony: Friendship is magic than Power Rangers Super Megaforce. My inner 5 year old is horrified by that revelation.
It's a whole new world!

Got let out of class early today. Something interesting happened.
The parking lot that I have to use is full of dogs for some reason. There's usually one that hangs around there quite often, but lots of dogs, for some reason, are attracted to this area. Usually they just leave people alone and either play with each other, sleep under cars, or stand in the middle of the street that leads to the parking lot. Well, I was walking back from class today, and when I was at the lot, I felt some kind of strange presence near me. I thought maybe one of the guys there was finally going to mug me or something, and I swiftly turned my head. Without my knowledge, a big black German shepherd had been following me the whole time. As soon as I looked at it, it twitched and backed away. I kept looking at it, and it just looked back at me, trying to figure out what my intention was, I guess. It seemed scared, which is really weird considering the fact that it was following me. Before I could get a picture of it, it walked past some bushes and decided to sit in the middle of the street.
Saw three more dogs just walking around in the middle of the street on my way back. I think it might be some kind of dog holiday today or something...

One of the young ladies in our dance troupe got pimp slapped by another during our tap rehearsal. This is what happens when they decide it is a wise choice to miss several vital days of practice.

So yesterday, a guy on a forum starts waxing nostalgia on pogs. Now, one thing that I remember about that particular fad was they used the long container cylinders for food on a cheesy sci-fi I watched as a kid, Space Cases. I go to mention that it stared the original black ranger and I decide to grab a picture for my post.
Ended up on this site where there was love-letter to the series. Reading through it, on one of the character entries it mentioned that this one character was similar to a role the actress would go on to play, Kaylee.
Now, I've heard of Firefly before, but never watched it. It's kinda funny that it having an actress from one of the shows I watched as a kid was the push to get me to start watching it.
Ended up on this site where there was love-letter to the series. Reading through it, on one of the character entries it mentioned that this one character was similar to a role the actress would go on to play, Kaylee.

Today I was walking back from class and I saw a poster on a bulletin board advertising job opportunities for the winter break. I'm in dire need of money, and my boss at the bank didn't want to take me back for just four weeks, so I took note of the website on the poster - winterbreakwork.com - and went on my way.
Right afterwards I went to a meeting for the students doing internships next semester. On the whiteboard in the classroom we were in, someone (presumably a professor, suggesting an employment option for his/her students) had written "winterbreakwork.com - Vector/Cutco."
Thaaaat raised a red flag. I only really knew of Cutco because Chris worked for them, and whenever I saw it mentioned on CWCki forums it was always stated to be a scam. So the first thing I did upon getting to my computer was google "winterbreakwork.com scam" and lo and behold. (Also one of the top google suggestions was "winterbreakwork.com complaints," yeah that's looking good.)
And that is how Christory and the CWCki saved me from getting wrapped up in some scam.
guess I'll just spend my winter break hoping people ask me to babysit and/or commission art from me.

It's tough finding a job right now, I'm trying to do that, too until I complete my job training next year.
But yeah, don't get caught up in the Vector Marketing or Cutco scam. I nearly got caught up in it, too, but fortunately didn't like what I heard when I went for the interview.

Anyway Mom and I put up the Christmas tree and decorations today. I feel productive!
