I wear a bullet around my neck. It was a gift from a friend. He said he got it for me because I'm rugged like that. To me, it's always symbolized strength. I'd deprive myself of it when I'd feel weak or pathetic. I recently started wearing it again, and really really good things have been happening to me. Bad things happen when I take it off. Example, today I was almost late to class because I was stuck in traffic. I walked in, the teacher handed us a paper and told us we could leave because we had nothing to do. Much better things happened as well, but I don't have time to list them. All I can say is that this thing is becoming more like a good luck charm that anything else.
 
Lately I've had unusually good luck but now I think I used it all up and now I have shit luck again. Huzzah.
 
I woke up way too late today. I have an hour to get ready for work but instead I'm going to eat breakfast and do some more internetting. Fuck it, it's Valentine's Day.
 
Trying very, very, very hard to not break down or visit old memories or do something stupid right now. I know I'd probably convince myself that I'd be "tying up loose ends", but it's only going to make things worse. Maybe I just need some food. I'd say I need someone to talk to, but I don't wanna drag anyone else into this mess.
 
Ugh, maaaaaaaaaaan I'm full. So much carne asada... I just don't want any meat for the next three days.

Ever since I told my parents I wanted to do something in science, my dad's been on my ass nonstop about how I should be a surgeon. I knew that side of him would come out eventually...

Also, the fact that I'm majoring in any kind of science has made me the "good one" because my brother and sister want to do journalism, and the little one doesn't even know yet. If I go through with this, I'll apparently be the second scientist on my dad's side (the other one being my cousin who's a physicist in Georgia).
 
I'm in love with Anne Hathaway's smile. Seriously, look at that smile, it is the best smile of any celebrity.
